Can't use canning station

I'm having a problem with the canning station - and the tea set.

When I make my sims have tea they go through the motions to pour the tea and drink the tea ... then they just pop up.  No standing up animation, just sitting to .. standing.

With the canning station, I can't make it work.  I put three apples in the canning station's inventory.  I click on the 'make jam' or 'make preserves.'  The sim approaches the canning station, and then the action vanishes from the queue and the sim no longer tries to interact with the oven.  This happens in my old game as well as a brand new one.

I have tried downloading the Sims3 Store Fix 11 (http://www.mediafire.com/download/g70jp4il18vip2t/Sims3+Store+Fix+11.rar) in both packages and overrides ... did not work.  I have tried downloading a file for the canning and tea set only (http://www.mediafire.com/download/f78r6y2r2j45jzk/canning_tea-fixes.zip) ... which also did not work.

I haven't tried the corn or cucumbers yet so I don't know if I'm having an issue with those.  Can someone help?

Am I the only one with these glitches?  Hopefully so, lol.  Irksome, but good news for everyone else.

I've just downloaded this set & mine work fine, sorry hope you get yours sorted. Have you tried deleting it & re installing it, just a thought

Yeah, I've uninstalled *everything* and am now in the process of reinstalling games and such.  Hopefully it works.  :/
