The Steel Legacy- Graveyard Please
« on: June 10, 2014, 10:03:07 PM »
Okay, first attempt at a legacy, and first attempt at any kind of story.  I'm new here, so forgive me if I seem noobish.  My simming has felt empty lately, so I'm hoping this story telling will fix that for me.  I've edited the town to include addition from all expansions besides showtime, which I still don't have.  My rules will include no cheats other then fixing glitches. cheats allowed for photos, fixing glitches, and I reserve the right to move people in & out + edit town to keep families getting married and babies made.

Settings are: Free will high.  Life Span long.  7 days per season, with all weather enabled and lunar cycle set to rotating on a 6 day cycle.  Story progression enabled.  All occult stages, pets and celebrities enabled.

I've chosen Sunset Valley for nostalgia purposes, and I'm choosing Christopher Steele, since he always has the funniest things happen to him whenever I choose him.  First upload will be either later tonight or tomorrow.

Updates:
June 12
We now have a villain, Jared Frio, the Light Fae King.
The family trait will be Daredevil, as both Molly and Chris happen to have the trait.
I reserve the right to use cheats for picture taking purposes, it's just impossible to get certain shots otherwise.

June 20: Found a fascinating glitch today.  With an adult and a teen whom are already dating, one may take romantic picture, which caused a glitched kiss, and causing the group to turn into a date.

July 24: This legacy will end with the death of Frio.
P.S  Updates will be slow due to problems with error 12 and crashing, I have a very old computer, work full time and am taking 21 credits in collage this term.  Hopefully once a week.

July 29: Simming computer is dead, but the memory is safe, so i'm waiting on a new compy, but will hopefully be able to continue this story.

August 23:  Waiting to get the money together for a new computer.

Week One- Summer

We begin with our unassuming head, one Christopher Steel.  Christopher Steel is lucky by nature. Things have always come easily for him, which is starting to get boring.  While we know nothing about his previous life, where he came from or why he left, Chris is adamant about beginning his new life, starting with becoming a doctor and spending his first day in town studying at the library.
After arriving home, Chris adopted a puppy to help stave of the lonlyness of batchalorhood.

Shilo is a non-destructive genius sheepdog with tendancys towards neatness.  Getting a puppy caused a late night, leaving Chris with only twenty minutes in the morning to shower and feed his puppy before donning a strange haircut for his job as an organdoner.

His first day at work left him feeling tired and stressed, so the rest of the day was wasted spent sleeping.  But a little midnight mac 'n cheese perked Chris right back up.
So did bonding with his new puppy.
Day two gave Chris a fwe hours of overtime, which pushed him into a promotion.  A fter a ten hour shift, Chris went to the gym to enjoy the nice public shower and then back to the library for more studying.  A bedpan cleaner isn't the most attractive person, and Chris needed to find a girlfriend soon.  Fate had other ideas, during his study session, one Jared Frio suddenly became ill.  Seeing as how there were no other doctors on site, Chris choose to put his limited medical experience to use, despite not yet having taken his Hippocratic oath.

Miss Goth was disturbed greatly by the sight.
Streatch attacks aside, the sucessful treatment eared Chris a small friendship with the Frio brothers, who invited him to come over the next day after work.  The $2 raise the next may not seem like much, but Chris was happy about it.  His short visit the next day didn't go very well, Jared had some choice word to say to Chris about his new uniform, despite Chris having helped him the day before.

Thursday rolled around, and Chris decided to throw a pool party, bringing Shilo along.  While at the party, Chris met Molly French, to whom he was instantly attracted...and the sentiment was returned.
Who just happened to be single...and Virgo...and compatible.  Chris spent the rest of his party, which happened to be amazing, getting to know Molly better.  Chris found it amazing that Molly was pursuing her dream of cooking while raising her toddler daughter without a father, and admired her fae wings.  After one afternoon, he knew Molly was the one, and asked her a very important question.  "Would like to go on a date with me?"  After going out for drinks, they returned to Chris' house to watch the stars.

And Chris made his move.

"Molly, I know it's only been one day, but I haven't felt this way about someone in a long time...will you be my girlfriend?"
And Molly, being the hopeless romantic that she was, immidietly said "YES!"  After a few more kisses, they bid each other goodnight.  Molly decided to spend the night, forgetting to ask Chris before he went to sleep.
(And I had my first crash here, with the game freezing.  This does not bode well....)

