Raven is not the first bird to become a Representative
Hmm... Who could she be talking about? Will we ever meet that person? Yes, I overthink like that, and about stuff so unimportant.

Also, the chapter throws me off, Three More Birds? But there were only two, please explain.

Sorry I took so long getting back! Anyway, Aquila is the third bird, because her name means 'Eagle'. :) It could a be a bit before I have a new update, as I have not particularly felt like playing the Sims 3 lately. Also, I get to visit my home soon and won't have my saves while I'm there.

Wow, thank you! I'd really honored :)

Indeed! I'm very fond of both Shrike and Crow and don't know which one I'm going to choose for the heir. Though Shrike did randomly become insane, so she may have an advantage there.

The Suspicious Babysitter

So, you want to know the story of why you look like that? Okay, then. It's the story of a sim, based on a mii, based on a sim, based on a Bionicle. Do you follow?
I didn't follow. Who could follow? What is a 'mii' and a 'Bionicle' anyway? Why does she think that crazy sentence would make sense to anyone who even could follow it? So, I gave up trying to figure out why I'm so annoying. Anyway, that was the way my day started. Apparently Samantha's day didn't start very well either.

I'm pretty sure being abducted by aliens is better than having to talk to Medusa, though. I'd happily trade places any day.

When she got back from the alien abduction, we had to go to work. Apparently I already took time off and couldn't have more and Samantha really wants to get back to working on her dream of being a surgeon or something. So we called a babysitter.

I don't really trust that babysitter. She looks like a shady character. Forget being a jack of all trades, I'll take as much time off of work as necessary to avoid the creepy babysitter coming back. Crow and Shrike are young and must be protected from creepy, green-eyed babysitters.
And you call me crazy.
How does she even know? I think Medusa bugged my lot. Or my phone. Or something. At rate, she always seems to be listening in. It's really disturbing, actually. Also, I wish she'd stop calling. Life would actually be easier if she was telepathic. Then I wouldn't have to answer my phone all the time.

You could just ignore me.
But then you'd call Samantha and she'd have to talk to you. And we don't need everyone in this house holding onto sanity by a thread!
Ah, it's okay. You're already insane and so is Shrike. She'll be a good heir.
Well, maybe it'll be Crow. And I thought I said that my sanity is a touchy subject!
I'm going to hope for Shrike. You can't tell me you want someone who isn't crazy to take over after you're gone?

Anyway... Medusa's conversations usually make my head hurt. But I had my birthday and that was kind of nice and fun. I've never had a birthday before. You don't get them as a plastic bird attached to the wall. Samantha was very nice and stayed around to celebrate even though she was about to go to sleep.

Which reminds me, I told her that she should have her birthday when she was supposed to instead of later and she said no. So I didn't really argue because she wasn't going to change her mind. Ah well, apparently someone Medusa knows is making her let this go anyway. Thank you, mysterious person I'll probably never meet.

I've been working on teaching Shrike to talk. It is a valuable life skill that I am sure she will appreciate having. I don't know, for the short time she's a toddler and able to talk? Anyway, I'm sure its important.

Samantha has been teaching Crow. He's learning well too. Don't worry, little Crow and Shrike, very soon you will be children! And then go to school and stuff... um. I don't actually know what that's like. Plastic birds also do not attend school. Anyway, hopefully all will be well and we'll never have to see the creepy babysitter again.

This time, Crow got to have his birthday first. I don't know if they really care who ages up first. I don't think I would, but I'm not them.

He immediately proceeded to sell every painting in the house and then go off to change his clothes. Crow is kind of a strange child. But at least he's still sane! I think.

Shrike went next. She also seemed very displeased with her hair and outfit and went off upstairs to use the mirror and dresser after Crow. I have yet to deal with this aging-up-outfit-and-hair curse. It doesn't seem fun.

Well, I decided that frankly, if Samantha and I are going to be able to achieve our life's goals and have our children be well educated and whatever else it is that children as supposed to be, we needed some help!

So I asked my scary, bald co-worker who is now old to move in. For some reason, he actually agreed. Maybe it was because he could immediately retire from being a science person. Or because he lives with that creepy vampire Sarah Holden and wanted to escape.
You realize he supposedly captured her, right?
Well, she probably wasn't a creepy vampire back then.

