Maybe I don't have the right television.
Sometimes, you need to move your mouse a bit after you enlarge the object.
What I did was this:
1. Click object with mouse.
2. Hold "Shift" button, then press the "[" or "]" button.
"]" will make the the object large.
"[" will make the enlarged object small. You cannot use this command to make items smaller than their original size.
On another topic, is there a way to stop or avoid getting overly buffed female sims? Someone mentioned in a thread somewhere about feeding sims sparingly and not let them finish their plate if the hunger bar is already filled, but sometimes, we can't really watch every single sim that eats while controlling others that do something else. So, my sims are being good and finish all their vegetables...and get fat. To the gym they go to trim the extra love handles and return home with big muscles. I've nothing against buffed females, I find them great to look at, but my sims just seem to look "dirty". Especially on their legs and calves. I'm thinking of not making them wear skirts or shorts anymore, which is a real shame.
