Omni plant seeds

Hi there,

I've been using Carl's website for playing The Sims 3 for a while now, but I've come across a problem and wonder if anyone can help me out.

My sim completed the final gardening challenge and received the Omni plant seeds, which she has planted etc. and I got her to order more straight away but they've never arrived and I can't order more until they do. How long are they supposed to take to get to the house, and how can I get more?

Oh, and how do I get the burger plant? I've tried cooking hamburgers but I can't get the plant option.

I can't answer the seed question - I've never re-ordered any omni plant seeds.

As for the burger plants though, just buy some burger patties from the grocery store - but don't cook them.  Just to to your garden and click on the burger patty in your inventory - you should get an option to plant.  Same as for the steak, egg and cheese.

In my experiences when ever I have ordered anything, seeds, books I have written, gems cut... they have always showed up the next day in the mailbox.  With the exception of Sundays. I am not sure why you have not received them yet. Good luck, hope you get them in the mail.

Welcome to the forum, JustMe. To get a Burger plant you buy some patties at the Grocery Store, click on the patties in your inventory and you'll see the Plant option.

As a follow-up to the seed question, I finally got around to ordering some omni plant seeds last night when I was playing.  The request was made on a Monday and I played three more Sim days and never received the seeds in the mail.

I have no trouble receiving cut gems - I normally receive those the very next day.  No seeds so far though.

The Onmi seeds are supposed to arrive the day after you order them.  What does the mailbox say when you click on it?

The mailbox still gave me the option to order seeds. I did that last night and, this time, the seeds came as expected the next day.  Go figure!

The order seeds option is inactive and I get a message that says seeds have been ordered and are on their way and to check back in a bit.

I tried moving house and ordering from the new mail box but they still haven't arrived.

Sorry, JustMe.  It sounds like you have a bad bug.  They are supposed to arrive the next day.

Yes, I think I do too. I will have to try it out in one of my other games and see if it's the whole thing or just that particular save file.

On an up note, got the burger plant growing and my Sim has now acheived all the gardening masteries :-)
