Pictures to Paintings: How?

How do you use a picture taken with the phone and make it a painting?  Same thing for camera.  How do you use one of the pictures and change them into paintings?  I don't mean using the digital frames, that doesn't last and can't be made big enough.

With your cell phone or smart phone, you have to pick the option "Memorize scene." Then, if your sim is a level 8 painter or above, when he starts a painting, you'll get the option "Paint from memory." As far as I know, this only works with the cell phone or smart phone; the cameras from World Adventures don't have the option.
