If you have Sims 4, have you played 3 again yet?
« on: September 09, 2014, 08:16:30 PM »
I'm launching Sims 3 for the first time in a week now. I really like 4, but there are some things I miss and I want to work on my Immortal Dynasty :) So I'm curious who else has gone back to 3 for a bit.

I think I've played an even number of both. I am determined to finish my dynasties.

I have played more Sims 4. Can't seem to stay away from it. And, I still have my Steel Random Town Jump to finish. I'll get back to it but probably not until next week. Traveling this weekend.

I have played some in my project file. I like the family and the open world is a nice change of pace from 4. But, I think I will play 4 a lot more from now, because it's new and shiny - and because I'm doing the cursed Home Design Hotshot in the sims 3 file, and I can only do 2-3 days before I'm frustrated out of my mind.

As of now I haven't touched the Sims 3 sense I started Sims 4. That doesn't mean I won't later on it's just right now I'm enjoying trying and discovering all the new stuff. Like a kid with a new toy and wants to only play with it until the new wears off. :)

I haven't touched Sims3 since the new one came out . I've only had a few days to play Sims4 and there still is a lot to discover . I'm sure that I'll go back and forth at times . I really miss the open world the most .

I still have dynasties going and I feel really guilty for not updating them and playing them as much as I should because this game is so much fun to me

Don't feel bad. You'll get to it when the fun! new! shiny! feeling has disappeared :)

I only got sims 4 a couple of days ago, but prior to that, I hadn't played the Sims 3 for a while (which tends to happen when I get a new video, this case being Last Of Us).  I will definitely go back to Sims 3, as I only got the game less than a year ago, and I tend to get expansion packs when they are on sale, so a lot of the game is still new to me and I still have a lot I can do with it. Plus there's a lot of features in 3 that I miss from 4. I did spend a lot of time on interior designing in 3, because it's something I enjoy. I can do that in 4, but without create a style and limited furnishings etc, it's not as fun....yet.

I've gone back for a quick visit to Sunset Valley. I still really enjoy playing TS3 and I think I'll probably play more TS3 once I get to the point of exploring everything I want to in TS4. The open world is just so good.

I've only been playing Sims 4 since it came out.  It's mostly because I need to get very familiar and write articles for Carl, but also because I want to be shocked at the difference when I finally play Sims 3 again.  :)

I've played both, although for the initial burst I played Sims 4 almost exclusively because of the shiny new game factor. However, I began to miss certain aspects of Sims 3, so now I'm going between them depending on my mood.
