Excellent strategy with the tattoo.  Now I need to read back and see who Christy's mother is.  My memory is too bad to even try to remember.  ;D

Mark and Hope adopted Christy, they were both Elders by the time there was enough room in the house to add a baby.  :)

Christy was interested in reconnecting with some relatives.  So she took a trip to the Annan house.  Apparently her Aunt Flora has had 3 kids and thankfully one of them is a girl Christy's age!  They play and play and play till the sun goes down and it's well past Christy's curfew.

While Christy was gone Kellie spent some time with her guitar.  She managed to max that skill, which means 4 maxed skills for Kellie.

When you adopt a baby they come with 2 random traits, in Christy's case they were Genius and Artistic.  When she aged up to child she picked up the Perfectionist trait.  So it seemed obvious that she should take after her Dad, her Grandfather, and Kellie and pick up the painting skill.

Kellie & Christy spent a great deal of time together on the balcony creating beautiful works of art.

They also watched a lot of TV.

And then it was time for Christy's Birthday.  The cake is this way, Christy!

After a bit of a makeover she looks more "artsy".

Christy picked up the Vegetarian trait.

Kellie was relieved.  Her fear of Christy growing up with strangers was finally gone.  Now all she had to do was make sure Christy didn't do anything stupid before her next birthday.

Yes!! She made it! Hurray, happy birthday Christy! Teens can't be taken away if the only adult in the house dies right?

Happy Birthday Christy! I'm glad she's got some cousins, it doesn't seem to happen very often.

That's correct, teens can't be taken away by a social worker.  :)

Christy decided to go check out her potential new home to see if there were any teen males living there.  *wink wink*

The next household in alphabetical order is the Carroll Family.

It looks like she didn't make a great first impression, but no matter.  I'm sure they'll warm up to her eventually.  There appear to be 3 Adults and 1 Elder living in the house, 3 male 1 female.  I have no idea what their relation is to each other so that should be interesting.

But Christy is a long way from her next birthday, so she went home to focus on her skills and school work.

Kellie painted a very cute picture of Christy.

Christy had an idea, she thought she'd make as many paintings as she could before her next birthday to use as a present for her new family.  She got to work immediately.

Kellie thought she'd contribute too.  So they painted and painted till their feet were aching and their arms were sore.

After a few days of painting Kellie thought they could use a break.  Plus, she knew her time was coming soon, she was 93 days old.  So she decided to give Christy a present!  A brand new guitar, and whaddya know it's even Christy's favorite color!

The next morning they went to the park and played a major jam session!  It was a very fun and memorable moment for both of them.

After that, it was back to business.

The next day, Christy's cousin came to visit.  Goodness knows what those two were talking about!

They were having such a good time, until suddenly they heard a noise from the art balcony.

And then Death, the neat freak of all neat freaks, decided to take care of the fishies.   :-\

Why thank you Mr. Reaper, I was meaning to do that myself but you saved me the trouble.

Christy was very sad.  But she was thankful that she wasn't completely alone, and glad that her cousin was there when it happened.

Thankfully, her cousin and BFF wouldn't leave her alone, not even for a second.

RIP Kellie.

The last urn is added to the special room.

How do you cope with living in a gigantic house filled with ghosts all by yourself?

Why, you hire a butler of course!

Despite her grief, Christy has kept up with her school work and her painting.  It's what Kellie would have wanted.  When the LTW rolled up Master of the Arts Christy took it.  She figured it combined the desires of two of the great influences of her life, her Dad and Kellie.

Christy resolved that as soon as she could she'd leave this house.  All the ghosts really freaked her out, especially when her Dad came to visit.  Freaky!

So when her Birthday came around she was THRILLED!  She could not wait to move on and leave this place.  She threw a big party and invited everyone she knew.

Just one more night in this crazy house... just one more night... and of course, a burglar comes.  Seriously?

The Carroll house.  It's a lot smaller than she was accustomed to, but she was ok with that.  At least there were no ghosts there!

When she showed up to renew her friendship with the Carroll's only Cruz and an elder female were home, so she struck up a conversation with Cruz.

Turns out they had a lot in common, so they conversed easily, and soon friendship turned to love.

It's almost a Sim cliche, Love in the Bathroom.  With the added bonus of a broken toilet.

But broken toilet or no, Christy was not going to waste any more time.

She spent the night at the Carroll house.  She couldn't handle facing her empty house even if the butler was there to keep her company.

The next morning she went home, but only to plan her wedding party.  It was such a beautiful spot for a party.

And when it was time to exchange the rings, the bathroom seemed like the appropriate spot. (?)

And then they were off to their new house and their new life together!

I am so happy she managed to find love. But an elder?! I would have thought that living with all elders would have turned her off from them but apparently it went the other way! Congrats on the wedding! Can't wait for Christy's nooboo!
