Sims 4 - Weird pictures, funny posts, or something new?

Right now, Caleb brings misery in my game. When he played with his cat with the laser pointer, Patches ended up with 'magmafied organs' which fortunately was cured by Don. Then Caleb took a shower, but broke it in the process. Good thing Don is both a vet and a handyman. Tsk, Caleb.

This probably isn't new but it's been such a long time since I've given my sim a bonsai tree. After sim finished shaping it this pile of... something... landed at his feet. It's not a rubbish pile although it does look like it. The texture is different as are the colors slightly. The only interaction that is available is 'throw out' so I'm just leaving it until I have a rubbish plant for my plant collection.

It's a bit weird though and I'm wondering if it is related to the whim that used to appear a lot in 2014/2015 to gather some twigs which apparently you could get from bonsai trees and harvesting, only back then you couldn't! (Link to thread where this is talked about)

@Playalot It usually happens when your Sim "over-trims" the bonzai. Sometimes they get a negative moodlet too which states they're unhappy with the erm...bald result.

Thanks @Nindigo  guess I've never had a sim badly trim a bonsai before. lol I keep hoping that the mystery of 'The Twigs' will be resolved one day.

Having way too much fun with vampy nightly visits in one of my games right now. Every night without fail for the last two sim weeks my sim has been drunk from by one of the large community of vamps.  Loving it!

Has it made our gorgeous Keon anemic? Has he had to increase his consumption of high-iron foods....Spinach Fritata?
Word is out that he has the Divinely Delicious blood (or whatever it's called)!

Jinxed myself @oshizu    last night had two vamps at the same time so Keon just got dazed and stood mesmerized in the corner while the two vamps chatted with each other and then left! I'm hoping this hasn't ended the vampy-visits for good.

Has anyone ever been invited to an empty house/apartment? I imagine, it's pretty common, but it's the first time it has happened to me & seems a bit odd. Travis was invited to Penny's apartment, and she wasn't there.
