...you're at Hobby Lobby and you walk through art section and wonder if the easels you see were made to look like the ones in Sims 3.   And then you tell your son, "all I need now is a blue tube over my head to show my painting skill".

When you meet a red-head named Chris, who has thin lips and think, "do I really want my future heirs to be cursed with those lips?"

I managed to relate Sims to my English paper (and my teacher commented she wanted to play), and all my references are from legacy stories...So I can't really share those because no one would understand them...

When you wake up in the morning, the first thing that appears in your mind is what your Sims would do today instead make plan for yourself ::)

You know you've played too much sims when every person you meet or tries to have a conversation with you always falls on deaf ears as you try to figure out which Sim they resemble most.

You know you've played too much Sims when you start a new file in a familiar neighborhood and you know the work hours for every single sim that you plan for your sim to run into, example: In a dynasty file I got an opportunity to take a picture of Iqbal Alvi for Christopher Steal, so I sent my Sim to the library for 2 hours (it was noon Sim-time) because I knew he doesn't get off work until at least 3 and then he has to get home from the business building a couple blocks away.

On the same note, you know you've played too much Sims when you already know the birthday of all townies in the neighborhood your playing in.

You know you play too much Sims when you are going through the "Weird Pics, Funny Posts or something new" post and you can't stop laughing at something but no one around you who doesn't play sims frequently gets it.

I could do this all day! I definitely play too much Sims!

Edit to add: when you are going through the "Weird Pics, Funny Posts or Something New" forum post you can always point out Agnes and Christopher steal in unnameable screenshots. I just went to that thread and it reminded me of that.

When you have to bite your tongue to stop from telling a new patient that she has the same name as the cop that showed up at your sims house last night. (A good way to lose a patient, unless of course, she's also a sims addict)

You know you play too much sims when you realize that one of the ladies working in the accounting department at your office bears more than a passing resemblance to Cornelia Goth.

Seriously, she is nearly a dead ringer, only about thirty years younger and with black hair instead of purple. She wore a black and white striped shirt the other day and I had to bite my lip to keep from saying something. :P

Really, for me it was: how do you fit homework into your sim schedule?
