Last Venue of Amore
« on: July 24, 2014, 06:43:15 PM »
The set will normally go for 1900 SimPoints, but until August 10, 2014 it is available for 1700 SimPoints.

You can get it here:
Last Venue of Amore

Long ago, there was a beautiful city built on the sands of a charming ocean shore.  Sims often said it was built upon the love and passion of all those who resided there.  If only they also had built on a stronger foundation than sand since much of the city was swept away with the tides.  Love still stands, however, amongst the waterways and awe-inspiring architecture of this: the Last Venue of Amore.

There is one piece of Premium Content (which can only be bought with the Venue at the time of this posting)
Gondola of the Sinking City

Nothing says romance like floating down the canals of the Last Venue of Amore. Ride the waterways, basking in the rich history of this venue that time forgot, but whose love remains eternal.

Original post below:
It a bit bittersweet, but August will have the last set due out from the Sims 3 store.  There is no set name for it, but it is inspired by the Venice, and is supposed to have canal pieces.

Oh, I like that window!

I think once I'm done paying for wedding stuff, I may need to grab some simpoints and pick up the last few things I'm missing.

Hope you don't mind if I say congratulations on the wedding (whether it is already done, or upcoming) :)

Back on topic; well, there is no major rush.  They did say the Sims 3 store will be around for at least a couple years.  However, I would recommend to anyone to keep a rather exacting eye on how many SimPoints you may buy.  SimPoints won't be in use for the Sims 4; it would be bad to buy a large amount of SimPoints, and then have no use for them later down the road.

It's so funny, I'm in Italy right now and some of the architecture really is just like this.

Let's take a look into the cathedral of Amore.

I am a little disappointed that they put so much effort into those gorgeous cathedral pieces, but somehow forgot pews.

The gondola checking his watch while the couple woohoos on his boat made me chortle, though. ;D