Chris spent the weekend studying, working, and finding time to spend with his new girlfriend.  During his rare downtime fishing, Chris helped another sim in need, Micheal Bachelor.  It went better now that Chris is a paramedic, not a bad pan cleaner.

To top off the weekend, Chris visited Molly at home to interact more with her and her daughter.  However, after one evening there it was obvious to him that Molly wasn't happy living with her high school best friend and her mother.  "I love Fiona and River, really, I do, and they've been a huge help with Sandi, but..."  Chris smiled at his girlfriend  "I think I understand what your saying.  Before I moved here, I lived with my best friend and his mother, and it was...difficult at times.  Molly, there's something I need to ask you.  I realize we haven't been dating for very long, but we have a lot in common, and amazing chemistry, and I think you and your daughter are amazing.  Molly..."  He bent down on one knee  "Will you make me the happiest sim in Sunset Valley and marry me?"

Molly jumped up and down in pure joy "Oh, it's just like how I imagined!  Yes Christopher, of course I'll marry you!"  And with that, Chris had the beginnings of his family living with him.  A lovely Fiancee, her adorable daughter and his puppy Shilo.  It was a great first week, and so long as he could count on his good luck, Chris knew everything would be just fine.

Please let me know how I'm doing.

I agree that it was a very interesting choice of haircuts to go to work in...but if he got a promotion it must have worked!  It is nice to see Molly French as the spouse for your legacy.  I haven't seen too many stories with her in them, so I am looking forward to a Chris/Molly nooboo.  Other than a minor grammatical thing here or there, everything looks really good so far.  Nice work  :)

Week 2- Fall

The new family wasted no time in getting ready for the rest of their lives.  Sandi cleaned the bug cage after school before signing up for ballet and going on a field trip her second day of school to see the opera.  Now that she was in a more normal family, Sandi was coming into her own, and dreaming big.  While she did miss her aunties, Sandi loved Shilo, and was happy to see her mom in a stable relationship.

Chris threw himself a bachelor party, inviting only his closest guy friends.

And enjoyed the Fizzy Nectar.

And promptly ignoring the dancer the Frio brothers invited.

For her bachelorette party, Molly invited every female she knew, and went a little overboard on the fizzy nectar.

Molly appreciated the dancer called in.

Unfortunately, no one was watching Sandi, and she may have gotten into the nectar.

After their respective parties, Molly and Chris focused on their careers for a few days.  For Chris, this meant helping the people around town.

And for Molly, going to work instead of partying.  For Sandi, big things were happening in her mind.  Ever since she saw the opera, she felt like she had found her calling, and spent most of her spare time practicing her acting.  Though some would call it playing, to her it was serious business.

But strange thing were brewing in the household.  on the night of the full moon, Shilo had an out of body experience.

And Molly began to experiment with her fae powers, feeling questions beginning to stir within her mind.  She sat down on the couch next to Chris.  "Chris, I think we need to talk."
Chris nodded, thing weighing heavily on his mind as well.  "Yeah, I think we do."
Molly started "Chris, I love you, and I'm excited for our wedding.  But you should know, as a fairy I can only spend the rest of your life with you...not the rest of mine."

Molly sighed  "Chris, I'll still be an adult by the time your gone.  And I think you should know...my lifetime wish is heartbreaker.  I believe in love, I do, but when your going to live for as long as I am, one relationship isn't going to cut it...I want my life to be filled with love, not just pinning over over  my first romance who has been gone for decades.  You probably think I'm a terriable person."  She looked down, feeling dejected.  Chris, however, looked happy.  "Molly, I think thats great!"  "...huh?"

Chris nodded  "I understand that your going to live a lot longer then me, and I'm honored that you've decided to stick with me for the rest of my life but I don't want you to be sad and lonely when I'm gone.  But Molly, your not the only one with something to confess.  I...haven't told you everything.  I'm the first, but this is going to be a legacy family."

Molly nodded her head slowly as Chris told his story, and felt a bubbling feeling deep inside of her  "Chris, I could watch over our descendants, your legacy, if you wanted..."  Chris smiled up at her  "That's your reaction to all of this?"  Molly just smiled at him.  Chris scooted closer to her  "You're amazing, you know that?"