I really need to go back to work. I've got to earn some more money so we can make Crow and Shrike their own rooms. Well, Samantha needs to go to work even more, cause she makes a lot more money than I do. I do wish that Shrike didn't dress quite so... insanely. Sanity is an important quality around here!

Shrike gained the Over-Emotional trait, while Crow gained Can't Stand Art

I love how over-protective Raven (the Human) is for his kids. It just makes him cuter. I also like to think about how it's technically my fault that he has to deal with Medusa, considering I came up with the idea for him to do a legacy. Oh well, I don't care, this legacy is awesome.

I don't know Raven, with a name like Shrike, it's not surprising she would dress so 'insanely'. However I am a little scared with her staring at me.

But origin stories YAY!! Bionicles were the staple of my childhood (I only had one though so it's a small staple). Raven is a bit of a push over when it comes to Samantha but he makes a awesome dad. Can't wait to see more.

I love how you showed Crow's trait.

It was quite amusing, as soon as he aged up he immediately wanted to sell paintings! So he did.

LOL!  Oh Raven... How I love thee!  And I love Shrike's outfit!

I had a lot of fun making all of Shrike's outfits. She probably dresses more oddly than any of the Sheos ever did. Except maybe Mania.

He may not thank you, but I do! I'm enjoying playing this legacy a great deal! It's a nice change from an immortal dynasty so it's nice to switch between this and the Price family.

Shrike does have quite the intimidating stare! Bionicles were a big part of my childhood, so many of my sims are based on them... I'm not even sure how much sense it makes, but it works for me :)

At the moment, I am still on vacation without my screenshots, but soon I will return to my gaming computer and be able to update again! I meant to bring some so I could while I was away, but I managed to completely forget. Anyway, thank you all for the comments and I really look forward to getting back to playing and continuing the story! Which hopefully will be kind-of story like.

Chapter 5: Aquila's Meeting

Well. I really don't have much to talk about at the moment. So instead I'll just put in some pictures of Shrike and Crow! And their nice, new rooms!

Crow likes orange. And apparently skulls. So that's what he has in his room. He even dreams about how much he hates art, apparently. I wonder why he hates it so much.

On the other hand, Shrike likes this weird color called spiceberry. I have no idea why its called that. Anyway, also she likes stone and spiders. And someone forgot to get her bed changed so it's that weird light color with a flower-pattern. Ah well, I want to save up and buy less cheap beds soon anyway! Then everyone can stop whining about them.

Then I had to let the go to their first day of school. Also, I had to go back to work. I hope that school is fun for them. It didn't seem fun based on my dynasty observations. Lots of homework and the occasional fieldtrip. Well. That's about it. I shall continue with my completely not crazy and totally logical plan for vengeance!
______________________________________________

You may remember me. Aquila, Avatar of Valor, long-time resident of Isla Paradisio. Also, not very happy with Medusa sneaking out of her duty like she did.

Since there's not much I can do one my own, I called a meeting. At Medusa's eyesore of a boathouse while she was off somewhere. Seriously, this boathouse does not belong in Isla Paradisio, as much as she thinks it does. Anyway, for various reasons, I have included a transcript of the meeting that I held in Raven the Raven/the Human/Nguyen's file. Here it follows:

Mr. Crow Nightmare (Agent of Evil, left): Oh, goodie. I'm on a houseboat.
Moltor Baraki (Representative of Cooking, right): You aren't going to start a fight, are you? Because that always seems to happen when you're around. Could you maybe just go back to Sunset Valley?

Miratrix Price (Avatar of Charisma): Please, let's keep things calm. Obviously we wouldn't be here if this weren't important. So what is it, Aquila? Also, why is there an empty seat over here?
Aquila Falcon (Avatar of Valor): Oh, that. I called Thanatos too. But apparently he's off doing an immortal dynasty and we have no idea when he'll be back.
(Note: Thanatos Price, Avatar of Death, is currently living in Dragon Valley, where is he is, in fact, attempting an Immortal Dynasty for no real reason. Also, he has no relation to Miratrix Price whatsoever)

Aquila Falcon: What's important is that Medusa has replaced herself and moved to my city. Thus this houseboat.
Miratrix Price: Ah. I was wondering about that. How dare she go cause this chaos?

Moltor Baraki: I don't know. I've always been happy in Monte Vista. Why would Medusa want to leave her town?
Mr. Crow Nightmare: Yeah. I was enjoying myself in Sunset Valley! It's a lovely place.
Moltor Baraki: I suspect the townsfolk are happy you're gone for a bit.
Mr. Crow Nightmare: And I'm sure they miss me greatly.

