Does anybody know of a mod that helps fix the bug from Into the Future that doesn't allow many opportunities?

I don't know one specific to fixing the opportunity bug, but NRaas' Master Controller will let you force one.  (Click on your sim, and it's found under Basic/Opportunity ... lists everything and you pick what you want.)

Thank you, Stellace! I'd prefer them to be random but if I don't find anything else I'll probably force them once in a while.

There is a More Frequent Opportunities mod from Bluegenjutsu over at TFM Sims Asylum (home of all the mods you could ever want...)

You have to register to download their stuff, I believe, but it's worth it.  Here's the description of the mod:

Greatly increases the frequency which you get opportunities. By default you get a new opportunity every 1 to 3 days (1 to 2 on vacation), while this mod changes it to every 0 to 1 day (1 to 1 on vacation). Days are measured by days of the week, not by exact 24 hour periods. So you might get a new opportunity as soon as you finish one, or at least by the end of the next day.

If you have Into the Future installed, I recommend Nikel23's Opportunity Phone call Fix. As the ITF patch broke the opportunity phone calls. This mod is available at ModtheSims.
