Now for a segment I'd like to call, Let's Count the Gray Hairs!

Starting with the youngest of the Annan sisters...

One...

Two...

Three...

Mr. Annan Jr. makes four...

Mrs. "Night Owl" Abe-Annan is five...

And then of course Mr. Annan Sr.  Six.

Six Elders in this house.  SIX!  And half of them are over 90 days old!  Mr. Annan Sr. is now 130.  I didn't even know a Sim could live that long!  What the heck?!

Mark decides to take action.

"Hello, Grimm?  Uh, yeah, I've got a problem over here.  I think you missed a couple of your 'special deliveries' over at the Annan house..."

To pass the time... yet AGAIN!  Mark decided to head on over to "Edit Town" mode to see if anyone else had moved in since he woo'd Miss Calentine.  There was still one sister remaining in the Calentine house, but thankfully a new family had moved in, the Bliss family!  HURRAY!  So Mark put on his best ruffles and headed on over to introduce himself.

Well, this is odd.  People aren't usually hanging out at the mailbox when you visit...

Woah, check it out!  Party at the Bliss house!

Plenty of fine ladies too!  Which begs the question, who actually lives here?

Mark was still pretty torn up about Nina, but at least he had someone to talk to about his troubles.

One lady seemed particularly friendly...

Finally, Grimm decided to make an appearance, but it wasn't for Mr. Annan Sr.  No, it was for one of the Aunt's.  Fawn, I think it was.

Daisy mourns the loss of her sister, but I'm cheering away like I won the lottery!

"Nice to meet you Mr. Grimm.  I hear there's an all-you-can-eat buffet at your place."
"Umm... sure there is.  Right this way."
"Don't mind if I do."

And then before I could do anything else, HOUSE FIRE!  Looks like it's gonna be my lucky day!  I take a hands off approach to see what will happen next.

One of the sister's caught fire, but the firefighter arrived just in time to save her.  Drat!

She immediately ran to the mirror to "admire self".  You look gorgeous, dahling!

And then Mr. Annan Sr. finally decided to follow his daughter into the afterlife.  Busy day for Grimm!

Mark Abe-Annan didn't waste any time.  He ran right over to the Bliss house to check on a girl.

"Hey, remember me from the party the other night?  Tell me, what's your opinion of marriage?"

"Great, let's just go for it!  I'm tired of living in an old folks home."

Remember how there were all those people at the Bliss house last time Mark came to visit?

Well, turns out they ALL live there!  Mark has just become the 8th member of the household, so it'll be a looong time before any nooboos!

Thankfully the house is friendly, everyone is best friends with everyone else.  Too bad they're all either unemployed or on level 2 of their careers!

Enjoy the games while you can, things are about to get a lot more strict around here.

There's Keisha.  She's an angler who's hoping to present a Perfect Aquarium.  No fishing skill?  No problem!  We'll fix that in a jiffy.

Next is Kasey.  She's hoping to be a Professional Athlete.  She does have the athletic trait and 2 skill points, but has yet to actually GET a sports career.  *sigh*

Next up, Bethany.  She has some points in painting and athletic, but her main goal is to find the richest man, marry him, and then watch him die.  Nice!

Then there's Calvin Bliss.  He's actually the only one in the household who has the last name Bliss.  Everyone else has different names.  They have no relation to each other at all, just roommates.  Calvin wants to be a Master Mixologist.

Edmund wants to be an International Super Spy.  Again, no job and no pertinent skills.

And then there's sweet Kellie.  She wants to be a Master of DeVinci.  Again, zero skills that will help.

What about Hope?  The chick Mark cast his lot with?  Well, she wants to be a Great Explorer.  *SIGH*  Since I no longer travel due to bugs she will be perpetually unhappy.

Pretty hilarious that given the circumstances her name is HOPE!

And that's Mark's new house.

Wow, it looks like that household will keep you busy for a while.  I didn't see any elders, so I guess it will be a while for any nooboo's.  Great update the screenshots are good as always. :)

I've run into a problem w/ this particular game file, and it might mean the end of this particular Legacy.  I'm going to try playing around with it one more time, but if I keep having to reset sims every 3 minutes then I'm just gonna scrap it and start over.

*shrug*  It happens.

Here's my problem, every time they go to bed they freeze in these really weird ways and end up not getting any sleep and yet they're stuck and can't get up or move or anything.

And then I reset only to have them go from the above picture, to the picture below.  *sigh*

Reset again...

And again.

So anyway, I'm headed back into my game to see if restarting my computer will help, but if not I'm gonna scrap this file and start over. :(

Did you try buying another bed or rearranging the room and putting the bed somewhere else?  I had a similar problem and moved the bed and it quit happening.  I call it a "dead zone".  I had a basement and they would go to bed and be in the air in the basement right under their bed upstairs, when I moved the bed to the other side, it never happened again.  Just a suggestion though.  Or try another room. :)

I had a spare in my Dynasty do that. All I did was replace the bed, in the same spot, and everything was fine after that. Good luck, Aria, I hope you can continue.

Aria, you are absolutely hysterical!  I was laughing so hard at the all you can eat buffet at the Grim's, hoping one or more elder would go up in flames, and the crispy one admiring herself in the mirror!  I can't wait to see what happens next.  I may have to save my reading for home, though, because people look at me funny when I start giggling on the subway.   :-[

What's even more funny is that I'm not usually directing them when they do something silly, most of the time they just run off and do what they like and I just pay attention and take screen shots.  The only real direction I give them is to make sure they go to work on time, and try to fulfill as many of their wishes as I can.  When the Annan sister ran off after the fire was put out I just said to myself, "Huh, I wonder where she's going?"  And whaddya know, she was running to the mirror!  I think her Snob trait took over right at the most hilarious moment!  ;D

I thought I might give this a go.  In the rules it says we can't add to the outside the the house, I assume that means adding basements as well? just wanted to clairify...