Miratrix Price: So what can we do about this? I mean, if she replaced herself, it's not going to be easy to send her back.
Moltor Baraki: Well... what do we know?
Aquila Falcon: She turned a plastic bird into a person and tricked him into taking her place. Since he's mortal, though, he'll only be her replacement for a while, and then one of his children will have to take over. And so on.
Miratrix Price: Well, the accumulating legacy points thing would work for this. It's the simplest option, as there's nothing Medusa can really do about it.

Moltor: But that is kind of a slow answer. Really slow.
Mr. Crow Nightmare: Well, from my experience, fighting usually solves just about all problems. Therefore, we should do that!
Miratrix Price: What?

Moltor Baraki: That's a terrible idea that solves nothing!
Mr. Crow Nightmare: And your name is stupid.
Moltor Baraki: Did we have to invite the evil, inappropriate, mean spirited, insane guy?
Mr. Crow Nightmare: Of course. It's just not the same without me.

Medusa Gorgonzola (former Representative of Madness): Ah, home... wait a second, what are all of you doing in my house? And where did all those chairs come from?
Aquila Falcon: I had to call a meeting because of your behavior. And telling them to met a the one place that looks like it doesn't belong in the city was easiest.

Medusa Gorgonzola: Well. That was rude. Please leave. Although actually, I really don't mind seeing most of you. Hi, Miratrix!
Miratrix Price: Nice to see you again. But why must you always be causing trouble?
Medusa Gorgonzola: You should understand! You're crazy too, right? Don't you even just want to get out and see the world?
Miratrix Price: I suppose we should be going.

Moltor Baraki: Thank you for not minding that we had a meeting in your house. I really appreciate it.
Medusa Gorgonzola: Ah, it's alright. Besides, Miratrix and Mr. Crow are both insane just like me, so I'm always happy to see them. And you're just a nice person.
Moltor Baraki: Thanks. I think. Well, we shall be going and leave you be.
(End of Meeting Transcript)

So obviously, my meeting didn't turn out very useful. And Medusa was very upset with me. So she ranted about things that make my brain hurt trying to understand. I guess they made perfect sense to her, but she's crazy.

I really didn't enjoy it one bit. It was pretty creepy, actually. Why, oh why, did she have t move to my town? She could have gone anywhere! Miratrix wouldn't have minded her in Bridgeport and Mr. Crow probably would have enjoyed her crazy company in Sunset Valley.

Eventually, I did get her to calm down and I apologized for the whole meeting thing. Maybe having it at her house wasn't the best idea. But really. It was the easiest place to locate. It stands out.

The others are sticking around for a little longer, as I invited them to, so I guess I'll just have to meet with them again and we'll hopefully be able to come up with something. Plus, there are still a few more I'm hoping will take the time to come and help figure this out. Otherwise, I'm stuck hoping that Raven and his descendents can send Medusa back. And I'm going to have to put up with her for a long, long time.

Hmm... Nice storyline for this, and I looove how well you connected the dynasty to the legacy.

Just curious, could you tell me where all the avatars reside? And also, what town did Thantos watch over. And is he invading somebody else's area, if so, who is watching his old home? And who is Avatar of Death while he's on a dynasty leave?

Hopefully some of these questions will be answered in the very next update! Which is also about the Avatars/Representatives/Whatever-they-want-to-call-themselves. As for the Avatars, I think I shall add a note at the beginning about them to help keep them from getting really confusing. Currently, there is:

Miratrix Price, Avatar of Charisma - Lives in Bridgeport
Mr. Crow Nightmare, Avatar of Evil - Lives in Sunset Valley
Moltor Baraki, Avator of Cooking - Lives in Monte Vista
Aquila Falcon, Avatar of Valor - Lives in Isla Paradisio
Raven Nguyen, Avatar of Madness - Lives in Midnight Hollow
Thanatos Price, Avatar of Death - No assigned home, but currently resides in Dragon Valley
Medusa Gorgonzola, Former Avatar of Madness - supposed to live in Midnight Hollow

So hopefully that is useful! :)

Chapter 6: A Gathering of Avatars

Transcript of the arrival of more Avatars on Isla Paradisio:

Blue-Haired Man: So... is this Isla Paradisio?
Pink-Haired Woman: Well, I think so. Took a while to get here.
Blue-Haired Man: Dragon Valley is nicer. I want to go back.
Pink-Haired Woman: I know, but Aquila said this was important.

