... when your 13 month old's babble sounds oddly familiar ... then it dawns on you: It sounds like Simlish!

When you actually know the real song through simlish song and believed that was a simlish song first.
When you hear it in somewhere you probably say: "Hey! I believe that I ever hear this in The Sims instead hey, I know who sing this song."

I insist on singing "We Bah Yoo" instead of "We Are Young". I like it a lot better. Same singer anyway, so what's the difference, right?

Right. I agree with you, because the music itself I believe was universal language :)
You don't even have to understand it just to enjoy it.
Actually there's several song that I love more when I hearing it in simlish.
One of them is "Is She Better" that was sung by Caitlin Hart.
When I accidentaly found that this has a real song too, I was so excited, I want to find out what's the meaning.
But, when I hear the real song. I was kinda disappointed with the content, it like it's more better if I don't know the lyric.
But, I do still love the songs though (simlish version).

So, maybe I can add:

You know you've played to much Sims when you actually prefer listening Simlish song better and enjoying it more than the real one  ;D

Ooh, I didn't know that was a real one - I haven't paid too much attention to the songs - only that my hubby pointed out one that he knew. I like that one :D

That is actually real, Chuckles! I never believed myself also until I found her website.
I don't know if it's allowed post it here or not. But, if I can't, Moderators feel free to modify/remove this post.
You can find her song here. You can preview the song too before you decide to buy it ^^

I love her song though as overall. I just don't like one word on her lyric :P
You'll understand when you hear it too.

The other song that I love is from He Is We - Happily Ever After. I love the both songs.
I want to write all song that I love in Simlish, but I haven't found any proper thread until now.
I'll be happy if I can found one.

Okay! Back to topic then :D

You know you've played too much Sims when your music playlist are all your favorite simlish songs!

That's right up there with hitting Shift-Ctrl-C when you should be pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del. I can't tell you how many times I've done that one. :P

Sometimes when I'm driving to work in the morning in my car I find myself humming the Sims loading song.

Datatat datatat... Daaaaaa-nanana Da-nana Na Na Na!

Don't get me wrong, I love The Sims 3, but I remember at a certain point there was so much stuff in the original The Sims, that I felt like I should buy a computer exclusively to run the first game and its expansions, a few of which I didn't really care.

So when it's time to stop creating EPs and start a Sims 4? When you run out of ideas? When there is a technology breakthrough? When the glitches pile up so much it's impossible to fix'em?

This topic is too much like the existing topic, so I'm going to merge them.  Also, please keep in mind that we're not going to discuss Sims 4 until there's an official announcement from EA and I don't think that's happening any time soon.  So, it needs to be strictly Sims 3 here.
