Mizu? Dumpster Diving? Wow. Though I can't blame her, it's fun. Congratulations on your overall (insert number here, because I've stopped counting) immortal.
Congrats on your... (I lost count ) immortal! Pizza Fridays is an awesome idea, well everythin that includes pizza is an awesome idea
I lost count too
When I was typing this, I actually mislabeled Mizu as the sixth immortal and not as the fifth. Whoops!
Chapter 32- Steve's Final GiftOri here! I got an opportunity to collect some scarabs in Egypt, so Gena and I took a quick trip to Al Simhara.
Since we had a few days of vacation, I decided to do some adventuring. Grandma ChaCha said it was genetic.
But I did end up doing what I came here for: collecting scarab bugs.
Once I collected all of the scarabs, Gena and I had some fun together
Unfortunately, being from such a famous family, the papparazzi watched us the entire time...how embarassing...
Back at home, the Elders were up to their usual shenanigans. Grandma Rena picked up some drumsticks and starting learning to play the drums.
She has a fierce drumming face.
Dad had a lot of free time since he became an astronaut. He spent a lot of it working on his skills and helping around the house. Dad had started helping out Grandma H and Grandpa DD in the garden. He maxed his Gardening skill and then went upstairs to the third floor to continue his work on this Charisma skill. Dad barely managed to say any words when it happened.
We all heard Mom calling for us from the bathroom, so we all came up to see what the problem was. I had no idea that anything had happened to Dad, as apparent by my expression and thoughts.
Those thoughts quickly changed when Mom told me what happened. I did my best to console her.
And Gena did her best to console me.
We knew it was inevitable. As a doctor, I knew that it was going to happen eventually. But that doesn't make it any easier. Goodbye, Dad. We all miss you.
A note from Mizuiro Sakura,
Steve. You were my better half and best friend. My sparring partner. I knew that this day would come eventually, but that doesn't make this any easier. You gave Ori a tremendous gift though, with your passing. Now Ori and Gena can have a daughter. You always did so much for our family and this final gift from you will not be in vain. Grandma H assures me that we will be together again someday and I can only hope that she is right. I miss you so much. We've been friends since grade school so it's strange not having you around anymore. Grandpa DD told me that it's not easy to lose someone you've been so close to throughout the years, but also that you are not truly gone; I can see you when you come to visit me just like when Grandma Sunny comes to visit Grandpa DD. I will take whatever I can get and will be waiting for you. Don't make me wait too long, Steve, or I will have to kick your ghostly butt! Love you always, MizuRIP Steve Sakura, aged 94
Things were kind of quiet around the house after Dad's passing. I worked on my Logic skill.
And then joined the household fad of learning instruments. Here I am learning the bass.
Mom reminded me that Dad leaving us gave Gena and me the ultimate gift: the opportunity to have a child. I talked to Gena about it. She knew that it was important for us to have a daughter, and it was especially important now since Gena was getting close to being an Elder. Dad timed everything perfectly and we took advantage of Dad's final gift.
Gena started to not feel very well, which, as a doctor, I took as a good sign. I quickly ran to the grocery store and picked up a ton of watermelon for Gena. We absolutely needed to have a daughter. The dynasty rested on our little girl's shoulders.
We decided to enjoy some of the remaining time left between just the two of us because with any luck, it was soon be the three of us.
It was confirmed. Gena did the magical spin while I was asleep one night. Generation 7 was on the way!
Of course the good news didn't make the nausea go away.
The happiness of the incoming nooboo was overshadowed by sadness of the fact that Dad sacrificed himself to make this happen. I also knew that Gena would need to make the same sacrifice in the years to come for our daughter to do her part and bring in the final heir. But I'm getting WAY ahead of myself. Right now, I was just happy to know that I was going to be a Dad.
My favorite requirement, my future daughter, would be here soon. But in the meantime, I couldn't help but think about all the wonderful things she may want to do with her life as a part of this dynasty.
So, I may or may not be working on a lifestates dynasty for a hall of fame attempt as The Sims 3 winds down....and there may or may not be a story attached...just saying
