Week 9 Summer
Part I

Ekene has always had a special connection with Sandi.  They have the same favorite color.  They grew up as the only non-fae children.  As a small child, Ekene had though Sandi was a boy, because all girls were faries.  They laugh about it now.  He was the first to know about the nooboo on the way, Sandi spun directly in front of him.  He immediately began to bond with the child.
"Hey there...I can't wait to meet you..."

He called his father over to take a break from fishing, determined that Sandi have the best of care.
"...and that's everything you can't do while your pregnant.  Oh, and it's a boy!"  Despite my force-feeding Sandi watermelon before she moved out.  Drat.

Meanwhile, Molly saw this at work.  This is a new development, I don't know when Jared got his brother, but it can't mean good news for the Steel family.  Molly had already had a hard day at work, and was rather singed, so she went straight home instead of confronting the light king about his brother's transformation.

Luella, ever the trouble maker, got arrested for breaking curfew.  She looks a little too happy about it.

Remember Sandi's award when she graduated?  Most Likely To Burn Down Their Own Home.  Apparently everyone else did too.

It was NOT a good night for Molly.

Still, the next day she spent with her firstborn.  Bonding with the extending tummy, seeing a foreign film about romance and cooking.  They had hardly finished the movie when the labor pains started.  The two walked to the hospital, passing a suspicious looking Connor Frio, but Micheal was there, keeping an eye on him.

Welcome Ali french!  An easily impressed loner, not a fae.  Collectively held breaths were let go.

Ali is a very loved child.



Ekene made sure to attend his nephews first birthday.

Surprise!  Ekene got Ali started on learning how to talk before he left for the night.  Ali has his father hair, mother's eyes, and is a triton(male mermaid).

Week 9 Summer
Part II

Early the next morning, Chris finally caught the last fish he needed. Incidentally, it also won him the Amateur Ichthyologist title.

And Molly revealed the secret room behind the bookcase.

We're all very proud of Chris.

With this achievement finally behind him, Chris turned hi thoughts to where they should have been some time ago.  Who would succeed him and lead the Steel household?  he sat Molly down late one night, and began to go over things with her.
"Ultimately...we have to think about what's best for the legacy, and that means choosing someone to be successful who will also keep the council happy..."
Molly nodded, even though her heart was heavy.  "They're just...still so young.  Does it have to be so soon?"

Chris sighed  "We can wait until graduation to tell them, let them just livve their lives a little longer.  Who do you think it should be?"
"I don't think I can give a good answer.  Darina is the one I'm most worried about, Frio wants her more then anyone else...and Luella is such a troublemaker.  Ekene is only mortal, and I'm not sure he handle everything the supernaturals will throw at him.  With the matches they've chosen, most groups will be pleased.  The fae are split evenly, between those who are in favor and against Frio.  The Andrews, Mcirish and Batchelor are behind us with Witch, were and mer support, and the Goth's are also bound to us through Sandi, giving the Ghost population a say, and the living members are also very influential...I think based on that we can make our decision just based on the children themselves."

"Yes, Molly, your right...and that's the problem.  What exactly qualifies an heir?  Achievments, skills, connections, ambition?...I wonder how my parents decided before they sent me here..."
"You have a little more time to think about it, the summer isn't over yet.  Just make sure you think about it carefully.  I love you Chris."
"I love you too, Molly."

In the meantime, Molly decided it was high time to throw another party.  But alas, she had no swimming pool.  Goodbye hard-earned saving!

The extended family was invited over, and a good time was had by all.

Sandi certainly dropped that baby weight quickly!

Beau and Micheal have lost their mer status, Micheal actually lost it while at the party.

Sandi's other tendency reared it's head again as well.  Her school chums clearly knew best, every time there is a fire at the lot she's there.

Shilo II decided to do some stretches** on his last day of puppy hood, giving him a negative moodlet from 'falling off the trampoline'.

Ekene worked on friend requirements, choosing to befriend members of the supernatural council to kill two birds with one stone.

Chris was approached by another member of the council who wished to weigh in on the legacy, and give Chris the council's two cents on their feelings.  The two happened to agree on almost every point, including the final decision Chris had made.

The triplets decided to work together on their skills, with Darina and Luella using various auras to enhance everyone.

They came home to a surprise that night.

Ironically, this was just the push Luella needed to roll the lifetime wish of International Super Spy.
Summer is over, here are the runnings for heir.  I was ready to declare the heir, but Chris and Molly aren't ready for their empty nest yet.

