Ok, this seemed a bit too easy so I hope I did not disqualify myself by doing something I wasn't supposed to. I did reread the rules several times to be sure.

Hehe..I am guessing I know what you're curious about and if I am right then have no fear. ;)

No, it has to be houses.

Pam is correct. I received a PM from a different player asking basically the same thing. Guys, it's called House Hunters. Not empty lot hunters. :)

From the ruleset:

At the start of the challenge you choose an empty furnished home to live in.

Could have done a lot better with some more prep and better strategy!

Looking forward to seeing how others did it.

Are we able to delete the Into the Future portal that appears and the University welcome kit or is that considered altering the lot?
Also are we able to enter build mode on property we have bought?

Yes, you're altering the lot, so leave them alone.

Also are we able to enter build mode on property we have bought?

You cannot enter Build mode at all. Rules already state that.

Total value of the houses is:  $793,076.

I love this challenge.  Thank you, Metro, for bringing it back for one last run.  :)

Oh dear. Something went very wrong here! I ran out of houses to move to - nowhere nice was available. No idea how to sort that out; but only a few days until I find out :)
Bottom of the pack, with total house worth of 270602. At least I get the participation score!

It was a fun challenge, and I think I did a good job. Could have gotten two (or maybe even three) more houses if I had paid better attention.

Total: $1,427,019