Molly had a sudden though  "What, what about Sandi?"  Chris looked sad for a moment  "You know I think of her as my own, but...she cannot be my heir."  Molly nodded sadley, wishing that Chris could have been Sandi's biological father, but knowing nothing could change that now.  "Alright...I understand.  Anyways, lets call it a night, we're getting married in a few days, and I need my beauty sleep."  Chris laughed, "Your already the most beautiful girl I know."
The rest of the week passed uneventfully, until Friday night.  Chris became a resident, Shilo aged up, and the wedding was planned for the next day.

The day started off simply enough.  Sandi and Molly made nee outfits for the occasion, with Molly doing her hair up and Sandi letting hers down from her pigtails.  Molly called her boss over to ask for her promotion, getting her the day off from work and allowing her to have an afternoon wedding instead of a nighttime one.  While setting up for her wedding, Molly made the mistake of asking her boss if he was single.  Jred smirked at her "Having second thoughts already?  I can certainly imagine why you'd want a fellow fairy like me over a human like Christopher..."  Molly was taken aback "Hitting on me on my wedding day!?  Your my boss, and Chris saved your life just last season!  What's the matter with you!"

Jared shrugged non-nonchalantly  "You know where to find me when you change your mind...we could make quite the pair, and my life span matches yours.  Enjoy your special day."  Molly walked away, shaking her head, and distracted herself by taking a photo with her daughter.

"It's nice to see your hair down, you look so grown up!"  Sandi looked up at her mom and smiled  "I like your new hair too!  I wish it was always like that..."  Molly smiled  "Tell you what, i'll keep mine if you keep yours."  "Ok mom...I love you." "Love you too."

Moments later Chris waved to his fiance, signalling that it was time to begin.  Surrounded by family and friends, the two exchanged vows and rings, committing to each other so long as they both shall live.

And in the midst of the party, it began to snow, as if the heavens themselves were tossing down angelic rice to congratulate the newlyweds.

The party wrapped up quickly as the temperature began to drop, leaving Chris and Molly to consummate their marriage...and begin the journey towards combining their family trees.

And Molly felt a happiness bubbling within her she that thought she would never find.  A Loving husband, wonderful daughter and nooboo on the way.  Life could only get better.

I think I'll be keeping them both with the new hair until aging up again, I like Molly's much better then her original, it frames her face much nicer.

I didn't notice this while on mobile, but we don't like writers using anything that isn't the default forum font. I changed your font back to the default and if you could continue using the default font, that would be great.

Anyways, nice to see that they got married! I like Molly's new look a lot better. :)

Ok, i'll keep it in default from now on.  I'll be changing Molly's clothing after her pregnancy, but the hair has really grown on me, and I think it's here to stay.

Week Three- Winter Part I

The week began with several inches of snow, prompting all members of the household to study at the library.  Shilo passed the time learning how to hunt, now that his puppy days were over.  The day after her wedding as she was taking out the trash, Molly felt a familiar sensation.

"Ugh...I didn't even drink last night...I must have had too much cake."
Pushing all other thoughts aside, Molly spent her morning watching cooking shows on cable in between vomiting every two hours...on the two hours.  By midday she gave up and joined Chris and Sandi at the library.  That evening, it became apparent what was causing her discomfort.

Molly immediately ran into the next room to tell Chris the wonderful news.  "Chris...I'm pregnant!"  Chris reached out to her, unable to contain his joy.  "I didn't think it would take so fast...this is wonderful!"  Chris secretly hoped for a boy, while Molly wanted another girl.  Both kept these facts to themselves.  Chris also found himself wondering...
"Molly...I can't help but notice something.  Your a fairy, but Sandi is human.  What is our baby going to be?"
Molly shrugged slightly  "It's a fifty-fifty chance, since your human and i'm Fairy, it could go either way.  Sandi's father was a human.  There's no way to know until our child is born."

Despite all of the snow, Sandi still had school the next day.  Molly and Chris spent another day at the library, reading pregnancy books and enjoying each other's company.

The next day was an important one for the family.  School was finally canceled, so the first order of business for the family was hanging lights around the house.  Since it was almost Sandi's birthday, they choose red lights, after her favorite color.

