I had to catch up with this story, three chapter, so many things to comment. Very good as always.

Maybe Steve is a paper boy, they always aged funny. Often skipped a stage.

Wow they look identical, both very beautiful girls, except for the eyes color they could be identical twins, same face, hair and shape. Is really strange and fantastic how this game surprises us sometimes.

Congrats to ChaCha! And happy birthday to Mizu and Blaine! Mizu is drop dead gorgeous and I hope she'll decide on her supermax soon :)

I actually made her indecisive because I couldn't decide  ::).  I think I was initially planning on her supermax being the athletic skill, but then I remembered what happened with Aoi (Gen. 6) from my last dynasty.  He loved his mother, Midori, so very much that he constantly wanted to train her on his athletic equipment.  I always had to keep an eye out on them because I didn't want that to ruin my dynasty attempt!  So, I took that into consideration when trying to decide whether to go with Martial Arts or Athletics as Mizu's chosen skill.

Yay! Congratulations on the 4th immortal, and as far as I know, your 12th immortal(?)

Thanks, Genie!  It's really amazing to think that in the grand scheme of things, ChaCha is the 12th immortal Sakura.

Congratulations on yet another immortal! I'm amazed at how similar those two girls look alike! Mizu is gorgeous and just like butterfly said above me, I hope she decided on her supermax soon! :D

I was really surprised when Mizu aged up and came out looking like Murasaki.  I decided to try the braid on her just to see what she would look like and it ended up looking pretty good on her.  There is no doubt they are family  ;D

As for Steve, I'm not really sure what happened.  I thought he might be a paper boy too, but I don't recall ever seeing that status.  Guess he just got struck with that nasty aging bug.  But, it works out in the long run!

Chapter 23- Grandmaster Mizu

My first order of business after aging up into a Young Adult was to invite a certain friend of mine over to the house.  Yep, Steve.  Now that we were the same age, we both saw each other a little differently.

My Mom was always a straightforward person.  I decided to follow in her footsteps and just come right out and tell Steve how I felt.

Under the watchful eye of Grandma H, of course.  I was relieved to see that Steve felt the same way!

What a sweetheart :)  And my favorite color, too!

Even though he and I had to wait a little bit longer than my grandparents or parents did to get together, Steven and I were happy.  Happy to finally get the chance to be a couple.

I wasn't going to let this one get away.

He happily accepted.

Once Steve joined the household, Mom whisked him away to update his wardrobe.  She went with an outfit that would compliment his beautiful blue eyes.

I always knew growing up that Steve and I were so alike, which is why we have always been good friends.  Steve is Disciplined, a Daredevil, Family Oriented, a Mooch and Friendly.  Like me, his Lifetime Wish is to achieve Physical Perfection.  We were perfect for each other!  Steve started right away on his Sim Fu training.

We had waited long enough just for the opportunity to be together, so we wasted no time in making it official and getting married.

Then it was off to celebrate our wedding night  ;).

After the wedding but before our honeymoon, Grandma Rena managed to snag Steve away for a few minutes to take care of his pieces for the museum.

Then it was off to China for an extended honeymoon!

Mom and Dad surprised us by letting us know that we had our own vacation home in Shang Simla.  That is just amazing beyond words!  For Steve and I, as martial artists, we planned on making the most of our 8 day vacation by skilling.  Steve was going to work on achieving his Black Belt while I was going to participate in the tournament.  Yes, I had decided.  I was going to supermax Martial Arts.

I got in some board breaking practice to work on one of my skill challenges, the Timber Terminator.

And then I entered the tournament.  I was looking forward to this!

(I just adore Mizu's butt kicking face.  It's actually my avatar.  And, fun fact, Mizu makes what is considered a proper fist in my Martial Art.  I was quite pleased when I saw that  :D )

I was determined to make it up the ranks of the tournament competitors.

And also progress up the belt ranks too.

I called in one morning to see who my next sparring opponent would be.  I was shocked when the Masters told me that my next opponent was none other than my husband, Steve!  I won 2-1.

Late one afternoon, I did it.  I achieved my Black Belt!  I was so excited to have made it this far!  Next on my list, achieve the rank of Grandmaster.

I decided to post this chapter a day early because I am out of town all day tomorrow and probably won't have time to do it then.  Enjoy!

Mizu's wedding dress was gorgeous, she looked stunning in it. I didn't know that household members can be opponents, hopefully Steve didn't mind being beaten up by his wife :)

I was really surprised when I had Mizu go to invite her next opponent over and the action was greyed out, saying her next opponent, Steve Sakura, was already on the lot.  It ceratinly wasn't a fair fight, since Mizu was a Black Belt and Steve was only a Yellow Belt.  But they do get a rematch  :o

Go Mizu! Beat up that old lady! Yay! Yes, that is what I had been thinking the whole time...

I'll grab the pom poms and we'll cheer for Mizu in style!

Chapter 24- A Note from Steve

So...hey!  This is Steve.  My gorgeous and awesome Sim Fu master wife, Mizu, is off sparring another guy, so I thought I'd sneak a peek in this notebook she's always writing in.  I know about the whole Dynasty thing and, at first, I'll admit that it was a tough pill to swallow, but that just proves my point that my girl is extra special.  Anyway, Mizu just kicked this guy's butt and now he's offering to teach her some traditional Chinese songs.

