When you are in a bad mood and start thinking, "Do I have enough happiness points to buy a moodlet manager?" Seriously, why can't LTRs be real?

When you start hearing all the sound effects for various things  -like the little "fizzy-twinkle" sound, when you've finished cleaning a counter, or the naff theme music for the Build/buy sections, when you're busy browsing online stores.  :-[

When you go to a job interview thinking "I hope my charisma skill is high enough"
Understanding others, will help you become whole.

You go on holidays and on discovering that the hotel you are staying in has FREE wifi, you find yourself wishing that you HAD tried loading up sims 3 on your laptop before going, and wondering where the closest Electronics Boutique store is to your hotel in Sydney.

Also, when you are on said holiday, you check into Carl and Pam's The Sims 3 Forum, despite promising yourself before the holiday that you would not do so.

I leave my electronics home when I go on vacation. Our time share in Cabo has free wifi, and I don't really want to spend my whole time in the room playing TS3. I do dream Sims though. When I was playing Sims and Fallout, I would dream of my sims walking the wasteland shooting deathclaws.

I'm awake right now because I had a dream that one of my simmies got this weird "Sickness" moodlet (I don't have Seasons).  Almost immediately after that, I woke up and was sick.  xD

you are at the Sydney airport and find a powerpoint you can plug your computer in so that you can check out the forum and play the sims a bit before your plane arrives (plane boarding about 3 1/2 hours from now).

Edit: Also, on the ride from your hotel to the airport you type your sims adventures into your mobile phone.

I recently started listening to the old Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio series for the first time in years and started picking out sim traits for the main characters. So far I've got Zaphod as Charismatic, Inappropriate, Lucky, Kleptomaniac, and Party Animal.

...now if only I could recreate him, but sims can't have two heads and three arms. :P

  • I like video games and the latest technology with a pinch of craftiness in the mixture.

For me, it's all those years playing the Sims franchise, I can understand their language.

I was reading a book where a character was pregnant and wanted a girl. My first thought was to just eat lots of watermelons.

I was reading Yelp reviews of a local nightclub with a drag show, and someone wrote that the performers "kept the audience woohoo'ing all night long."  I was way more shocked than I should have been.  ;D

You are arranging to give blood to Australian Red Cross, and in response to the question of "have you had a tattoo recently" you say "no, I'm not interested in resetting my life state", to which the person says, "oh, you play the sims 3, as well?"

That's brilliant! I just had to laugh. Many comments of mine similar to this are greeted with confused looks instead.
