I Got a Major Update

When I was about to play the game, it asked me if you wanted to update the game and I clicked Yes. So then when I played the game, that's when everything happened. Ghosts can now walk through objects, you can edit your roof (not really sure about this one), you can make a real basement, and when you hover your cursor over a bed or something it will show a picture and how good it is. Example, the bed would have the picture of the moodlet for the good night sleep and then it would have +'s beside it saying on how good it is.

That's all I figured out so far.

Sounds like the 1.6/1.7 update which on the whole is very good, but there may be some problems with existing games doing strange things for example food not lasting in the fridge and plants no longer needing watering.

Yeah, if you experience any bugs with the patch, most of them can be rectified by going to edit town, saving any households/buildings you have worth saving, then starting over, placing your households back where they were through edit town again.

One thing to note though: The patch won't work with most grocery store/shop mods, and won't work with ANY core mods I know of.

On the positive side, the patch is like a mod in itself. It brings, like you said, the ability to put stuff on your roofs, but also a couple other neat features such as an auto-fertilizer option. If you don't have any mods, the patch is TOTALLY worth downloading, if you have a lot of mods(like I did) you should consider it, and look into other mods, but overall, I think it's certainly worth downloading.
