How do you "pollinate" a town?
« on: July 16, 2014, 12:42:24 PM »
I'm playing a dynasty and I know eventually viable spouses will disappear.  I've taken in a male polinator but not sure how to go about making various females try for baby with him.  It took him days to even get a girlfriend and try for baby at his house.  Is it always at "his" house?  My Sims are always faithful so truly don't know how to go about seducing as many females as possible.  Will any Sim just be willing to be his romantic interest when he already has one?

I almost never bother to bring the mothers over to the house. I found it easier to have a male sim visit them instead, probably because my dynasty house was decently big while the houses in town weren't. The only exception was if the mother lived in a house without a double bed or a shower (I don't know if any houses in Union Cove have that issue, but plenty in Twinbrook have no places to woohoo).

As for getting romantic interests, you can get nearly any sim to be a romantic interest even when you have one or several already. You do have to worry about them being accused of cheating, though.

There are a couple of Lifetime Rewards that will also help, Joria.  There's Master of Seduction for 15,000 points which will make all romantic interactions successful, and No Jealousy for 10,000 points.

Thanks you guys!  I've got Master of Seduction for James and just waiting for some more LTR to get No Jealousy.  One lady already pregnant but I just feel horrible doing that.  My loyal and faithful personal traits and sense of morality get in the way.  I just might wind up with JD marrying her, especially since she is such a sweet lady.
