I haven't posted much on here before but figured I would give it a shot! Let me know if I posted in the wrong place or did something wrong

So I've noticed Sims 4 has a ton of different Collections so far. I've been working on collecting as many as I can. I have been making a list and figured I would offer the information I have so far if anybody was interested for the guide or just personal use.

I already have a decent amount so I won't post all of it unless somebody actually would like it. Information so far includes some different types of collection items (that I've found so far), Sell prices (for most items), Rarity, and any bonus they provide.

Completed the MySims trophies earlier, all of them from Mysterious Time Capsules obtained from digging.

Rare: TOBOR, Zombie Carl, Violet, Goth Boy.
Uncommon: Morcubus, Lyndsay, Jenny, Leaf, Trevor Verily, Dr. F.
Common: Poppy, DJ Candy, Hopper, Buddy, Gnok, Chef Gino, Ol' Gabby, Elmira Clamp, Chaz McFreely, Yuki.

They all have a Playful Décor: 3 Emotional Aura. The Rare ones are worth 75 and then uncommon and common ones are worth 35. And they all look absolutely amazing!

Wow, incredible effort you've made there. Collecting all those must have taken quite some time. I will certainly reference this if I am missing some. It may be a while before I get to collecting though, since Skills/Careers are my top priority. I'm very easily derailed sometimes though, and may end up doing something like this sooner than I think.

Hello! Just joined the forums because i saw this thread and figured I should help out, as I have the entire Postcard Collection which is very easy to obtain. They are collected by finding pen pals using a computer, the way I did it was I looked for a pen pal before going to bed, as soon as I woke up I checked for a reply (which there should always be one), sent a letter to the new pen pal (you need to send at least 1 letter to get the postcard), took care of the morning needs, then simply asked for a postcard, you should get one in the mail the next day, unless of course it's Sunday. Either way here's the full Postcard Collection.

EDIT: After looking more into the different postcards I realized I have made a mistake, each postcard has a set visual condition, in other words each type of postcard will always have the same value, as such i have added the values of each postcard next to them, please ignore the values at the bottom of this post, I apologize for not getting my facts straight the first time.

No, not related to a skill at all, and yes, all pen pal interactions are done through the computer.

To get the pen pals, just go to computer - other - socialize (at least on mine), and it's an option to post for a pen pal. You have to wait a few game hours, then write to the pen pal to get one, then after a correspondence or so, you can ask for a post card. They seem to come when bills come (all at once). I was very tired by the time I'd obtained 2 or 3, and had just mass requested the rest, I don't know if there is a trick to it but I have been being a 'good' pen pal -- writing to all of them each time I get a new one. It doesn't take long and oddly the interactions stack. As if you're writing multiple posts/letters at once. They look cute on the wall of the office.

So far several things that seem they should fill social need aren't doing it (this, chatting on slablet gives a lot of social but wasn't maintaining relationships). I've been adding them on the bug report list. Hopefully they would provide some measure of social. It would only make sense and make the game more robust.

Hello, just wanted to say even though this is the first time I have created an account and posted I have viewed the forum information for a while, just thought I would add the data for the collectables that I have completed.

I finally completed my frog collect, and thought I would list them. I found it easier to collect them by spamming "look for frogs" in the big parks that had the ponds, than to run all over the place looking for them or breeding them. I would say the average catch is 1 out of 5 because they are slippery, but you could keep attempting them over and over. Selling price and environment is the same that was previously mentioned above.
