I'm going to have to start over.  I didn't have aging on.  I had checked, and it looked like it was on and set to normal, but it wasn't on.   

Anyways, here's a picture of Carla making jam!



Hopefully it will go faster the second time around, since now I know that for the skill challenges she needs "serve [meal]" and not "have [meal]."  (I just wanted to waste less food.)

I don't know if it was or not.  Maybe it was.  I just never knew if that "recipes prepared" meant unique recipies rather than repeats, or if family size meals as opposed to individual portions.  I'm not good at this stuff.  lol

Either way, I finally actually read the guide here, and learned the trick about making tons of autumn salad.

Yeah, I'm very glad I didn't get to far into it before having to start over.  It's easy to start over now, because I haven't gotten too far.  Further along, and I'd just want to quit (and maybe start fresh with a new founder).

Man that sucks! But I second what Malley said about it being easier since you're only on Gen 1! Good luck on your second start!

I know, right? 

The thing is I never play with aging off.  I had only turned off because I was trying to create a family for someone who was populating a world, so I wanted the family to have skills before uploading them.  (I still need to finish skilling them up.)
