When you decide on Saturday morning 'I really need to do the mowing today' before going to play the sims and then you discover it is 8pm or so at night, and you haven't done the mowing, but think 'oh well, tomorrow's Sunday, I'll do the mowing then!' :)

lol  and it's not raining yet so hop to it.   ;D

I got the mowing done, I was in such a good mood, I decided to do a bit of my neighbour's lawn as well, the neighbours on the upside of me generally does the mowing down to my driveway, so it is only fair that I pay the favour on.

Another one, you almost burn your dinner because you are forever running to check your sims, or this site.

I've done that lots of times.  I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do that.  ::)

The reverse is that I just spent a computerless week in Mexico, and here I am checking this site. Not enough Sims?

I regularly burn dinner/breakfast/lunch because I am at the computer...  :-[

When you can link any topic of conversation to something that's happened in your sim game. Or when you imagine what would happen if sims 3 crashed when you hadn't saved for 2 hours! You could say I like sims 3!

When you're at the beach and find a seashell, and in your head you play the little jingle when a sim finds something snorkelling. You know the one I mean ;)

You realize that DV has its own unique 'generic' face.

You realize that your specific ID genetics flow as follows: kid looks significantly like one parent, has one grandparent's eyes and another's hair color. And it's not just the Immortal family; it's all the kids born in your household.

I played for a few hours…? And got 2 Error 12s but I had saved both times 5mins earlier. But I had gone through 3 generations from 2 to 5. :(

When the first thing you notice while watching a T.V. show is that they're using the build/buy music as background music.

lol Danielle, I noticed that last year (or the year before) on The Apprentice they were using the Sims 3 build/buy mode music.

Yes! I know what you mean! I saw an advert for a TV show using sims 3 music! I was just like "Is that legal?"

I was at a restaurant and recognized a song on the radio (which I don't listen to) and realized I knew it from the Sims 3.  Unfortunately, I didn't recognize "the words".  I had to laugh to myself.

Something similar happened to me today. My hubby met me for lunch near my office and as we were sitting in the cafe I heard a very familiar song being played. It was one of the songs from the "Geek Rock" station on Sims 3 and one of my faves in the game! Oddly, I think I liked the simlish version better. :P

(Is this the right board for this? Sorry, I'm new.)
When you're hungry, you imagine the hungry moodlet over your head.
You imagine giving people you know makeovers in Create-A-Sim.

How do you know you play Sims too much? :)