Chris took Sandi to the winter festival for the day while Molly relaxed at home, her back too sore to handle all of the walking involved.  Chris made an earnest effort to bond better with Sandi.  She was his daughter now, even if she had chosen to keep her last name of French, and it was his duty to step up and be there for her, even if her biological father never had.

Sandi talked with Chris for a long time that day.  About her feeling towards her biological father, whom Molly refused to even name.  How even though she liked her new home, she sometimes still missed Fiona and River.  But most of all, how much she enjoyed her new life.  "I know Mom and I are slobs, and i'm really unlucky..."  Chris smiled at her "My luck will make up for it. And seeing how excitable you are about every little thing in life, more then overcomes any bad luck." After a day full of skating and hot coco, the two drove home, feeling closer then ever.

When they arrived home, Molly was taking a nap.  Chris attempted to fix the shower, and Sandi grabbed some left over wedding cake, all intent on a quiet night in.

Until Molly woke up screaming from her nap.
Despite his medical training, Chris was less then helpful.

Molly flying in between contractions probably had something to do with Chris' mental breakdown.
"Molly, stop doing that!"
"I'm the one having the baby, I'll do what I want!"

Introducing Darina Steel, who is excitable and loves the outdoors, and appears to be a Fairy with yellow sparkles.

Luella Steel, disciplined and eccentric with fae sparkles the same color as her mother.

And Ekene Steel, a good heavy sleeper who appears to be humane.

After her grueling ordeal, Chris took Molly inside, knowing it was time for a serious conversation.  "Molly, when I did a gender determination, it was positive for a girl..."
Molly nodded her head, not understanding why Chris seemed so serious.
Chris continued slowly  "The test should have confirmed not only gender, but how many babies.  If that test was wrong, then I have no idea how to medically treat our daughters, or what to expect as they grow-"
Molly silenced him with a finger on his lips  "I grew up fae, Chris, I know how to take care of fairy girls.  And besides..."  She smiled  "Now we can be all done having babies, and focus on whats really important,  Us."

Despite his misgiving, Chris merely looked down at his three children.  Three babies...

"We're...going to need to expand the house.  I thought we were only going to have one girl, we would have been fine with just Sandi and Darina sharing the old office room, but now-"
Molly shook her head  "Sandi's room still is an office, just with a bed and her costume chest.  We were going to need more room anyways.  But it'll have to wait until spring, there's no way we can build another floor with all this snow covering everything."

Chris gave a sigh  "I know your right...for now, we'll just have to keep the babies in the living room.  I'll start plans on the extension in the morning, so we can start once the snow melts.  But for now...before we embark on diapers and bottles, I want one last night with my lovely wife."

Molly laughed, before diving under the covers with her husband, wondering if she was truly done bearing children.

-----------------------------------
P.S
I have serious reservations about Molly being a mother.  After birthing the first girl, she went outside, in the snow, and set both girls down in the snow while having Ekene.  I was origionally worried I wouldn't even be able to pick them up, and they were putting up distressing signels.  I don't know what possessed Molly to do this.

Week Three- Winter Part II

The next day started hard for everyone.  Sandi went to her last day of elementary school, and Chris went to work for the first time since his wedding, leaving Molly home alone to throw a birthday party again up her three precious babies.  The party animal inside of her would tolerate nothing less.  Molly was deeply grateful to the McIrish girls for the food they brought, she had barely even had time to think about cooking the last few days.

Jared Frio showed up uninvited, leaving Molly feeling very uncomfortable with the look he gave her from over Luella's crib.  "She has your color."  He remarked, before going to dance.

The triplets aged up during the party, and Sandi followed suit after returning home from school.  Despite her mother worries, Sandi insisted she was ready.

Molly didn't put up too much of a fight.  With Chris back at the hospital and only five more days until her maternity leave was up, she was going to need help with the toddlers.  Sandi became a daredevil, just like her parents, in order to feel connected to both of them.

After a harrying round of get the kids ready for bed, Chris and Molly called it a night.
From left to right, Ekene, Darina and Luella.  It's hard to see, but Luella's hair is brown and Darina's is red.
True to his word, Chris began work on the architecture outline for the expansion on the house.  Between himself and Molly, they had received nearly $9000 in holiday bonuses.

