Great legacy Aria! I plan on trying this out soon in Sunset Valley, If you don't mind. By the way, I find it incredible that one of your sims lived up to 130 days old! That's the oldest sim I've ever heard of.  ;D

So I have been playing your legacy and I was wondering...what happens if the next family is a young married couple?

So I have been playing your legacy and I was wondering...what happens if the next family is a young married couple?

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. :)

But just in case you or anyone else is interested, there are some options when the next family is a young married couple.  You can either break them up, and then marry into the family.  The downside is that you then have to make it work living with the ex.  Or you can become best friends with one (or both) of them and hope that one of them autonomously invites your sim to move in.  Then you can wait for one of them to die before you have a kid with one of them... that of course will only work if they're somewhat older.  Or you could have the couple have a kid, and if your sim is male then you can wait till their kid grows up and marry the kid.  Basically, you have to be creative and hope for the best.  I have had this happen before and I opted for the "break the couple up" option.  It went ok, and since the ex had commitment issues I was able to have my sim become friends with the ex without much trouble at all!  The ex ended up being perfectly happy to stay in the home and became a great help with child rearing.

So after coming back to this thread to answer a question after months and month's of inactivity I was inspired.  I decided to go back into my old ATL file and see what was up.  Well, a lot had happened since the last time I shared anything here!  Basically, a generation and a half happened.  Looking in my computer files I did take some screen shots, but who really wants to hear about a game that has already so old it's practically moldy.  And I would I come up with anything inspiring to say about it (assuming I ever was inspiring at all)?

Instead, I've decided to one-two-skip-a-few.  But to prove I'm being honest and following my own rules I'll go ahead and list what's happened so far!  (I know, super exciting!)

So here we are, the Harrison House.

Funny thing, there is no one here with the name Harrison.  When Fiona married into this house there were two brothers living here with the name De Los Santos.  There were 3 brothers when she started woo'ing them, but the oldest passed away before she was able to move in.

When I started playing again I found Fiona was already expecting a child with the youngest brother, Lane.  Here she is!

Fiona is Insane, Kleptomaniac, and a few other interesting traits.  She wants to possess a lot of stolen stuff.

And then there's Lane:

He became an elder shortly after the wedding.  He wants to be a CSI.

His older brother is Lester:

Lester is a Gold Digger.  But since he is 99 days old I don't see that happening.

If you've never played a game in this house in Buchaneer Bay, don't.  It's got a really strange layout that makes horrible use of the space.  The only up side, a HUGE garden.

If you're looking for life fruits, we got em.  Unfortunately I think it would be cheating to use them.  So I won't.  Good thing life fruit pancakes are yummy and non-life extending!

I think Insane sims are awesome.  All the wardrobe changes crack me up.  Fiona Loves the Outdoors, so she's always out playing in the sprinklers.

Ha ha, hee hee, this is so much fun!

*Jump quickchange*  Oooh, it's even more fun in THIS outfit!

While Lane is at work I've sent Lester and Fiona to the garden.  Lester gets to pickin' and Fiona gets to upgrade all the sprinklers.  It's a tough life.

So of course Fiona went into labor next to the life fruits.  At night, for dramatic effect.

It's a Boy!  Garrison Carroll.

Fiona isn't going to win Chef of the Year any time soon...

She's too busy playing slip-n-slide in her formal wear.

Lester & Fiona spend a lot of time together in the garden.  No talking allowed though.  Too much work to do.

When 8PM rolls around Fiona goes on the prowl for stuff to swipe.  She's got her eye on a big prize, but each time she tries to nab it she only gets a bunch of daisies.  And then the paparazzi show up and spoil all her fun.

The upside to being a celebrity thief is that she gets invited to a lot of parties.

"Hi, nice to meet you.  Now where's your most expensive stuff?"

While Fiona is busy casing the joint, Garrison ages into a toddler.

