You know you've played too much Sims when you know your way around Sunset Valley better than your own city.

Uh-oh. What about knowing the people there better than your own real neighbors? I've lived in my house for a year, and know like 1 neighbors name, while I can name SV residents at the drop of a hat. Is that wrong?

Of course it isn't, who needs neighbors when you have a town full of little people inside your computer!

Or conversely, when you look for one hovering over someone else to let you know their mood.

You know you've played too much Sims when... you have a friend over and he requests you to make his Simself. Then you mess with the sliders, and turn him into something else. Which turns into a fake-fight. And then, when said person refuses to budge from your PS2, you wish you could cancel his action queue. But you can't so you think about switching it off. But instead, when he budges, you force him into a car race on said PS2, him against a great player...
and he beats you several times.
All true - it happened to me mere hours ago.

You know you've played too much Sims when you think and think if IFs (Imaginary Friends) were first made in Sims or real life, you don't come to a conclusion, and you go make your Sim child play with his IF and start thinking whilst playing, again... o_O

Saying that: If I was your neighbour in real life I would ASSUME you where going to know me. Forgive me if I would have dragged you away from your computer from time to time to go out in the city.

Oh you sweet funny thing! We deffinatly would go get along with each other with no doubt. Same hobbie, same interest.

I start screaming at my sims. I also curse and scream at my sims at the same time. For example: "IF YOU DON'T CLEAN THE DANG TOILET THEN WHY DID I HIRE YOU? YOU DUMBO MAID! HEY! WHY'D YOU CLEAN THE SINK? CLEAN THE TOILET! NOW. OR ELSE, I'M GOING TO DROWN YOU ON PURPOSE!" My roommate would be like: "You are crazy."

You know you've played too much Sims when you have an incredibly detailed dream about remodelling your starter house in Sunset Valley (the two-bedroom opposite the Alvi's place). I dreamed about adding new rooms, wallpapering them, furnishing them etc, all as if I was in Build/Buy mode
