I love Mo's room, it really is fitting for a princess.  I wonder what were the grandmas talking about?

O.K. my now generationally bedroom scan. Commencing Scan.... Scan Complete. There is a laptop in her room. She is going to be famous, just not as a musician. She shall become a bestselling author, won't she? *smirks* I might be wrong, but I'm pretty confident in my abilities.

Whaat?! Gena listened to me! I'm magical!

Writing shall be important in the dynasty, but I won't say how  ;D

Thanks, Annabec!  I actually tried to make everything look nice with this house.  I'm glad you like it :)

I love Mo's room, it really is fitting for a princess.  I wonder what were the grandmas talking about?

The only problem is that Mo's favorite color is Irish Green, which sort of clashes with her namesake of pink.  It makes everything look like a watermelon  :o

Chapter 36- Star News Anchor

Gena had done it.  She got her final promotion and became a Star News Anchor.

She got a lot of happiness from finally completing her Lifetime Wish.

After receiving her final promotion, Gena promptly retired.

Gena was really looking forward to spending the remainder of her life doing what she wanted and with her family.  Speaking of family, Grandma H was helping Mo with her homework.  She's been around a long, long time so she has a lot of knowledge to share.

Homework done, Mo spent a lot of time playing outside in the backyard.  She and Grandpa DD loved the waterslide.

Gena wasn't really sure what to do with all of her free time.  She spent some time playing outside with Mo in the waterslide but then decided to try her hand at painting.

Mo had some fun hanging out with the Elders as they jammed on their different instruments.

That weekend, we had another momentous occasion in the household: Mo's teenage birthday.

And here is my little princess in her fabulous new outfit:

Gena and I bought our baby a new car for her birthday.  A fabulous barbie car ride for a fabulous princess.

Mo has always been a character.  She reminded me a lot of Grandma ChaCha, always striking a dramatic pose for her museum pieces.

But she still made time to study with me before starting high school on Monday.  I actually completed the Teacher Extraordinaire skill challenge for all of the hours I spent helping Mo with her school work.

The thing Mo was most excited for the chance to finally begin working on her future supermax: Charisma.

She worked on getting a skill point or two before taking a break to spend some time with her Mom.  Gena volunteered to teach Mo how to drive.  However, before they could get out of the driveway, they were interrupted by the ice cream truck...

There we go, much better  ;)

Much agreed  :)

The sad part is, I think I played with one like that when I was little  :o

Chapter 37- So Many Options

We had a lot of extra room and a lot of extra money, so we decided why not build a pool?

My Mom was the first person to try it out.

I decided to not dive into the pool, but dive into some potions instead.  Now that all of my requirements were complete, I had some free time and could do some new things or old things that I never got to try.

We did have a really awkward moment after breakfast one morning before all of us with morning shifts had to rush off to work.  Grandpa DD and I realized we wore the exact same work outfit, except for Grandpa DD's brown pants.  Awkward.

When I came home from work, Mo and Grandpa DD dragged me outside for some trips down the waterslide.

Mo, meanwhile, began working on some of her Charisma skill challenges.  She needed to tell 100 jokes.  Since Mo had a Good Sense of Humor, I knew it would be no trouble for her at all.

That week in school, Mo had her prom.  Of course she was voted Prom Queen.  There was no better candidate suited for the crown!  Anyway, Mo told Gena and me that she spotted someone with a wardrobe malfunction and got into a bit of a scuffle when one of her classmates looked at her funny.  Again, she is just like her Grandma ChaCha with that spirit.

Gena and I made sure to spend a lot of time together now that Gena was getting older.

No one was safe from Mo's charisma.  Not even the ghosts.

Speaking of ghosts, I think we're amassing an army...

Late one Friday night, Mo called over some of her classmates.  She told Gena and me that since she did need to pick out a boyfriend eventually, she wanted to start "exploring her options" as soon as possible.  This guy aged up on his way over to the house, so suspect one is eliminated.

This young man was Erwin.  He didn't age up on the way over to the house, which was a good start for him.  Erwin and Mo seemed to hit it off pretty well.

Mo said that while there was definitely some attraction there, she wasn't up for making any decisions yet.  I was so relieved to hear that.  I could age up into an old man in peace.