Since it was snowflake day, Molly threw a girft giving party for noon.  Molly and Sandi focused on potty training in between feedings.  "Hey mom, will you teach me how to drive?"
"...ask your father."

After all the guest had arrived, everyone gathered round to exchange gifts.

Dspite all of the festivities, one person brought the party down.  Jared Frio cornered Molly to exchange a few quiet words.  "Molly, you may be married now, but that doesn't change anything."
"It changes everything!  You might be the King of the Fae, but your a light fairy, and I'm not!"
Jared smirked slightly  "There is no leader of the dark fae.  You have custody of your fairy babies only until they reach maturity, then they belong to their faction...and while you and Luella are dark, Daria is light, and will be my subject when she reaches her majority."
Molly glared "Get out of my house!  You'll never take my babies away from me!"
"So long as there is no queen or king of the dark, there will be no one to stop me."
Jared left, making plans for the future of the light fae.

Molly went back inside and held her light daughter close, wishing that she could have been dark, or even mortal, so that she could ensure her protection, cursing the dark moonless night.

With Sandi helping to pick up the slack, the triplets were well on their way to learning their toddler skills.  Chris took breaks only to work on the plans for the house's expansion.  They looked like gibberish to Molly and Sandi, but Chris insisted that it made sense to him.

As the days passed, the new additions became more independent, making it easier for Molly to take care of them while Sandi and Chris were out of the house.  Sandi eventually felt comfortable enough to take driving lessons from Chris, and joined both drama and debate clubs in school.  Despite the thick layer of snow, Chris remained calm as Sandi figured out stick shift.

By the end of winter, all three tots were potty trained and talking, and getting ready to learn to walk.  Molly was preparing to return to work while trying to think of a plan to keep her daughters safe from the light fae king.  And Sandi got ready for the Spring formal, trying to decide wither she should try to find a date or go it alone.Chris was getting ready to begin the expansion on the house, and enjoying his new line of work as a Trauma Surgeon, trying to ignore the fact that he had made so little progress on his lifetime wish.  Still, he now had a family, and his career was taking off, with it not yet being a full year since his move to Sunset Valley.  Whatever the future held, he could rest assured that he had accomplished thing to be proud of in his life.

A wonderful, loving family.

Molly certainly does not win parent of the year for leaving her nooboos in the snow! I like the twist with Jared Frio. Looking forward to see how that plays out as the triplets age up. Also, the scene where Chris and Sandi spent the day together bonding, was really sweet.

Week Four- Spring

The first day of spring came with the rains, melting the snow at last.

Chris used his completed sketch to begin work on the addition to the house.  It made sense to him, even if the rest of the household was confused.
Sandi "Mom...it's just a plant at an intersecting hallway, how is that...?"
Molly  "Honey, just...don't think about it too hard."

Sandi managed to convince Michael Bachelor to go to prom with her, on the condition that she promised not to embarrass him.  After all, he already had a degree in technology, and all she had was a reputation of being a daredevil.

Prom went well for Sandi.  Michael asked her to be his girlfriend, and her subsequent yes gained her enough fame to become a one star celebrity.  In addition, the night gave her the strength to lock-in her lifetime wish, Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous.  She had her first kiss, and was crowned Prom Queen, afterwards giving a speech about her desire for world peace.  By the time the night was over, Sandi had developed strong feelings for Michael.  Which made it all the more embarrassing that she was caught out after curfew on her way home from the dance, and got grounded by her step-dad.

Part of being grounded was helping to move all of the new furniture into the second floor.  When she started, there was only one things in place, and it caused her mouth to drop open.  "No way...it really was part of the plan all along!"

After washing Shilo and cleaning the downstairs bathroom, Chris ungrounded Sandi early.

Molly went back to work for the first time, and Sandi worked for a day to help raise her grades.  She also went because Chris told her she couldn't have a job of her own until she tried it out through the school' program, and Sandi desperately wanted to get a job.  Chris watched over the triplets while the two women in his life worked, making him late for his shift at the hospital.  Everyone in the household was hesitant to hire a babysitter, not knowing if any of the teens in town had experience with fae babies.  While Sandi enjoyed working, it left her drained, and she decided to put of working for a while longer.