What's this a picture of?  Oh, that's the spot where the foos ball table used to be... before it ended up in Fiona's pocket.  Just in time too, she doesn't feel so hot.

The next morning she discovers the cause.

Gotta say, maternity wear has come a long way...

"And then the monster from the deep returned to his shadowy depths!"
*WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!*

Man, those paparazzi show up at the worst times!  Well, at least I'm starting a new family tradition: home birth next to the life fruit.

Welcome, Gregory Carroll!

Great to see you pick up the story again.  I had to go back a few pages and try to find where I left off.  Oh well, I always thought it was a good story and yes, you do write well.  I saw what you wrote earlier, shame, lol.  I will keep reading as long as you keep writing. :)

Uh oh...there goes Lester.

Funny that Fiona's first thought is about the broken computer... she's been meaning to fix that apparently.

With two babies in the house, and Lester out of the picture, it seemed like a good time to redecorate.  This house is kind of strange, this room (which is exactly how you'll find it upon start up of Barnicle Bay) is kind of like the master bedroom, but not really.  The stairway from the downstairs goes directly to this room, and then it has this space where it's open to the living room below.  Off of this room there's a work out room, which I've decided to keep, and the only bathroom in the house.  And down a loooooong hallway there's another large bedroom above the garage.  I've decided to let the room above the garage be the Master Bedroom since it seems more private.

This is the After that I've come up with.  After I took this shot I moved the bottom bunk to the family inventory and replaced it with a crib since I currently need 2.

Fiona seems to like it!

Oh nevermind, she's just happy cause it's her birthday.  No party for you this time, Fiona!

Fiona's gotten pretty handy after all those sprinkler upgrades.  I have her in the military career, although she hasn't been to work much due to pregnancy and child rearing.

What does Lane do while Fiona's busy fixing stuff?

He's up to level 8 now in the Forensic's branch of the police department.  He's 85 though, so who knows if he'll reach his life time goal.

Lane and Fiona crossed paths one day in that looooong hallway and both had the wish to have another child.  Really?  But whatever, I'm a sucker for those kinds of wishes.

Gregory grew up to be a rather cute toddler.  Where his blonde hair came from I'll never guess.

This time around Fiona was less worried about how she looked in her maternity wear.

In the early evening shortly after Fiona went to bed she began labor (Yes, she often sleeps in her swimsuit, got a problem with that?).  This time Lane actually paid attention!  Amazing...

He decided that they needed to rush to the hospital.  So no home birth this time by the life fruits.

That darn computer...

Ta da!  Here's baby Gino!

And just as I was thinking "Hm, guess I'm gonna have to buy a third crib" Garrison grows up!

Three kids is starting to wear Fiona out...

So she puts the kids to bed.

And gives herself some Me time.

Gino's babyhood has come to an end.

On a side note, I'm starting to get a bit concerned.  Lane is still 2 promotions away from achieving his LTW.  And he's 92 days old now... oy.

Paint like the wind, Lane!

Fiona isn't doing much better.  She has 12,000 simolians worth of stolen goods in her inventory.  She goes out nearly every night to steal stuff, but since this is Barnicle Bay I don't really know where to go or what to steal in order to bring in the big bucks!  She has gotten ONE Bwan Speedster, everyone else seems to own Sloppy Jaloppies or Big Lemon's.  She goes to all the fancy parties, but it seems like the biggest "big ticket" items I can get are usually around $1000, and that's only if she doesn't steal the light fixtures instead.

I keep trying for the big airplane statue in front of the army base, but so far, only daisies end up in the inventory.  *sigh*

Apparently at 93, Lane's still "got it".  Chimes are heard... again!  Poor Fiona...

A little mother/son bonding time in the garden.

Gregory has his birthday!

Lane tries to take some time away from skill building to spend some time with his boys.  He knows he won't be around for much longer.

"Lane, I have something to tell you that might come as a bit of a shock, so don't keel over and die on me!  We're pregnant!"

Shaggy gives it a big Thumbs Up!
