Thought I would share some pics of a Georgian style home I have been building for the last day or so.  It has 5 bedrooms three full baths and 2 half baths, while the ground floor seems more the entertainers home it is really a family home with nursery, and children's rooms.  I lost all of the decorating I did on the ground floor when the power went out, (2-3 hours of work) that was when I realised that auto-save is awful. I got a bit worn out re-doing the ground floor.  Even though it needs some serious help in the landscaping department I shared it in the gallery with the hashtag carlsguide, from my account Rosehill239.

Even though I'm pretty bad at landscaping I had a go at making a hedged pond area.  So Romantic.

This is the house I'm currently building for my Immortal Dynasty Challenge (my first!).

I might wait to do any more on it until they've accrued enough simoleans to build it as it is right now (about 150k simoleans).

@Dellena  That is fantastic work! I love the shape of the pool, the veranda area and landscaping.

This if the BFF "Garden Essence" home. It's fully lived-in. I created a single YA male alien, befriended Summer, and moved him in. You'll see Liberty Lee in the Kitchen. Summer is at work, and Travis is asleep upstairs. Two alien teens - twins - by abduction are asleep in a room that'll be converted to something else later, probably a "playful" room with a computer for writing jokes or trolling the forums. Once Travis maxes his career and gets me the big TV I'll marry him off to Liberty and they'll move out. I often play smaller houses than this, and having to be efficient with space has taught me that an art studio really doesn't need to be big.

It's a 40x30 lot. I've built a similar house before, but oriented perpendicularly to this one. So here we have no back garden at all, but more space on the sides. Which looked weird. To fill that space there's that circular patio (with tables and chairs handmade by Thobanob Arkvoodle - I found a list of TS3 alien names) which adjoins the kitchen / dining room and I think it really balances out the house. They're not really outdoorsy chairs. The palm trees overhanging the pool was a must. It's so awesome.

It's a work in progress. There's still some furnishing that needs to happen. As with almost all my houses, I put a grill in the kitchen. Because it's efficient, because that's where there's inspired décor. It makes sense.

It is a little thing of my own. I call it "Heart Foam". I shall not publish it. Farewell! Patience, Patience, farewell!

Johnny Zest's place, though he was long dead before it was built. I dunno. It might inspire someone... or energize... or focus...

I have a few other photos, but some minor alterations have been made since. There's one screenshot of Alexander Goth dying on the front steps. It was very dramatic. But the front of the house was "experimental" at that stage, and the picture doesn't reflect the current state. (This is actually a family I haven't played for months.) And on a building thread, sentiment (or just pointing and saying "oooh look at that!" over a dead sim has no place. I just love that view of the pool with the sun catching the house and wanted to share. The dining room is also one of my favourite, and it's a colour scheme I've reused.

Heartfoam are you sharing the two builds I just saw?  They are absolutely gorgeous~~!  Would love to favorite and follow.

Currently working on updating some builds I've never shown or shared.  Will be uploading Sims and houses soon.

I'm working on a remake of my Victorian House from The Sims 3.
I still miss the round and octagon roofs for house like these.
Still a lot to do and I'm just working on it here and there and I'm slow on some things that I get picky about. Like the curved hedge coming up the walkway I probably spent an hour or more just getting the hedges turned just the way I wanted them to make the curve. :)

Front of the house. oops just noticed the mailbox and trashcan are still sitting in the middle of the yard, just ignore that for now. :)

Study with lots of desk space.

Dining room with plenty of sitting.

Ooooh,  I really love that kitchen!!  Must have taken you hours to get those counters just right.  Lovely house.  Hope you are sharing in the gallery.

@Joria I did share it on the gallery. There are more pictures of the finished house and a download link here. Or in the Library look under my username grimsoul0 or #carlsguide

@Shewolf13 The counters wasn't really that hard to do. Just using the moveobjects on cheat and holding the ALT key down to move them freely to get them lined up right.

But I think the kitchen was my favorite room in the house, I also loved how it turned out.

Just finished a new house it's not really fancy like other house's on here, but it's not the house I really wanted to show, main focus was on the pool which took me several times/month cause I didn't play the lot very much. Inside nothing fancy but if anyone wants other pic's inside or a closer look at the pool I'll upload more pic's. So here it is.

@XxMousiexX , is that floating 'shade thingy' I spy? Did you build that with the little fence thing that came with Get to Work? I keep seeing 'thingies' like that on builds and always forget to give them a go myself. The pool looks great.
