Dreamweaver 4 x 4 Dynasty - Chapter 7: A Little Girl Who Looks Just Like Me

Pam, I couldn't get a screenshot in full screen, but I used print screen in window mode to get a screenshot to transfer to photo bucket via paint. Complicated , I know, but it worked! The result is my new avatar.

Chapter 3 - A Beautiful Time of Day

Midnight’s pregnancy went well and she was a happy mother-to-be.  Connor was excited about becoming a new dad, too.



The baby and heir is a little girl named Twilight.  She started life loving both the heat and the cold.  I like those traits because she will be able to be outdoors as much as she wants, no matter the weather.





Infancy flew by and before they knew it, Connor and Midnight were having Twilight’s first birthday party.  The only person Midnight knew to invite was Connor’s brother, Jared.  It was the first time they had met during her one year marriage to Connor and it wasn’t pleasant.  He insulted Midnight and picked fights.  She tried to be funny with her good sense of humor, but Jared wanted no part of it.







Regardless of her uncle’s bad behavior, Twilight aged up into a delightful toddler who is the very image of her mother. 





In spite of the shortened time for a toddler on the medium lifespan setting, Twilight learned to walk, talk, and potty with no problem. 







Lulu the puppy aged up the day after Connor brought her home and Midnight taught her to hunt right away.  She’s an excellent hunter and immediately started bringing home expensive gems and metals, including woohooium, a pink diamond, and three soulpiece gems.  The first $10,000 expanded the house quite a bit, although everything in it is still cheap.  Two of the soulpiece gems haven’t been cut yet, so there’s still a lot of money coming.  Midnight consigns the finished gems at the Elixir Consignment Shop and gets quite a bit more than their normal value.







Jamie from across the street had a party and invited Connor, and he brought everyone but Misty with him.  Lulu got a chance to play with her mother, which was so cute.  It turns out that Lulu looks exactly like her mother with the exception of the brown on her torso.



There’s no dresser at their house, so Twilight had to put together her wardrobe while at Jamie’s house.  The color of her clothes is twilight.  Ha!  How about that!



Midnight is a wonderful mother.  Happiness radiates from her whenever she’s with her daughter.  Twilight is a pretty happy toddler, too.  As long as her needs are met, she’s great.







Connor sure does love this baby girl who doesn’t look anything like him.





They're so adorable together.  And this was the first time I realized Connor has gorgeous dark green eyes.

Author's note:  Could this chapter be any more boring?

This game being in the medium lifespan setting is proving to be a challenge in more ways than one.  I'm finding that, not only do I have less time to get things done, but the playing goes much faster than the writing.  I hope that my chapters don't lose depth because I have to skim over things.  Twilight is only two days away from teen and I've only just posted her toddler time!  Yikes!

I never get bored of cute toddler chapters! Twilight is so adorable, but definitely more Midnight than Connor.

I would've said the naming theme would be something to do with times of day (Midnught, Twilight, Dusk maybe?).

Twilight's a cutie, and Midnight and Connor make such great parents. I love your Dr. Who-inspired makeover of Connor (although I like the 11th just a little more than the 10th.)

Chapter 4 - A Sweet Time of Night

Twilight was able to read the first two art books with Connor, but aged up at the library before he could read the third one to her.  She’ll get a decent start on her painting career from the two books.



Twilight had a normal childhood.  No drama or problems.  Drat.  She was a cute kid and tried her best in school, but she just didn’t have enough time to reach an A.  It didn’t occur to me until too late that one of her parents could learn logic and tutor her.  Yeah, I have a master strategy in place.  Enjoy a few pictures of Twilight now.









It’s true that Midnight was pregnant in the pictures from the last chapter.  She had a baby boy this time.  Nightfall was born with the Disciplined trait because his mother didn’t get quite enough rest during her pregnancy this time.  I chose Loves the Heat for his second trait.  I like that they can stay outside as long as they want with the Loves the Heat and Loves the Cold traits.  He got his mother’s red hair and his father’s dark green eyes.  Let’s jump straight to his toddler pictures.







Because of Twilight’s grades, I wasn’t able to choose her fourth trait.  She turned out rebellious.  She might as well embrace that new trait with the appropriate clothing, hair, and eyeliner.



She’s not close to Nightfall yet, but she’s helping out with his care. 



In pet news, both Lulu and Misty are adults and are hunting their little hearts out.  Misty does it just for fun, but Lulu continues to bring in the big money.  Lots of soulpiece gems and a tiberium have set the family funds at around $150,000.



Misty needs to have some kittens, especially since she’s Baxter’s duplicate.  Meet the new kitten, Mister!  He’ll grow up soon and and will be a parent with Misty, hopefully.
