When you're too sick to actually play the sims but you lie in bed wondering if they are doing ok without you.  :o (I'm blaming this one on my high temperature.)

After what teen Winston got up to while his watcher was away, you should be worried. *checks head for fever*

@KRae I actually had a panic thinking that teen Winston wouldn't be doing his homework and would lose his 'A' at school!!!  :o   *Heads back to bed...I must be sicker than I thought* (I can't believe I even admitted that!!)

Your two year old nephew pulls pillows onto the ground and pretends to fall asleep on them, you think 'floorboo' and look around for the baby dragon babysitter. Or maybe that's reading too many great stories by @KRae .

Hey, @Deklitch , I don't know if I should say thank you and you're welcome or to simply apologize.

When you tell your visiting neighbor that "sorry I was a bit slow to answer the door but I was just trying to kill off my second spouse" and wonder why on earth they look like they're going to throw up.  ???

When you're playing another game and keep pressing speed 3 and wondering why the game isn't speeding up... And when you wish for a speed 3 or 4 in RL!

Or when you create your totally gorgeous, perfect sim and try to figure out where you can get the potion to make him real!

You have just got off a double shift (worked overtime so not really a "shift" per se but close), and have to be awake at 5 for the next one (its 23:40 here now) and yet still you're wondering whether there's enough time to fit in a game between sleep and wakefulness!

I went to bed later than usual last night after a long day (I'm a Creative Writing major, my days are often longer than one of an engineering major) and thought "I'll just use testingcheatsenabled in the morning."

Testingcheatsenabled does not work in real life, but luckily coffee does!

I recently sent my Sim to catch some deathfish in the graveyard but the background night sounds of crickets and frogs were really loud, so after trying to adjust the volume in game and getting nowhere, I realised that those loud night sounds were outside my IRL window which was open.    I closed the window and solved the problem.  ::)

You spend a whole day hunting down the perfect medieval custom content and mods, but then only spend half an hour playing with it :/ (Though I am especially happy with the notebook for writing skill instead of computer).

All of the grandkids reminisce fondly of Sim families played at your house and ask how they're doing.
