Will need bossman confirmation on this.  My opinion is that you can go into build mode and add the arboretum on a community lot, when you are done the empty lot will change to the arboretum icon.

Do whatever you want with the 5 lots, so that is my thinking I can do that.  Bossman, opinion?

Agreed. Players basically have almost no restrictions at all on their five lots.

This was the reply to my asking about placing the arboretum rabbit hole if that's any help. I got the impression from that it was fine to alter a lot as long as it comes under your five lot allowance.

Congrats Marian   :D

I failed mine last night, I could have sworn I did a painting each of the last three drones to move out but there's one missing, I can't find it so I must have imagined I painted it, even marked it off on the spreadsheet as done which is why I thought he could move ::)

If I start over I think I might try and pace myself a bit better, trying to wrangle eight sims at a time who are all skilling and working is too much for my addled brain it would seem  :-[

Hey you all! Oh wow, it has taken me 4 sim weeks just to get to RD#1!!! But now I have a question: RD means the right to "try for baby" but I have to wait until the baby is born to see how many babies there are so I can know how many Clon Vouchers I can have, so: what happens in those 3 days that a pregnancy lasts? I know mom can't work while pregnant, but can dad work on his new job? Can they both work on their skills? Can they make a new best friend? Or should they wait till the baby is born to do all that?

Tandrael, they can work on their job and skills as long as they don't reach level 10 of the job or compete a skill challenge. If they do, then that job or challenge can't be counted for the next RD. The same goes for any best friend or lifetime reward.

Thanks Marian, so it's as if those 3 days the Sim is pregnant are like part of the same RD... I was afraid because my Sim maxed a skill, but what I have to be carefull with are the skill challenges.

With regards to the Writing Skill Challenges, and in particular the 'Specialist Writer' challenge which changes title based on which genre you've written the most of, would I be correct in assuming that for the purposes of unique skill challenges for RDs that Specialist Fiction Writer = Specialist Romance Writer = Specialist Masterpiece Writer etc and so forth, so I can't, for example for one  RD have the king become firstly a Specialist Fiction Writer, then write enough Romance books to become a Specialist Romance Writer  and then the next RD have the king write enough Masterpiece books to become a Specialist Masterpiece Writer and have them count as unique skill challenges.

Thank you

You are correct.  All the specialist writer types falls under one unique skill challenge only.

Are clones need? I want to keep my queen and king in their rainbow slider, they are both genies and go blue when I return them to occult state. I'd just prefer natural born children instead, doesn't matter to me how long it takes to complete this challenge  ;), and want it to be a complete genie takeover only.

You don't need to use clones. I used a limited number and took my time. It's just the way I prefer to play. My file took a really long time to load by the end though.

Ok thanks, I really don't like using the bottled genie elixir  :(