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever?  Look at that face!

Uh oh.  She noticed me with her notebook.

"Steve!  What are you doing!?"
"Umm...leaving a nice message?"

*Mizu reads what Steve just wrote*

"I am so embarrassed.  You do realize that the 8th Heir is going to look back at this years from now and laugh his or her butt off, right?  Please give me the pen back."
"I'll fight you for it."
"You're on."

*The winner strolls triumphantly back to the notebook with pen in hand*

"And there's a reason, dear Steve, that I am a Grandmaster of Sim Fu."

Mizu defeated Steve in their second ranked sparring match against each other by a score of 2-0.

Our honeymoon was over a few days later and Steve and I returned home.  It was a great trip.  Steve maxed his Martial Arts skills and I won the tournament and became a Grandmaster of Sim Fu.  Not bad at all!

Steve and I decided to surprise Grandma H with a new brick oven after our trip.  We saw it and thought she'd like it.  Grandma H really enjoyed her new toy in the kitchen.

So did Grandpa Hiller.

The rest of the house had been up to its usual routine.  Mom maxed the Piano skill.

Dad was working on his Sim Fu.  He made it all the way to Black Belt.  I was so proud of him.

Now that things were back to normal, Steve and I got in some work at our new jobs.  I joined the Police Department and Steve joined the Military.  Even in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there was a certain thought that kept popping into both of our heads.

After a few promotions and another skill challenge, Steve and I agreed to take the next step and bring in the next generation.

In other news, Dad decided that it was time to retire.  With prospective grandchilden on the way, Dad wanted to spend as much time as he could with him or her.

Good thing he retired when he did because Dad wouldn't have to wait too much longer to be a Grandfather!

Steve was the first person I told.  I broke the news to him when he came home from work that night.  He was so excited.  Look at that face!

He gave me the biggest hug and kiss he could muster.

I told Mom and Dad and the rest of the family too.  Dad, a master of Charisma, was so happy that he was speechless.

Since I was on maternity leave, I spend my time relaxing by meditating.

Steve was a lot older than I was, a half a lifestage in fact, so he aged up into an Adult one evening after work.  Happy birthday, sweetie!

Good news everyone: the Sakura's are hall of fame, all 16 of them! You can check them out now or wait until the end of the story if you don't want to spoil the surprise of the last three generations. Either way, the Sakura's have made it  ;D

Sims think of the most random things at the most random times.  I actually got a shot of Rena thinking of a unicorn as she was about to sculpt a museum piece  ::).

Chapter 25- A Little Olive

I get so start off with some amazing news.  I want to introduce my beautiful little boy to everyone.  We named him Oriibuiro (which means olive green), or Ori for short.  He is an Easily Impressed, Genius.

With our new addition, we had to made some new additions to the house.

We added a third floor to the house.

We put up a row of rocking chairs to keep our army of ghosts busy.

Another bathroom identical to the rest.

And Ori's room, in the color of his namesake.

Ori was spoiled the moment he was brought home.  It's been a long time since the last little boy in the dynasty, so the Grandma's were relishing his baby days.

The Grandmas and Grandpas gave Steve and I a break everyone once and a while to catch up on our skilling.  I got in a few minutes with the treadmill and managed to max my Athletic Skill.

I was going to go spar with my Dad to work on my 75 sparring match skill challenge, but we didn't even get to throw a single kick.

Dad was okay with going with Grim.  He got to see his grandson before he went, so he was thankful.

Mom was utterly heartbroken.  They had been together since they were teenagers and they really loved each other.

Thanks for everything Dad, we'll miss you.

A note from ChaCha Sakura

Why did you have to leave, Blaine?  Why?  You haven't even been gone a day and I already miss you so bad.  You've been my partner in crime since we were teens.  We've been through thick and thin, for better or for worse.  You put up with me constantly spraypainting everything, even when I accidentally spraypainted you a time or two when you got too close to what I was painting.  We had so much fun together, raising our beautiful little girl.  And now, we have a grandson.  A gorgeous little boy who I have a feeling is going to look an awful lot like you.  I can only hope so because you were pretty darn handsome, babe.  I miss you so, so much.  I hate goodbyes, ChaCha

RIP Blaine Sakura, aged 91

Our spirits were lifted in the coming days when it was time for Ori's toddler birthday.  We couldn't wait to see who he would most resemble.

He is a perfect little combo of Steve and me.  Ori has Steve's beautiful blue eyes and my hair color.  It's nice to see my Dad's hair will live on through my son for another generation.

Ori is such a sweetie!

Grandpa DD really enjoyed spending time with his little grandson.

Grandma Rena managed to steal him away from Grandpa DD at some point to take care of my little boy's museum pieces.

Meanwhile, Steve and I worked on my skill challenges.  To say we got a little too into sparring against each other was an understatement for sure.

The notes from the spouses are a good addition to the story, they all are beautifully sad, and ChaCha's was not less.

On a happy note, DD has company ;)