Pink-Haired Woman: So let's just find a place to stay until morning. Then we can find Aquila.
Blue-Haired Man: Okay. Park benches! Perfect!
Pink-Haired Woman: Indeed.

End Transcript.

When I called the meeting, there were a few Representatives that I asked to come, but doubted would actually make it. Cotton Sariko was one of those. Apparently I was wrong, though, because when I went to the park, there he and his sister were. Though I can't help but wonder why they chose to stay in the park. There are lots of places they could go. Like the fire station.

They were busy brooding and didn't notice me at first, but then Cotton's sister finally did. It's been a long time since I've seen either of them, since they don't like to leave Dragon Valley.

She apologized for arriving late, so I had to assure her that it was alright. Cotton and Candy Sariko are a strange pair. They are both prone to brooding or freaking out about things. Cotton is the Representative of the Arts, while Candy isn't one of us. I hadn't really expected them to come, as I said, which is the main reason I invited them. They can be tough to deal with.

Cotton told me that they were happy to come and help. Especially since Thanatos is living in their town at the moment and they find that a little odd, since you don't normally have more than one Avatar in the same town for more than a week or so. Though at least he's not half as annoying as Medusa because since he technically has no town of his own, he can go wherever he wants and there's nothing to be done about it.

Well, even if they are kind of strange, at least they will also be able to help come up with a solution. Because it's still looking unfortunately like I'm going to be depending on that poor Raven Nguyen to send Medusa back home.

They claim that their brooding is helping them think. I'm skeptical, but we'll see. If they can help at all, it'll be good. Especially since they bothered to come all the way here, when they stand out anywhere but Dragon Valley.

Transcript of the arrival of the Avatar of Dawn:

Taxi Driver: So... where are you from, anyway?
Avatar of Dawn: Somewhere far away. You've probably never heard of it.
Taxi Driver: Oh. Okay then. Well, here is that strange houseboat that appeared recently.
Avatar of Dawn: Thank you.

Avatar of Dawn: Wow, when Reaper 2 said this houseboat was out of place, he really meant it. Now... I hope being a day late isn't too much trouble.

Medusa: What, another of you? Why is Aquila getting every single Representative who isn't busy to come and figure out how to make me go back to Midnight Hollow? Why? How am I even supposed to remember who all of you are? There are like... six of you or something by now.
Avatar of Dawn: So I take it that Aquila isn't here? I'm looking for her.
Medusa: Well, not now. She'll probably show up since you're here. Oh, by the way, it's nice to see you again, Eos. Excuse me. I'm going to go make a phone call.

Medusa: Now what was Raven the Raven's number? Or did he go and change it again? Ah well. I'll figure it out sooner or later. I'll be inside if you want to talk, Eos.
Eos, Avatar of Dawn: Alright. I'm going to wait for Aquila.

End Transcript

Well, I have no clue why Eos came. I didn't even invite her. But I guess the more the merrier? At least she's a genius, maybe she'll be able to figure this out while the rest of us are struggling with the problem. So I greeted her and asked why she was there.

Apparently, when I called Thanatos and asked him to come, one of the Reapers decided to contact her and ask if she would go instead. Eos is Thanatos's sister. I think. I've never actually asked, but I'm pretty sure they're related somehow. Maybe cousins? Anyway, the point is she came to help since Thanatos is busy. Like Thanatos, she isn't tied to any town as she lives in the land of the Reapers.

I explained the problem and she immediately headed off to the library. Apparently she's hoping to find something relevant there. I guess it doesn't hurt to try looking. I should probably get back to trying to figure out things myself. But first, I'd better apologize to Medusa for sending people to her house. And also ask if I can use it for my next meeting, whenever that is.

For the time being, I hope my town survives being overrun with Representatives from all over the world.

Thank you, for the most part, that answered my questions. Nobody mentioned who the current Avatar of Death is while Thantos is on Dynasty Leave, but my guess is it's the Reapers and Eos taking over.

I hope that Crow isn't the heir. That would be confusing between Crow and Mr. Crow for example.

Aquila: Secretary, call Crow.
Unnamed Secretary: Which Crow?
Aquila: Representative of madness.

Not saying she has a secretary. But that's just an example.
