Sim won't go to work?

My Sim was in the singer profession, and it was going fine until now. Suddenly, if I tell her to perform a sing-a-gram, audition for a gig, or do anything related to her profession, the interaction will disappear seconds after I choose it, and my Sim doesn't move an inch.
I thought, 'No biggie', and changed to the film career. But the same thing happens. I choose to go to work, but the interaction disappears and she doesn't move.
I have one other Sim in the household who works. He is a fortune teller, and goes to work fine.
Please help me, this is getting really annoying now.

Try having her change into her work uniform before the carpool comes.  See if that works.

I found a different post with the same problem. The career outfit had become corrupted. I'm going to do what it says and edit the career outfit, and see if that works.

I had a similar problem with the corrupted career outfit. I changed it and she started going to work again.
