Music -- playing for tips

You don't get a notification that your sim can play for tips, but you can start getting them at level 4, maybe even 3. Send your sim to a public place and pick a song or "jam". There's no tip jar (don't like), but you can queue up more songs by clicking on the guitar while the sim is playing (do like, very much). Tips at level 4 are about 8 simoleons.

I found that if you put your sim at the crosswalk at the Willow grove Park, that's a great way to grab sims just zoning in, they haven't started any other actions yet, so your playing has a good chance of triggering a tip from them.

Did the same thing in Oasis at the park, had a group and $100 in seconds.. much better than when I tried at the lounge with my other sim.

I tried it at the library, first thing in the morning and it didn't take long for the tips to start rolling in.. seemed to be some big tippers with amounts of $16-$20 per person
