Rigel Duty: Epilogue (Part II)- One Kingdom (April 27) COMPLETE

Yay, congrats to Mira! Sirius is an absolute doll, hope he gets a brother or sister heir next time even though he won't be in the household.

Chapter 65- The Spares Profiles: Sirius

Hey! My name is Sirius Rigel. My Mom, Mira, is the current heir to the dynasty. Like her, I am a genie so I can't be the next heir. That meant that I had to literally and metaphorically grow up quickly. Mom thought that it would be a fun idea for me to sort of narrate what happened before I left the house so I don't end up as a blip on the dynasty history book. So, uh, here we go.

Here's me as a toddler. I was pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself.



I do have to say that I was pretty lucky that Mom and Dad did take care of me and not just age me up and then kick me out of the house.





As soon as I learned all of my toddler skills, I was ready to age up into a child.





Once I was a child, Great Grandpa Orion worked with me so that I would have good grades before I aged up. It was nice to be able to spend some quality time with the family this way.



Once that was over, it was time to age up again into a teenager.



And then it was back to tutoring.



And then, finally, I had reached my young adult birthday.





So here I am in all of my adultish glory.



My final traits were Slob, Grumpy, Absent-Minded, Genius and Kleptomaniac. Being from a rich dynasty family must have rubbed off on me because I decided that my lifetime wish was to be Living in the Lap of Luxury.




And, I'm back! It's Mira Rigel here with you once again. So, Sirius had to move out as soon as he was a young adult. This meant that Uriah and I could try again to bring in the final heir.



Just like before, my pregnancy went by pretty quickly and it was soon time to head to the hospital.





Uriah and I were pretty stoked to have a daughter this time. The only problem was that Virgo was also a genie and ineligible to become the next heir.



Since Virgo was a genieboo, we aged her up immediately.



Virgo was a miniature version of me, so you know she was just plain adorable.

Chapter 66- The Spares Profiles- Double the Fun

Hi, my name is Virgo Rigel and I am also a genie, just like my Mom and older brother, Sirius. Mom and Sirius told me about how Sirius got to write about his life since he is technically a part of this dynasty and thought that I might like to do the same thing. I said that I would give it a shot. So, I'll start back at the beginning. Here I am as a toddler. I looked a lot like my Mom.



Once Mom and Dad taught me all of my toddler skills, it was time for me to age up into a child. Great Grandfather Orion tutored me so that I would be able to get good grades before I grew up into a teenager.





I got to enjoy the rest of my birthday before it was time to age up again into a teenager. Once again, I worked with Grandfather Orion to get my grades up before growing up into a young adult.





One thing that I did appreciate was the fact that I would get to move out on my own and pursue whatever career or interests that I so desired. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do when I aged up, so I thought about it while I was changing my outfit to better suit me.



My final traits were Grumpy, Light Sleeper, Coward, Brooding and Couch Potato. I remembered learning about science with Grandfather Orion and thought that it was fun, so I decided that I wanted to become a Scientific Specialist.




Virgo left the house shortly after she aged up into a young adult. Uriah and I were sad to see her go but knew that it had to be done in order to move forward with the dynasty. I found out that I was pregnant again a short time after Virgo left.



Since this was going to be my third child, you would think that everyone would know what to do at this point when I went into labor. Nope. Instead, everyone panicked, as per the norm.



Uriah took me to the hospital while Granddaddy Pisces flailed about.



We had another baby boy. A baby boy who was a genie. We named him Libra.




Greetings! I am Libra and I am yet another spare. I don't want to sound like I'm bitter about it because I'm really not. In fact, I get to get out and get moving faster and I am able to do what I want without restrictions, which is nice. So, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

Here I am as a toddler. I am pretty darn cute.



My parents taught me all of my toddler skills before I aged up into a child.







Unlike my older sister, Virgo, I didn't look anything like Mom. I, for the most part, completely took after Dad.



Once the baby days were over, I was ready to grow up.



Great Gramps Orion taught me some stuff for school so I was have good grades. Either that or be a smarty-pants. Whichever works.





After learning all I could at the elementary school level, I moved on to high school. After I aged up into a teenager, of course.





And here I am as an old man. Gah! I blinked...



My traits were Virtuoso, Light Sleeper, Inappropriate, Bot Fan and Daredevil. I decided that I wanted to become a Hit Movie Composer.

Let's hope the next ones a heir then. Both Virgo and Libra are adorable, shame they couldn't stay longer.

Thankfully, getting the final heir didn't take as many attempts as it did to get Mira and Elara.


Chapter 67- The Little Lion

Once Virgo and Libra were out of the house, Uriah and I were able to try for the next heir. Again.



As per the norm, labor pains= loss of sanity.



You'd think that after three kids, Uriah would know what to do by now. Anyway, he had a brief moment of clarity and managed to take me to the hospital before I had the baby in the bathroom.



