...you feel like you know your way around Sunset Valley better than your own real-life area.  :)

And you feel like you know the townies better than your own neighbors. This...is actually not far from the truth. :P

I do know the townies better than my IRL neighbours!  I've spent much more time with them!

I don't know the names of . . . any of my  neighbors, but I know the names, traits, and lifetime wishes of every SV townie.

...you're at the beach, and someone's toddler makes the sulky "mehhh" sound that Sim toddlers make when they don't want to learn to talk, and you immediately think "What's wrong with the nooboo?"  :o

Then, when the aforementioned nooboo starts throwing a screaming tantrum, you lie there wondering whether shift-clicking it in your head enough times will actually make it teleport home so you don't have to listen to it anymore.

You surreptitiously check out the customers in the store who are browsing the Sims 3 section and wonder if they are members of this forum.

I once had a customer at my job whose last name was Ansari. I almost asked her if she was related to Ayesha. :D

Haha, this is great.  ;D

Um. That hits real close to home.

And this is dead-on. My neighbor of almost 3 years moved the other day, and I realized I only knew his first name, and nothing else about him. Yikes. Ah well!

I dunno if anyone made a mention of this but I drive a SUV and every time I get that sucker filled it costs me at least 60 bucks every time.  While I was waiting for the thing to fill I was thinking about what I should do next with the game then I wished I could find a console somewheres and type motherlode for more money.  lol

I worked in conjunction with a fellow who used to call in and whine to me about a computer program he had to use.  This happened back with sims 2.  When he groaned it sounded just like the lower register voice of the males.  I laughed myself silly when I heard him on the phone.  It was all I could do not to laugh out loud.  I made a sim and called Jack Sims (his first name was not Jack, but you get the idea) in his honour.   ;)

I see things in people everyday and relate them to the sims as apposed to relating the sims to people and their everyday activities.  "How funny is that", I say to myself.
