No story this time, as trying to include these names in a coherent story would probably do my head in, and earn me the ire of people everywhere if I were to use sentences like 'Verb Grammar painted a masterpiece, or Noun Grammar went to school.' Yes my family has the surname of Grammar and the immortals and to be immortals are named after the parts of speech in English. I am currently at week 7, day 1 in game, and my founder is immortal. I am in Sunset Valley and I've had the simple rule this time of ...
1) No Agnes or Christopher in family.

Yes, my family name is Grammar, and my founder is the delightfully rebellious Verb Grammar. Verb Grammar had Loves the Outdoors, Rebellious, Artistic, Avant Garde and Workaholic as her traits and had Street Art as her supermax skill. Her LTW was to become street credible. With one of her qualifying LTRs being Rebel Social Group Influence, she got herself a job in Art Appraisal at the local abandoned factory and ended up specialising in Forgery, becoming a Master Forger a week or so before becoming an elder. After delving deeper into her personality, she discovered that she was ambitious as well.

Painting is being left as a open skill and so she managed to supermax Painting in addition to Street Art. Early on she met and married Mr Gobias Koffi, who became Mr Gobias Grammar. She also befriended Victoria and Beau Andrews. Gobias did gardening, fishing and handiness, Victoria painting, photography and writing and Beau sculpting, cooking and fishing. I adjusted Beau's traits using the brain enhancing machine version 2.

Once Beau got close to his 25 ice sculptures, both pairs of adults/young adults tried for babies. Chimes were heard on the same day for both couples, and while Verb ate watermelon, Victoria had a diet of apples. Children's music and tv were banned, much to the dismay of the childish Gobias. Verb gave birth to a little girl named Noun, who received starting traits of artistic and athletic. Victoria gave birth to a little boy named Sentence. His traits were athletic and genius. Both children received imaginary friend dolls, Noun called hers Paragraph, and Sentence named his Clause. Verb would grow up to be the family sculptor while also painting and inventing - inventing being learned from inventing books. Sentence would learn painting, photography and sculpting so that at the demise of Beau and Victoria, Verb would be able to be sculpted and photographed.

At week 7 day 1, Verb became immortal. While she had become an elder a few days earlier, the death of Victoria, Beau and Gobias in the space of 6 days knocked plans around, and it was only through the potent invigorating elixirs of Clause that Noun was able to get the ice sculpture of Verb sculpted on that Sunday, so when that happened, Verb ate the ambrosia made and replicated by Beau on the replicator upgraded by Gobias. She then went upstairs to pose for a formal photo amongst the museum pieces made by Victoria, Beau, Sentence and Noun, and received her death flower grown by Gobias and Paragraph.

Yes, all the household members associated with the Grammar family's attempt at immortality were involved in Verb's immortalisation, and now, with Noun, her sweet heart Sentence, and their two imaginary friends turned real, Clause and Paragraph 3 days away from young adulthood, our attention can be turned to Noun's efforts.

Yes I am. Once the aging problem I'm currently experiencing gets fixed up, Gen 2 ought to be an immortal shortly.

Congratulations on your first immortal. I think when I attempt this challenge I'll also just do a summary, writing is taking forever.

Thanks Brooke.

On Day 7 of week 13 the Grammars officially became my best attempt at an immortal dynasty as that was the day that Noun became an elder (a very early morning birthday party), posed for her painting, photograph and sculpture, ate ambrosia with her mother and became the second Grammar Immortal.

Noun had the traits of savvy sculptor, genius, athletic, artistic and bookworm and became the immortal sculptor for the family. Her qualifying skill was sculpting and her qualifying job was a self employed sculptor. To assist her daughter to complete photography challenges, she became a private investigator to reach the lofty heights of level 10 in that career as well. Noun changed lifetime wishes a couple of times until she decided to become a descendant of da vinci, picked up a supply of food replicators for her family and also became a speedy cleaner.

Noun sculpted and painted her way to a supermax and max respectively and also read inventing books and used mind enhancing machines for inventing. No inventions were made by Noun as handiness is slated for a later immortal. She married her childhood best friend, Sentence Andrews, who became Sentence Grammar. He did painting and photography and sculpting, in order to do her sculptures. Both Noun and Sentence received imaginary friend dolls, which were turned real and likewise became husband and wife - their names were Paragraph and Clause. Paragraph was gardening and fishing, and Clause was making alchemical concoctions. Both couples fell pregnant on the same day, Noun gave birth to a little girl named Adjective, while Paragraph gave birth to a little boy named Tense.

