how do I get scones
« on: July 18, 2014, 03:25:02 AM »
I rarely use any cooking skills (just not my thing) but I've been reading about the scones and jam, and I really like the idea.  I have just bought the old mill set so I can make jams, but I have no idea how or where to get scones.  Can anyone let me know?

I am not sure, since I have not used it, but I can tell you that with the bake shop stuff you couldn't make everything unless your cooking skill was high enough.  So you may need to raise your cooking skill.

I had trouble finding the scones option at first too.  But after playing around with it for a bit, I eventually stumbled upon the scones.  So, after making the jams from the canning station (they will show up in your Sim's personal inventory), click on the jar and it will have the option of "Eat with Scones" or "Eat with Toast".  The Sim doesn't cook anything on the stove, the scone just pops out of their pocket and onto the counter and they begin to put the jam on the scone.  It's a great quick meal that fills the Hunger bar well and it gives the "Good Meal" moodlet :)

Oh, Thanks for the info.  I clicked on the jars once but only got the toast option.  Maybe I didn't have the jam, possibly preserves...  I'll try it again.  Enjoy.