Darina: 3rd aura achieved, level 8 in athletics, 1st level in career and a B in school.  Partner decided.
Luella:  3rd aura achieved, level 8 in athletics, 1st level in career and a B in school. Partner decided.  Lifetime wish locked in.  level 3 celebrity.
Ekene: level 5 charisma.  2nd level in career and an A in school.  Partner decided.  level 2 celebrity.

Yay! Another chapter! Oh goodness, Jared transformed his brother...that can't be good for the family. Congrats to Sandi and Michael on their nooboo! Ali is too cute.

Week 10 Fall
}Filler Week{

One day after work, Ekene bumped into Conner Frio waiting for him.
"Hello Ekene..."
"Frio."  Ever the politician, Ekene made sure to speak politely, even if he wanted nothing to do with a Frio.  However...
"Conner, isn't it?  Lovely weather were having.  Say, I hear you work in Journalism, do you happen to know Fiona?"  By the end of the night, Conner was friends with Ekene.
 
The next day Ekene and his sister had a field trip to the theater for a ballet.  The girls fondly reminisced about their own dancing days, while Ekene tried not to look too bored.
 
Jocasta invited the entire family over for a costume party.  Molly was suspiciously absent.  The girls wore cheerleader costumes, Chris picked out a military uniform an Ekene tried out being a rock star though he spent most of his time with young Ali.
 
Afterwards the trio returned to the gym where the girls maxed out athletic and their fae powers, while Ekene went back and forth between charisma and his new passion, social networking.
 
Afterwards they went to the library where the girls leveled their logic up to 5 overnight and Ekene continued his work on charisma.  Blair supervised.
 
Meanwhile Molly worked on her new side project.  In order to asset her family as a prominent fae family, she purchased a plot of land to be designated as a fae grove...and a resort.
 
The tree is much more lovely with it's leaves.
 
Shilo the first aged up, shortly after the notice of Erin Kennedy's passing.
 
And Ekene befriended a member of the council, a witch by the name of Bebe Hart.  Her father would die late Saturday night.
 
Chris spent some time with his daughters to help them level their logic skill, and enjoyed another anniversary with his wife.
 
Ekene spent an evening at The Grove after receiving another raise at his job.  Monday would be the last day of school for the triplets, and graduation would bring the final results of the heirship to light.  Ekene was anxious to advance, and couldn't help but worry that his sister's may have outdone him in this race.  At least the bar had good drinks.

Week 11 Winter
Part I

It is nearly time.

Darina and Luella continued to study.  With her genius trait, Darina finished first, and began to work on painting.  Though the girls were not as good at school or work as their brother, neither was willing to stop putting out their best effort in order to be selected.

Ekene, desperate to prove himself to both his father the council further, began down the path of the rebel, and protested for the cause of supernaturals.  Making sure the proper people saw him, of course.

I had always intended for Fiona McIrish to live with Mollly once the children were grown.  Life had other plans.  Molly received the notice that it was almost Fiona's time, and had her move in so that the two could spend her last day together.  Fiona was a bit juiced already, but she agreed.

Later that night, it was time to say goodbye to the woman who was both the oldest witch in town, and Molly's best friend.
 
The family was distraught.  Fiona had been the triplets unofficial godmother, and they hadn't even considered a life without her.
 
Darina shared a long look with grim as he approached Fiona's ghost.
"She's 202 kid, that's old even for a witch, so don't give me that look."
 
Chris comforted Molly the best he could, while Molly tried to come to terms with the fact that a woman younger then her had already died of old age.
 
Fiona left behind a seed for the family that she had magicked out of a pumpkin just before her death, a special unknown.
 
They held a funeral for her the next day.
 
Life must go on, and Molly spent her time teaching the girls how to drive the day before their birthday.  Lovely glitched photo, isn't it?
 
Darina aged up first, gaining the artistic trait to better her lifetime goal.
 
Luella went next, gaining her father's Lucky trait.
 
Ekene was last, and revealed that he was Brooding.  No surprise there.

The way Francesca looks at him says it all.
 
With birthdays out of the way, the three got down to business.
 

Only Ekene bothered to get a blessing for his wedding.
 
And propose directly in front of a Frio.

P.S  Sekemoto was sooooooooo no on board, he turned down proposals 5 times in the file that Error12's and twice in the one that worked before he finally said yes.

Winter Part II

Keaton revealed a surprise to his bride the day they got married...and impregnated her in the same bed she was conceived in.
 
Luella also got pregnant in the same bed.
 
The girls had a double wedding, Ekene decided to let them have their own special day.


Presenting, Queen of the Dark Fae, Mrs. Luella Sekemoto, and Queen of the Light Fae, Mrs. Darina Keaton.
According to Christopher, Darina is having a girl.
 
And Luella is having a boy.
 
