Twallan's Progression Mod
« on: August 10, 2014, 02:10:59 PM »
I'm really interested in the story progression mod that he has but I saw that he's no longer doing support for it.

With that into consideration is it okay to still download it and use it?

Also I read that you also have to download a framework mod into your folders before your packages will work.  Is this true?

In reverse order...

The framework isn't actually a mod. It is just a listing of potential subfolders and what priority to give them, but yes it does need to be there. See the "Creating a Mods Folder/Installing Mods Step by Step Guide" sticky thread in this section for directions.

Yes, it is true that Twallan isn't working on mods any more, but there is a community that has taken it over. The mods are just as safe as they ever were. At most, changes are a little slower due to the new people having to take the time to learn the code.

Twallan's Story Progression mod has been updated to the latest patch. It still works fine, and without issue. Seeing as how TS3 is in its final version, Twallan's mods will be safe to use forever.
