I think I just cleared up an issue making members unable to access profiles and other things. It might have fixed Tapatalk, too..

Edit: but anything not fixed will wait until Monday. It would be better for me to focus on the new server rather than spend time fixing things here. I would still like to know of any issues, however it is more important to ensure a smooth transition to a server that won't have these problems. Monday may be by definition, as in 12:01AM if I can, but if not, early that day. If things are bad enough, I may do it sooner, but I'd prefer to have everyone know ahead of time.

Thanks Carl.  Your efforts are very much appreciated.  I'm having computer issues of my own, so I was unsure when I saw a problem here.  Nothing to worry about.  I'm grateful.

Right now, I can't access my bookmarks. Instead the 'Unable to load main template' showed up. It also showed up when I enter the unread replies and PM page. Is that the cause of this problem?

I was on a internet hiatus for a few months, and I came back to this when trying to catch up on my unread posts.  Hopefully it gets fixed soon!! Thanks Carl for everything you do on here!!

Welcome back, Esther.

I have been working on the new server today, and it's gone very well. Much easier and faster than I anticipated. I may transfer address tomorrow so that people can again use other sections of the site. If somehow a problem persists after the move, I will be in a better place to fix those issues.

I did not want to do this until the Server was done, but I've accomplished plenty today to make me think it's safe to transfer tomorrow/Sunday and just get it over with so things will be back to normal. I will need to work with mail/etc. and that will be easier to do when the Forum is on the new server.

I just got an email from Twinmum, who among other reporters, has told me that she could not access the Forum for 3 straight hours today. The main_above template wasn't loading. I am going to rip off the bandaid and get this thing moving tomorrow now that the new server is ready and already filling requests for carlsguides.com. Given all the problems, I'd rather move fast than wait. I couldn't know just how bad it was, given I have been focused on the new one today. So... we're moving tomorrow. I'm getting some sleep then starting it around 10AM EST.

I thought I should tell you that this happens whenever I try to see the new replies to my posts page.