Ekene waited a night before doing the deed himself.
Mr. and Mrs. Steel.
 
Ekene respected his wife's love of flowers, and she decided on his favorite color over her own when it came time to do her makeover*.  After all, it wouldn't do for a politician wife to sport plantsim hair, and the red looked so much better on her then orange.  Besides, orange hair should be enough of her favorite color.

Despite abysmal traits and her parentage, I think she'll do.  She is surprisingly pretty post makeover.  Francesca did not hit the trait jackpot.  No sense of humor, virtuoso, coward, easily impressed and grumpy.  She wants to be a one-sim-band.  We'll see...

There were never any chimes, but 20 woohoos seemed to do the trick.  And I think it's official, this is the marriage bed...for all Steels.
 
Molly presented her new daughter with an orange guitar to welcome her to the family, and acknowledge her lifetime wish.
 
Francesca spent a day out with Ekene's pregnant sister, making sure to become friends with the celebrity sisters.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures, I was trying to wait until all three of them were showing, but SOMEONE went into labor before Francesca changed into maternity wear. Seeing Fiona's ghost was too much for poor Francesca.
 
Ekene used lifetime happiness points to get a diploma and started politics as a campaign intern, and gained the workaholic trait with his 'education'.  Spring is just around the corner, and it's open baby season!

By the By...Ekene would like to say a few things.

"My name is Ekene Steel.  I have secured the fates of my sisters by having them become Queens and influencing them to get pregnant on the eve of their weddings to ensure that they are safe.  I have wed the only daughter of my family's enemy to secure their safety, fae law states that as my father-in-law Jared may not pursue them or their children...My friendship with Connor prevents him from doing the same.  I have befriended half the council of supernaturals, and will win over the other half.  I have always known I would be chosen.  I will not fail."

P.S  Ekene's co-worker is his brother in law, and his boss is the late Fiona McIrish's girlfriend who happens to be light fae.  Interesting work dynamics.

*Makeovers may be cursed for me, it seems to be when my game usually decides to error 12.

Spring NooBoo-Palooza
Part I

I broke my rule about cheats simply because I'm fed up with the weak story progression.  The Goths have no babies, and despite having been dating for over 50 sim days, River and Leighton are still only dating, even though Sam and Luella, who live with them are both married and expecting a child.  Fiona wouldn't stand for it if her line ended, so Molly is taking the initiative while her old friend's ghost attends to important business.
 
But first, Molly decided to throw a -gift giving- Baby Shower for her two pregnant daughters and Francesca.
Ekene was disappointed to discover his sister, Luella, never appeared.  Apparently she had gone into labor shortly before the party started.  The game failed to notify me, I only figured it out when I noticed that Chris and Molly both had a wish slot open...and checked the family tree.  Ekene rushed over to greet his new nephew.  Welcome Richard Sekemoto!  The boy appears to be a normal sim, and is Disciplined and Brave.
 
No sooner had Ekene returned to the party, Darina decided to go into labor.  Ever the loving brother, Ekene decided to take his sister to the hospital.
 
Welcome Mia Keaton!  Another mortal baby, loner and slob.
 
Now, for the fixing of errors.  Bella was moved back in, given a fertility treatment, impregnated, and sent on her merry way.  In the Steel Prego bed, of course.
 
Next was darling River.  It didn't take long to convince Leighton to marry, it was only his son who had the problem.  But 20+ woohoos later, still no chimes.  I had them marry anyways, and I'll move River back in again if she isn't pregnant.
 
Lastly, I decided to bring Sandi back for one more night.  I never quite got over the disappointment of her not having a little girl, and both Molly and Chris wants 5 grand kids, so I might as well...
Both Ekene and Frannie (yes, like in American Dad) decided they wanted a boy.  Apples!  This works out perfectly for me, as I had always wanted Ekene's child to have a baby with a certain sim to cement all the family ties together...
 
It's a boy!  Welcome Uther Steel, an Evil sm who Loves the Heat.  Oh my...
Oddly Uther has a negative relationship with his mother, but is half-way to friends with Ekene, Chris and Molly.  On an unrelated note, Simis passed away shortly before Uther's birth.
 
His...aunt's father-in-law/great-godmother's son-in-law came for a quick snuggle.
 
Success!  Both Bella and Sandi are pregnant!  Two down...
 
I had to bring River back in the household again.  Three dates who knows how many woo hoos and no chimes later, River eventually got nauseous, I assume she's prego so back home she goes.
 
Ekene decided he wants another baby.  I'll indulge the guy, being a triplet and having another sibling to boot, the idea of having an only child is probably too much for him.  Thanks to the BED, he managed to conceive mere moments before his party.
 
