I'm now focusing on Sports books, and no I haven't bought that LTHR, because I forgot about it, or something. Thanks for reminding me about it.

I just got the message about my male founders adult birthday, I haven't even got my first batch of kids out the house yet, taking me longer with one generation that it took Nutella to do the whole thing  :-[

Anyway it made me realise that without some kind of life extension I don't think I will manage this with my Aliens, was there ever a definite ruling on that? I know it got mentioned in the workbench thread but I don't remember ever seeing a decision either way.

Since there's no mention of life extension in the rules, I'm assuming it's okay. But, hey, what do I know. I use long-lived fairies.

Life extending tricks are fine.

Has there been a decision about whether gnome tombstones are considered eligible for a collection of gnomes?

So far we have 2 members saying "no" to the gnome tombstones, waiting for the rest of the team to chime in.

:P Turoskel.  What profession / career you are doing with your founder that is taking so long?  Or is it the masterpiece portraits that is slowing you down?

Honestly it's just my poor management, I started off okay with them both doing alchemy but once the twins arrived plus the two clones it all went to pot, my own fault as I should have just aged them up fast and got them out but I let myself get carried away with toddler training and school, then they all wanted to go to prom so I left them a couple more days, then it seemed sensible to wait till friday night so graduation was on the weekend, all these little things add up to a lot of wasted time on kids who will be gone anyway, I should have just put my efforts more on my founders  ::)

Thanks for the info on life extension, I may or may not start over now that I feel I have a better idea of where I should put my priorities, and yes the masterpieces are holding me up a little too, got one of the clones plus mum painting but still two short, I usually expect a few restarts as I find my feet, was no different with the other dynasties.

This is quite different though, feels less like the long haul style of immortal dynasty and more like a much longer baby boomer challenge, didn't do too great in those either  ;D

Am I able to move my founders to another house in Bridgeport? The penthouse is proving quite small. :)

Also, my founders finally maxed writing career.

Moving is fine, as long as you stay in the same neighborhood / world.

I don't think this issue has been addressed in the rules. What should you do if one of your drones dies after moving out?

If at any point you mouse over the homes in the neighborhood in edit town and you see that a previously occupied home is now empty (due to a drone death), then the only choice I see available is to move in another drone. The challenge is not done until all homes are occupied.

This isn't my day, lol -- I need 2 more gnomes and another drone. I didn't expect any of them to die; there are still original townies alive.

Why not switch collection?  Instead of collecting gnomes, maybe pick wildflowers or butterflies?
