What are the different ways to die in TS4?

Hey! So I've been playing The Sims 4 for a few days now and I really like it.
But, I've got the feeling that it's a lot harder to die in TS4 than it is in TS3 etc? Like there are no pools so you can't drown them, you don't have to repair electrical devices anymore etc.

So, this is gonna sound awful, but if I want to get rid of a Sim, what's the easiest way to go? I know that you can starve them but are there any other ways?

They speak of dying from embarrassment (EA live stream). I also seem to recall something about dying from hilarity. So far no electrocutions for my handy sims.

From too much fun (laughing), embarrassment, electrocution is really tough to do, and one other they mentioned that I forgot, but I think it's sadness.

It's way too easy to have them die from embarrassment. My first sim didn't even make it a day. So that one will be pretty easy.

I did have one of my sims get electrocuted from fixing the fridge in my game.  She became "dazed" and said to avoid repairing things for a time.  Also said to shower to help "wash it away" or something like that.  I'm assuming more than once while the sim is already dazed would cause death by electrocution.

I think it is harder to die in TS4 than TS3. I've had my sims extinguish fires, upgrade and fix electrical appliances, have fights in space and the worst thing to happen was becoming dazed. I guess if you push your sims to continue something once exhausted, dazed, really hungry etc maybe they will die. I think too that extreme emotions really help in killing them off but it just doesn't seem to happen in ordinary game play.
Correct me if I'm wrong, my game play is pretty focused on career achievements!

I don't know about that. I know a lot of people who are starting legacies living out in the open reporting their founders die of embarrassment.

From my experience, it is a thousand times easier in TS4. It's extremely annoying for me, I'm always desperate to get legacy founders pregnant so I don't have to worry anymore.

Good to know, I guess playing a legacy is such a different game-style that the emotions really have an impact!

I had one die by fire.  I wasn't ready for her to die so I reloaded the previous save, and sure enough she did it again.  (The third time I ordered pizza lol)

I laughed so hard at this! I know elder sims can die of over exerting themselves and yes that also includes woohoo'ing.

My elderly male sim died from exhaustion after 2 lots of woohoo with his younger bride!

I laughed a little too loudly at this one too I think some of these events might be set on a timer of sorts, because I  have reloaded certain games multiple times and every time, without fail, the same thing happens - toilet breaks, fridge breaks, fire starts etc. So long as certain conditions are met (or more to the point, not met) the event happens.