Here I was, older and wiser:

I immediately dragged Grandma Rena upstairs to the art studio to take care of my final museum pieces so I could become immortal.  Unfortunately, I would have to wait one more chapter because we've reached our screenshot limit for today  ;)

I have a pool, but it is definitely not as nice or luxurious as theirs  :(

Chapter 38- The Fabulous Ms. Mo

I had to admit that I was kind of nervous when Grandma H prepared me a plate of Ambrosia for the first time.  I mean, I had worked my whole life to achieve this, to become immortal.  I didn't know what to expect as I began eating the meal.

It was definitely an interesting taste, life fruit and deathfish, but everything Grandma H cooks is delicious so I ate it up with no problems.  I put my fork down and that's when it hit me: I was the sixth immortal!  The finish line was one step closer now.

Grandma H then gave me a final gift of a deathflower.  It was now time to pass on the notebook to my lovely daughter, Mo.  She had a long life ahead of her that was sure to be as fabulous as she was.

See ya,

Ori Sakura

Hello all!  My name is Momoiro Sakura, but Mo is what I prefer to be called.  My dear old Dad just became immortal, which means I get to write about my fabulous life as a dynasty princess.  Okay, so I'm not really a princess but in this town, my family is pretty much considered royalty.  So, if the crown fits, wear it  ;)

I also have a very, extra special role as the seventh generation in the dynasty.  It was my duty to bring in the final heir.  The only problem was: I didn't get to get married.  Sure, I could have a boyfriend, but I could never marry.  It was written right there in the rulebook that Grandma H told us about:

The Seventh Heir must be woman,
Strong, yet sweet and fair
She may love, but never marry
to bring the final heir

Completely unfair if you ask me.  But I can't let my family down.  They've already come this far and have sacrificed so much.  I know that Grandma Mizu sacrificed her own marriage for me to be here.  I was going to do it and do it in a fabulous manner!  Speaking of me, here I am with Grandma ChaCha.  Everyone says I take after her.  A lot.  Anyway, I was working on my Charisma skill challenges, specifically, telling 100 jokes.  It was easily in the bag with a house full of a captive audience.

Since we were such as famous family, we often had papparazzi hanging around our front gate.  This one was evil.

Here's my Mom, enjoying her free time now that she retired.

She didn't have much time to enjoy her retirement though because it happened when she went to cameo in a play.

Mom shook Grim's hand.  She had done all she wanted to do, so she was ready to go.

Thanks for everything, Mom.  I won't let your sacrifice go to waste.

A note from Ori Sakura,

I was dreading this moment for quite some time now.  The worst part was, it came so fast.  I just hand this notebook over to our beautiful little princess and suddenly Mo is giving this back to me.  I miss you, Gena.  That's really all I can think to say.  I love you, Gena, and was so happy to see you reach your dream after giving so much to not only me, but the dynasty.  Most importantly, you gave me the best gift of all: Mo.  And now you have given her a gift: the opportunity to bring in the final heir.  We will do this.  We're so close and it's all thanks to you, Gena.  We're going to make it and then you can come back to Mo and me.  See you soon, sweetie.  Miss you, Ori.

RIP Gena Sakura, aged 96

We were all saddened by Mom's passing but we all knew that it was going to come eventually.  It had to happen in order for me to fulfill my role as the seventh heir.  I planned on waiting a bit though.  I wanted to work on my career first.  Plus, I had not met "the one" yet.

Dad and I spent our days in our usual routine, hoping that Mom would appear soon.  I wondered how Grandpa Marcos could eat with a bowl in his hand...

Mom showed up pretty quickly and spent a lot of time hanging out with the other ghosts in the house.

I was pretty happy that Mom showed up so quickly because she was able to celebrate my Young Adult birthday with me.

Here I am, after a fabulous makeover:

I managed to sneak away from the Elders while they were eating birthday cake and headed upstairs to my room to get a job.  My dream was to be a Superstar Actress, so I applied for a job at the local film studio.  I was going to be a beloved film star in no time!

And then it was off to the art studio with Grandma Rena to get my museum pieces done.

