Sim has food stuck to her?

Hi there!
Everyone on this site seems to be so helpful, so I hope you'll be able to help me too! :)

I think one of my Sims ate some glitched food, because now the plate is stuck around her wrist almost like a bracelet. When I click on the plate it shows the food, and it gives me the option to "Clean up." When I click that she will wash the dish by hand, but the dish will still be around her wrist. I've tried changing outfits but the dish is still there. Is there a way to fix this without losing my Sim?

Hmm, have you tried the resetsim cheat yet? Because that usually works for most people.
