Pictures in digital frames disappear. Why?

Why do the pictures from either your phone or camera eventually disappear when you put them in digital frames and is there anyway to make them visible again?

Second question:  Is an IF always the same sex as the child it was given to?

I've had pictures in digital frames disappear, too.  Sometimes they come back after restarting the game and sometimes they don't.  I guess it's just glitchy.

As for invisible friends, the gender will be random unless you change the name of the doll.  You can click on the doll in the inventory, select Change Name, and you'll have the option to choose a male or female name.  That will lock in the gender of the invisible friend.
