Can you have children with Death?
« on: September 12, 2014, 01:43:56 AM »
Title says it all.

Is death male or female?  Is there just ONE death or three (sims3 had 3 different deaths)?

Actually haven't met him/her yet; so far no unfortunate accidents.  Nor deliberate ones.  Yet.

Maybe someone can clear this up, but from what I've heard, unless you mod him you can't do much with him. Like no romantic type things. Well, not woohoos, dates might be possible but that is hit and miss. Apparently if you add the grim to your household and then kill him, another grim takes his place so you can start the cycle over again. Good luck in figuring it out. :)

I met death because someone died at the bar (nothing exciting just old age). I pled for their life and death brought them back. We had a great conversation afterwards for quite a while but then they were in my relationship panel at all so I'd guess no you can't have a relationship with them or babies or anything. Deaths voice is what I'd consider and evil / demonic deep voice. We can assume due to the bass of it that its a guy but seeing that I've watched enough movies where woman go crazy evil that I'd assume they are gender neutral. Death is death.

Unless he's Discworld Death and then he is a grandfather to Susan so he's male, and a very hilarious one at that.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

Good thinking, now we just need to find him and brin back, the Hogfather or maybe Moist von Lipwig

I can confirm that you can have romantic interactions with Grim when he comes. If you're feeling flirty when someone dies, one of the options is "seduce to save life" as well as the normal plead for life interaction. I did in fact have one of my Sims flirt a bit when someone random died, but I didn't try and see if you can woohoo. I'm curious now as to if it would work.
From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

I had death come for my founder sim, her adopted daughter "plead for *sim* life" and the mother got spared. Later, the mother died. When the daughter tried flirting (asked if death was single lol) He replied "Death does not have time for romance"  ::)