Uriah and I had another little boy this time. But, this time, he was a witch! This is Leo, the final heir to my Granny's dynasty.



Since Leo was our fourth baby, we had this whole parenting thing down pretty well so Leo's baby days went by pretty fast and it was soon time for his toddler birthday.



Dad brought him up to the cake.





And here is my little Leo. He looks a lot like me, the cutie pie.



We got started right away on working with Leo on his toddler skills.



Leo wasn't looking forward to it, though.



But he got the hang of everything really quickly, my smart boy.





Within a couple of days, Leo had all of his skills down pact. So, the next thing he needed to do was work on his two toddler skills. Now that was something he was looking forward to.



Or he was just looking forward to eating the pegs. Whatever works.



Dad, thankfully, clarified that the pegs were not for eating.



Leo, however, did seem to have more luck with the xylophone.



Dad also found a special doll and gave it to Leo. Leo named it Destiny.



While we actually got to enjoy seeing Leo as a toddler, those days, too, quickly came to an end and it was time for him to age up into a child.

He added the Excitable trait to the two he already had, which were Eccentric and Disciplined.

Good luck to Leo in completing his requirements, he is also a cute sim. I agree with Dontmindme those are some brilliant traits. 

I'm pretty sure I cheered out loud when I rolled those traits because they fit perfectly with the plan I had in mind for this generation's skills.

Chapter 68- Like Father, Like Son

Granddaddy Orion got to work with Leo on his school work so he could start off school with awesome grades. At this point, Granddaddy Orion had logged hundreds of hours of tutoring so he had it down to a science, no pun intended.



Leo wasn't going to start working on his skills and that until he was a teenager, so most of his childhood was spent playing around and having fun.



Besides hanging out with his dad and me, Leo also spent a lot of time with his friend, Destiny.



Leo passed through his school days with flying colors, no surprise there, and the last thing that he had to do before he could age up into a teenager was to complete his childhood requirement. He had his badging ceremony at the school at the end of the week and the whole family made it out to the event.



With that complete, it was time for Leo to age up into a teen.







Even though we couldn't see it, Destiny grew up right alongside Leo.



Here is teenage Leo.



He gained the Inappropriate trait. I guess all that time with Dad rubbed off on him...



After a quick lesson with Grandpa Orion, Leo was excited to finally start working on his skills.



I had to remind him that he needed to get his job application ready before he could begin working on his skills. While he was out of the house, Uriah and I took this opportunity to set up our birthday surprise for Leo.



We set up Leo's room to accommodate his birthday gift: martial arts equipment.



Leo was thrilled with this birthday gift from Uriah and me. In fact, he got started practicing immediately, which was a good thing because it definitely seemed like he was going to need to practice. A lot.



Or, maybe he's just taking after his father?





Leo did get the hang of everything pretty quickly and earned his yellow belt soon afterward. With this belt promotion, Leo could now start working on his board breaking skills.



I don't quite get how you can practice without a board or a target, though...





Soon enough, Leo moved on from board breaking to meditating.



Uriah was a little farther behind him concerning the belt hierarchy but that didn't stop him from challenging Leo to some sparring matches.

As much as I enjoy martial arts the constant sparring was the worst, lol. At least he's the last heir. I see Destiny may live up to her name

I'm actually a martial artist, so I don't mind watching them spar. Though, I do forget to keep track of how many matches they've done every once in a while, which is kind of annoying 


Chapter 69- And Then There Was One

Amazingly, Leo did part with his martial arts equipment once in a while to work on his teenage requirements. He got on the honor roll with little difficulty and was moving along on his job requirement. The last thing that he needed to tackle was his romantic interest requirement. There was a nice girl that Leo went to school with that he decided to ask to be his girlfriend.







Thankfully, she said yes.



Once Leo got his lady friend, he was complete with all of his teenage requirements. Since that was the case, he was ready to age up into a young adult.











Here is my little lion, all grown up.



His final trait was Genius. Not that I needed a trait to tell me that.



Well, now that Leo was a big boy, it was now his turn to take this dynasty to the finish line. As for me, I'm out

Hi, I'm Leo Rigel. According to my mom, I am the final heir in my Grandma's dynasty to bring peace to the kingdom. Yeah, I do admit that it was a lot of pressure. But, I am a very disciplined person so I knew that I would step up to the challenge, no matter what. Plus, I got to work out and continue my Sim Fu training as a part of my requirements. Really can't complain about that!

So, here I am doing what I do best: working out.



I signed up for a job but I didn't start my first shift the next day because I had my graduation ceremony that night.





Since I had the rest of the night off, Dad and I worked on our sparring skills.





The next day, I headed to the fire station to start my first day as a fireman. I was really looking forward to helping out the people of Monte Vista. I was able to find a great way to put all of my hard workouts to good use.







A short time later, I had worked out enough that I maxed out the athletic skill. Since I had already completed the martial arts skill, I completed my lifetime wish, Physical Perfection, at the same time. That was a great, great moment.