The last toddler skill was taught early Wednesday morning, leaving the triplets ready to move onto the next stage of their lives.

Or so Chris thought, until Molly took him aside.  "Listen, Chris, I know it's hard to take care of three toddlers...but there's something you need to know.  It's about the fae..."
Molly spent the next two hours explaining fairy politics to Chris, about how there was no dark fae monarchy at the moment, so all fairies were ruled by the light fae King, who could order all fae with the absence of a dark King or Queen.
"...Once Darina reaches maturity, she will belong to the light fae.  With no dark monarchy in place, there isn't anyone to tell Jared 'no', no one who can help us keep our family together."

Chris didn't take this too well.
"And you've just been keeping this all to yourself!?  This is a legacy Molly, there's a chance Darina could be chosen as the next heir!...if Frio takes her away...it's all over...You should have told me that this could happen!"

"I know Chris, and I'm sorry, but please try to understand!  Jared isn't just my boss, he's the leader of all the fairies right now!  He's the whole reason I have a job, and...and now I can't quit it.  It's the service I provide to my King, just as all mature fae must contribute to the monarchy.  If it wasn't for Darina being light, I would have left my job after our children were born, but I have to keep him placated.  With more time, we might be able to find a way to keep our family safe! Chris, I know your upset, but-"

"But nothing!  I...Molly, I need some time to think about things.  Please just leave me alone for a while, ok?"  Chris spent the rest of his day thinking about the situation his family was in, and considering Jared Frio...the first person who he had ever helped as a doctor.  One of his first friends after moving.  The person who had suggested he throw a party at the community pool, where he met Molly- and it suddenly came to him in a dream.  "Jared did this on purpose...he picked me because I saved his life, and knew he could count on me to be able to help the fae...but why does he need a doctor to help the fae?"

Meanwhile, Sandi was cutting loose on the town.  After releasing 50,000 frogs from the science lab and getting a pedicure for free due to her celebrity status, Sandi headed to the Grind for a night with her boyfriend.  His parents decided to tag along, to finally meet the girl their only son was so crazy about.  It was more then Sandi was prepared to deal with when she discovered that Micheal's mother was dark fae.

"Michael, your mother is dark fae!?"
"Well....yeah...what does it matter?"
"...my mother is too."

"Oh...so...your involved in this too, then."
Sandi shook her head at her boyfriend before heading back to the mixologist  "Another Alien Brain, please."  After tossing down her second drink of the night, next to a woman who could one day very well be her mother-in-law, and discussed the though circling in her mind.  "I was born a human, and so was Michael...but both of our families are forever going to be a part of this.  I thought...I thought if I got married and moved out, I wouldn't have to deal with this.  But we both have a fae mother, odds are at least one of our kids would be fae...and we're all just pawns in Jared's game."

Jocasta smiled at her sadly  "For now, Jared does indeed hold sway over all fae, light and dark.  But the future could hold a dark fae king or queen, a person who could change the fates of our families.  Don't give up hope dear, I've never seen my son so happy, and I'd love to see the two of you get married, wither your babes are fae or mortal.  Don't give up just yet."

Unfortunatly, Sandi had lost track of the time, and was once again busted for breaking curfew.  Molly was less then happy to be woken up at two in the morning, when she had just barely gotten to sleep herself  "Again, Sandi, really!?  And on the night of the full moon too, what is the matter with you!?"

But Sandi had had enough for one night  "Well mom, I thought I'd have a night to myself, and get away from all the stupid fairy politics for one night, but NO!  Michael's mom is dark fae too, and instead of enjoying my date, I got to hear more about this stupid fae hierarchy, and I'm sick of it!  I'm MORTAL mom, but my entire life is always going to be about dairy this and fairy that, just because of Jared Frio and all of you dumb GLOWBUGS!"
"Enough!  Go to your room, your grounded!"
"Fine!  But I'm through with all this fairy nonsense!"
Sandi retreated to her room and proceeded to have a small tantrum, overwhelmed by the stresses facing her family and her boyfriend's family.

Love day started off with thunder, lightening and rain.  Sandi spent the morning cleaning the house until her mother forgave her, then calling Michael to meet up at the festival for a date.  Chris fished on-site in order to chaperon from afar, but the two teens didn't even notice him.  Despite the rain and their worries about their non-mortal family members, they still found peace when together.

