Also, if you click on Advanced on the left when looking at the gallery, you'll see something that is ticked saying "Include Unowned Content."  My assumption is if you untick it, you won't see creations that contain anything you don't own.

I also just tried to get a sim with a CC shirt on.  When she appeared in my create a sim window, she had only her bra on.

However, I could still see her with the Include Unowned Content not ticked.  But I think the people that are doing this type CC are replacing one of the existing presets on an EA piece of clothing.  So while I own the tank top that she was wearing, I didn't have that preset.

Thanks Grimsoul and Playalot. I definitely think I will make more videos this time around. The sims, even though cartoony, look much better while emoting.

Just curious, can you create a child for same sex sims in CAS?

I'm not sure. In the demo creating a child is not shown. However, in this IGN video Graham Nardone shows of the genetics in sims 4, and I think it shows that you can choose both a male or a female to mix with the male he has as main parent (check around 1.13 into the video).

As I said, I don't think it's something that has been confirmed, but from what I saw here I think it might be possible.

I hope so. I want to be able to move my RP character to Sims and she's a lesbian demigod.

I've been sharing all the sims I've been making because I thought the only way I could get them into my game once it's released, is to have them on the exchange. Did I get this wrong? Does anyone know?  :-\

I would hazard a guess and say that as long as you just save them, they will be available in your own games. The gallery, I think, would only be for those you want to share.

I tested this out the other day, by downloading a male sim wearing a CC T-shirt. The shirt didn't seem to transfer with him - instead, he showed up topless, haha. I can't confirm whether this will always be the case, though, or that it won't have affected my game in some way.

There's CCshowing up already?   :(  I certainly hope when the game is released, that there is an alternative to sharing our sims and buildings away from the Gallery. Something so we can have something like the Swap Shop, where we know there will be no CC.

We could ask that people who use #carlsguide only use it for items without cc. It also seems to me that there's a button on the gallery that eliminates cc when you download something. If it works, that would be great.

I was just wondering if someone could tell me where to find the earrings , hats and glasses in the accessories . All I seem to find are socks , legging , rings , gloves and bracelets . Sometimes the sims you get to work with is wearing a necklace and I don't know how to take it off . lol I can see that I still need to learn a few tricks .

You need to click on the head. The accessories that come up when you're working on the face are the hats, earrings, glasses, and necklaces.

Oh , so you mean that they won't show up when you click on the accessories icon then . I was clicking there while I was dressing my sim .

Accessories that go on the head are found under the accessory menu that is visible when you have clicked the head, accessories that go on the rest of the body are found under the accessory menu that is visible when you clock on the body.

It took some time getting used to but is actually pretty nice, since hair and makeup also only can be accessed when you click the head. It's a great way to dress a whole look when you switch between looks.

I guess it makes sense this way . I was just used to dressing my sim in TS3 and then choosing earrings and or necklace . I like the way this new one works , this way we can choose different makeup for different outfits easier than before . Thanks for your inputs !  :)

I know, it's always hard to get used to a new way of doing things. But I like it. Also, it makes the category less cluttered (and the new filters help even more!).
