I'm about to cry. The last toddler spam!!!
The last toddler is always the hardest to come to terms with. It was for me, anyways. At least Shikon is a cute little thing.
I was so sad when I sold all of the baby/toddler things instead of putting them in the family inventory
but I can still get my fill over in Rigel Duty!
It was last, but it ceirtainly wasn't the least, Shikon is so adorable. I'm guessing he'll supermax writing?
Very good catch! Shikon will supermax writing. It should be an easy skill for him because he has so much to write about with his family.
Chapter 43- Superstar ActressAfter his birthday, Grandma Rena took Shikon up to the art studio to work on his Child musem pieces.
The next day was Shikon's last day off before starting school. He was sort of excited but also sort of nervous at the same time to start school. I thought it would be nice for him to get out the house of Elders and meet some kids his own age. Despite being somewhat nervous, Shikon talked to Grandma H and she tutored him to help him get a good start to the school year.
When Grandma H had to leave for work, Dad volunteered to help Shikon.
Once he felt better about starting the school year, Shikon sat down at the computer to start learning a new skill: writing. He picked it up really quickly.
Shikon wrote well into dinnertime. Speaking of dinner, we had to add a second table because of all the ghosts dining with us every night.
But one of the nice things about having so many ghosts in the house was that they were very helpful and cooked us dinner quite often.
When we finally managed to pull Shikon away from the computer to come to dinner, he told us all about his immediate love for writing. I was so happy to see him so happy. Everyone was happy that he was happy too.
Shikon did amazingly well in school and I was happy to hear that he made some friends too. He made the honor roll and had stellar grades all throughout elementary school. But those days soon came to an end and we were quickly approaching my little guy's teen birthday. Teen. How could I be the mother to a teenage boy already? I tried to make these fleetings moments last a little longer by spending some time with Shikon before went we downstairs to celebrate his birthday.
I gave him one last hug before we headed downstairs to the birthday cake awaiting his presence.
Everyone, including the ghosts, gathered around to watch little Shikon blow out his birthday candles.
Shikon was pretty excited to age up.
I couldn't hide my smile when I saw that Shikon aged up with his father's hair.
I agreed to let Shikon keep his hair a little longer in honor of his father.
And, as a birthday present from Michael and me, we got Shikon a car.
After his birthday, it was back up to the art studio to work with Grandma Rena on Shikon's next set of museum pieces. While he posed for the pieces, Shikon only had one thought on his mind.
But before he got started on his best selling novels, Shikon sat down with Grandma ChaCha to get some tutoring in before starting high school on Monday.
I'm not quite sure what Grandma ChaCha was teaching Shikon but whatever it was, it seemed to confuse them both...
Regardless of what Grandma ChaCha ended up teaching Shikon, it seemed to help because Shikon immediately got good grades when he started school on Monday. I also had a great day on Monday. I got my final promotion and became a Superstar Actress. Becoming a Superstar Actress completed my requirements and also my Lifetime Wish. Not bad for one promotion!