Ekene decided to have his first Campaign Fundraiser.  All the Pregnant Ladies!  Stop laughing Ali, that's your aunt...and she's gone into labor.  Ekene!!
 
Ekene just barely got Bella to the hospital in time...only to be struck by lightening!
Bella admired Ekene's dedication, and brought baby  straight over after being discharged.  Her husband took it all in stride, he had been inside with his wife during the birth.  Welcome Glenn Goth, an Artistic Hydrophobic.

Ekene got in a quick snuggle before rushing home for his own son's birthday.  It was a little early, but two of Uther's cousins were already children, with his other being a toddler and unborn.
 
Uther got a little makeover, mainly to see what's what.
My god, what a little darling!  Black hair and black eyes, no idea where that came from, but he sure is a handsome little devil!
 
This was his default formal-ware, I only changed his everyday and hair...this kid is a snazzy dresser.
 
Sandi is having a girl!  Yes!!

Spring
Part II

Love day arrived, and nearly everyone associated with the legacy is either with child or has a child or a combination of the two.  Ekene tried to get the family together, but had to take Sandi to the hospital when she went into labor.  Surprise, it's twin girls!
 
First we have Alisa French, apparently human, an Excitable Virtuoso.
 
Second, Ruby French, also an apparent human, who is Athletic and Artistic.
 
While his sister was birthing twins, Ekene secured a raise and promotion from his boss outside of the hospital, and Frannie discovered that she was pregnant.
 
Molly spent some of her hard-earned painting money on The Grove.  That second floor thingy was a *****, I don't recommend trying it, took lv 3 & lv 2 columns.  The shadows are crazy, but it really is beautiful.  I'll get some better shots to share later.  Hopefully this is just the push it needs to reach 5 stars, the basements have a buffet pool gym and extra rooms, complete with bars and fire-walking pits, but it's been stuck at 4.5 for days now...and it worked!  Woo!  It may have been the biggest pain in my neck ever, but it oddly didn't cause a crash, and is oddly romantic in my eyes.
 
Every time there's a party these days, someone goes into labor.  While I was trying to have Chris figure out the gender, River went into labor!  Ekene!!
 
Good publicity for the new Mayor!  Leighton never showed up, but in his defense, River was only in the hospital for 3 sim minutes before she came back out again.  This is Rosa McIrish, she is a werewolf, making her the first supernatural baby since Darina and Luella.  She is a Friendly Loner!  what a combination.
 
Both Ekene and Frannie decided they want another boy.  More Apples!!
 
While we were waiting for baby number two, Ekene worked on preparing Uther for an early birthday.
"You have to be strong in this family...there are those out there who would see us fail."
 
"A job is very important, but this legacy is also a job by itself."
 
"You don't have to worry about that just yet though, on your birthday you can go fishing with Grandpa!"
 
I couldn't quite bare the idea of Luella and Darina only having a single child apiece, so they got another round in the Magical Bed Of Conception.  No sooner had Darina conceived, I had Uther potty trained and was about to bring him to his cake...and the Steel Party curse stuck again.  Francesca went into labor.  What a literal birthday party!  Vita Alto passed mere moments before baby number two arrived.  I also managed to get Luella prego just before Vita died.  What a day.
Introducing Eztebe Steel, a Grumpy Loner.  Based solely on that, I want to have him marry Rosa McIrish, but seeing as how they are both babies, I'll hold off on the final decision.
 
Eztebe is the first nauseous baby I've ever had.  He's not happy about it either.
 
Finally, Uther was brought to the cake by his favorite person in the world.
 
Uther, now that your a child, what is your first wish?
"I want to meet a Vampire."
 
...ok then.  Your grandmother and aunt's father in vamps, so i'll get right on that.  Since Great-uncle-in-law(?) Keaton is here, I might as well let you meet.  What big teeth you have!
 
This wrapped up the season, so i'll leave you with a picture from the party.

P.S
The bride of Uther had been present in these screen shots, feel free to speculate.  The lady has been chosen to be a part of this family since Christopher, I can only hope her she won't age out of child-bearing or move away before I can marry her in.

The grand kid count is up to 7 for Molly, 4 for Chris.  Apparently he doesn't consider Sandi's kids to be part of his family.  How sad.  Molly rolled a wish to have 10, and Chris wants five.  We'll see how this works out now that Darina and Luella are pregnant again.

Oh my, that IS a lot of nooboos! Uther is such a cutie. He looks a lot like Ekene. I'm going to have to take another look at the photos to figure out who his fututre wife is going to be!

Bad news:  My computer is dead.  Apparently the motherboard is fried.
Good News: The memory has been safely extracted and can be implanted into a new computer.