The next morning Chris found a love note from Jared for Molly, and felt his resolve to protect his family strengthen.  Molly worked on her painting, and found it was compatible with her cooking skills.
"I should hang this up in the office at work!"

The season cam eto a close after a logn weekend of house cleaning, family time and independant skil building.  Chris took some time to mend his relationship with Sandi, and had a heart to heart talk with her.
"I just so alone sometimes.  You and Ekene are human, but I'm the only girl in this house who is mortal.  On top of that Michael's mom is fae too...it's just hard to ignore it all sometimes."
The two spent hours talking, and both felt closer afterwards.

The future looked uncertain for the Steel family.  For now at least, the triplets could enjoy their youth, spending time together despite their differences.  Light fae. Dark fae. Mortal.  These things didn't matter to them, only spending time together and their shared pretend games.

Week Five- Summer

Sandi spent the first day of summer feeling both unlucky and in a mood swing.  Molly got promoted to Executive Chef, and confronted Jared Frio after work  "Jared, I appreciate the promotion, but you have to know this isn't going anywhere.  I love Chris."
Jared just smirked  "When it's time for Darina to join the light, you'll come calling."

"Isn't there some way we can compromise on this?  The Steel family isn't just some other family-"
"You mean the legacy?"  Jared relished the look on Molly's face "Yeah, I know.  Ending Chris' legacy isn't a goal of mine, but if it happens, so be it.  This is nothing personal Molly, you knew the risks when you got pregnant again.  The light belong to the light.  Just try to enjoy the time you have...and let me know when you'll be my wife."

With this startling realization, Molly resolved to awaken her full fae powers.  Lesiure day arrived, bringing the birthdays of the triplets.  Molly woke up in the middle of the night to being still-lifes on each of her babies, to immortalize their baby days forever.

Sandi got to know her sister-in-law to be, Bella, who was thankfully mortal, while lamenting the fact that her boyfriend was already an adult.  Chris and Molly enjoyed the company of their friends and extended family, and were surprised that the light fae woman Jared brought was not related to or dating the king.  All too soon, it was cake time.  Chris was probably the most excited person present.  "Yes!  No more diapers!"

Darina went first, being the eldest, and gained the family trait of daredevil.

Luella soon followed suit, also gaining the family trait.

Ekene couldn't wait for a cake, and aged up mere moments after Luella, gaining the family trait and revealing he too was a red head.

Chris and Molly put the baby things into storage, to await future generations, then spent their hard earned savings on the kids bedrooms.  Luella and Darina actually wanted to share a room, leaving Ekene with his own.

There was enough money left over to remodel the backyard into a more family friendly area, and get the family a new tv, leaving Ekene with the old one in his room.  Of course, after finishing all of these upgrades I received error 12, and had to re-do everything again.  Thanks to already having the pictures, I got it almost exactly the same.

With the triplets now enrolled in school, Sandi finally got a job in part-time film.  Her monologue won her a signed poster from the famous actress Olivia.

The rest of the summer flew by.  The family spent quality time together bonding, and the kids found new friends in the toys sent to them by a long-lost relative.

Molly explained the differences dividing the fae to her two daughters, who decided that they didn't care.  The two became the best of friends, and did everything together from homework and ballet to practicing flying.

Molly continued to work for Frio, as she was still trapped in her job, but enjoyed her new found stardom.  Sandi worked at becoming friends with her mother again, though it was hard to do while the paparazzi watched their every move.  Her mother's choice of attire probably didn't help.

"Sandi, it's summer, you should try out your suit too!"
"I'm ok, thanks."

Ekene enjoyed playing soccer with his imaginary friend, mostly because of the baffled looks onlookers gave when the ball seemed to magically stop at the goal on occasion.

Chris also worked at keeping the romance alive with his wife, attempting to mend the damage Frio caused between them.  Being a good kisser matched with her hopeless romantic trait made it easier, as Molly seemed both shocked and pleased with his sudden actions.

As the summer came to a close, the girls practiced their synchronized flying.

And the family came together for a group photo.  Though the legacy had a long way to go, for now the family was happy and healthy, and Chris couldn't be happier.

P.S
It is incredibly hard to synchronize flying.