I just want to give everyone a heads up that the next update might be delayed because I am having surgery on Thursday  :(  I should be fine, but we'll see.  Hopefully I can recover quickly and post over the weekend.  Fingers crossed!

Less than a month out of forum (real life is not good) and your dynasty has two more immortals. Congratulation! I love Mo's hair, it's one of my favorites that I always use. It goes well with her personality and style.

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a good recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!  I appreciate it :)  I had a martial arts injury that's been bothering me for the past few months and the surgery is to fix the problem so I'm hoping to be pain free once I recuperate.  The bright side is that since I will be couch bound for a little bit since it's my foot that's being worked on, I get a lot of time to play The Sims 4!

I wanted to post the next chapters for the Sakura's and the Rigel's a day early to say thanks for the well wishes, so here it is!

Chapter 39- The One

Now that I was the active heir, Dad and I had a long discussion of some of the requirements that I needed to complete.  One of most important requirements being bringing in the final heir.  The only problem was that I had yet to find my special someone.  Sure, I could have my pick of the men throughout Appoloosa Plains but I didn't want just anyone.  I wanted The One.  Dad understood what I meant.

I didn't have all of the time in the world to wait, but I did have some time and I used it to work on my other requirements, such as supermaxing my Charisma skill.

I decided to work on some of my skill challenges with the people in town.  This particular man was named Michael Romero.  He was pretty handsome, I do have to admit, and I believe that he and I both felt some sparks when we met.

We chatted for a bit, my initial intent to make a new friend for my requirements.  But eventually, the conversation turned into finding out more about each other, both of us smiling brightly.

We hit it off really well.

Really, really well.

Dad didn't seem too pleased, however, to come home from work to find me making out with some guy he didn't know.  I just told him that it was part of my requirements and that it just had to be done.

Once Dad saw that I was serious about making things official with Michael, he just smiled and said that he would leave us to our fun.

Michael said yes!

I did make sure to tell him all about the dynasty and its rules.  He had to know right off the bat that this was as far as things could go.  There was no getting married, there was no moving in together.  Boyfriend and girlfriend.  That was it.  Thankfully, Michael seemed to understand that.  He said that he knew that the rules could not be easy for me and that he was impressed at my dedication and commitment to my family.  Michael also said that he would be willing to be at my side through it all.  I am certain that he is my One.

I went to bed happy that night, thinking of the possible future that Michael and I might have together...

The next morning, dressed or not, I ran out to the garden to tell Grandma H all about my good news.  She was so happy that I had found a wonderful guy to spend my life with.  Grandma H always told me that even if I couldn't marry, I could at least fall in love and be happy and to not settle for just anyone.  I loved hearing her stories of her Grandma Murasaki and how she and her now husband Grandpa Hugh had spent as much time as they could together while the dynasty was in full swing and got married the moment after it was all over.  That gave me hope.  If Grandma Murasaki could do it, I could too!

Now that I had my special someone, I really wanted to focus on my career before Michael and I took the next step.  I was so close to getting a promotion, only missing out by a sliver.  So, I invited my boss over and used some of the infamous Mo charm on her.  She couldn't resist and gave me my promotion.  I should have asked for a better career outfit while I was at it...

Speaking of work, Grandma Rena decided that she wanted to get out of the house and join the work force herself.  I mean, she currently worked as a self-employed sculptor, but she wanted to do something new.  So, Grandma Rena joined the Business career.

I managed to get a few promotions in the next couple of days and finally got to be a regular in the movies.  Apparently, the bigwigs in the movie biz really liked my work because I was nominated for a Sim Choice Award.  I attended the award ceremony and amazingly, I won!

I was surprised and honored to receive the award.  I wanted to celebrate.  So, the next day, I paid for the Elders to all take a trip to the Spa and invited Michael over for some "celebrating."

We had some fun using the photo booth.

Good times had by all  ;)

Oh, and we did eventually use the photo booth for its intended use: fun photos!

But while Michael and I were having fun inside, some poor papparazzi was not having fun outside.  The poor sap died on our front lawn, just outside the gate.

I guess you could say he was just dying to meet us!  That was bad...so very bad...