Noun is now immortal and our attention can turn to Adjective, who has been running around with a camera and becoming very snap happy.

Noun's Statistics

Traits - Savvy Sculptor, Artistic, Bookworm, Genius, Athletic
LTW - Descendant of Da Vinci
LTRs - Change Lifetime Wish, Food Replicator, Speedy Cleaner
Maxed Career - Self Employed Sculptor, also Private Investigator for Ops

Other Maxed Skills - Painting, Inventing
Owned Property - Mayfield Glenn
Owned Building - Vault of Antiquity
Opportunities - When Dreams Come True, High Quality Delivery, Scrounging for Blackmail, The Case of the Hacked off Client, Help the School, Eating Contest
Best Friends - Verb Grammar, Clause Andrews, Sentence Grammar, Paragraph Andrews, Elijah Keaton, Michele Ursine

Congratulations to Noun! You're brave in my mind for using imaginary friends as spouses, I frankly get bored of them after the first one is made real  :P

Adjectivve Grammar is currently a young adult, and I felt like updating her now. :)

Adjective was earmarked as the family photographer since before she was born, and so it didn't surprise anyone to see her acquire a camera for her childhood birthday. like her Mum and Grandma before her, she also did painting, but unlike them she did Visionary as her LTW. Toddler was spent reading painting books and getting to know her future husband, Tense Grammar, the son of the former imaginary friend dolls of her parents. Tense Grammar also had an imaginary friend doll who was also made real, and became a boy called Phrase (and yes, for those keeping track, that means I've got a full house.)

Household is currently as follows
Verb Grammar (Founder - Immortal)
Noun Grammar (Generation 2 - Immortal)
Sentence Grammar (Elder)
Paragraph Andrews (Elder)
Clause Andrews (Elder)
Adjective Grammar (Generation 3 - Young Adult)
Tense Grammar (Young Adult)
Phrase Grammar (Young Adult)

Adjective is 12 days from becoming an Adult, and then has 21 days in that stage. So, I'm going to say she needs to have a baby within the next 27-30 days. Sentence, Paragraph and Clause are all at 75 days currently, so if they are still all alive in 27-30 days, they'll all be over 100. Surely that can't happen (I know, I know, I've just cursed myself).

Anyway, Adjective has travelled extensively with different members of her family and has many photographs of her journeys. Adjective and Tense, her husband, have even spent a term at uni in an attempt to complete her paparazzi skill challenge. She is at about 47 unique strangers at the moment. Her remaining requirements are supermaxing photography, best friends and adult and elder museum pieces, oh and falling pregnant within the next 30 sim days. I'm thinking of getting the family make we love ya death posters and pompoms in an attempt for him to take one of the three elders away with him. Oh, and before Adjective falls pregnant, she'll be changed into a witch (and then back to human after giving birth), hopefully Gen 4 can do the witch-alchemy-fortune teller combo (and pick up the witch-only ltr as one of their qualifying rewards). Gen 4 will be named Adverb, assuming elders die in time. LOL

One good thing about having an almost full house is prevention of multiple births. You've gone a little beyond that though. I'm sure one of them will die in a timely manner.

Thanks for your comments, and for those of you who stop by for a look without commenting.

University Life

Here are some pictures of what Adjective and Tense did at uni.

Studying hard at their uni home

Bonehilda mixes them drinks to help them study better, or at least that what Bonehilda says, I suspect she just doesn't want to clean the house.

It is not all hard work and study for our young couple, however. In between boning up on anatomy (Tense) and Learning to Communicate (Adjective) they found time to play guitar (Adjective);

Note that Adjective is using the "Guitar on Stand Technique" that is all the rage at Sim Uni these days.

play chess (Tense); and

express their love.

Since then, another trip was made to Egypt in an attempt to complete the paparazzi skill challenge, still sitting around the 50 strangers mark, I think, and the family is just going about their daily business waiting for one of the three non-immortal elders to die.

Bonehilda is quite bored of all this, as demonstrated in the following shot.

I believe she is reading about the Waverly family and wishing she was part of that story.

You mean she wishes she was out of commission and drinking a lot? Of course she does. :P

Nice to see you're still doing well with this dynasty.

@Noun #Adventures going well 4 @Tense and @Adjective. Lots of ancient coins found. Other treasures as well #MissingYouAll

@Noun We have explored under #ForgottenCelticRuins. Found old ball, returned for reward. Investigating Museum Noises. A&T

And Adjective's mother, Noun (Gen 2) tweeted from Sunset Valley to them in France

@Adjective @Bonehilda has become quite addicted to #hopscotch. #Doingitfordays See here:
