Barnacle Bay and Ambitions lot placements

First of all not sure if this topic goes in here or in the Ambitions section.

So, following on from the Barnacle Bay thread, Pam you mentioned you found some fantastic lots to put the Ambitions Buildings on. I would be very interested to know which one's you have used, if you don't mind sharing. I'm useless at deciding this stuff. Took me about an hour to decide where to put them in Riverview!

Also this opens up to everybody else who wishes to share where they have placed the Ambitions services in Barnacle Bay.

Consignment Store:  515 Crabpot Close
Junkyard:  15 Wanderer's Way
Firehouse:  41 Rock Pool Park

I didn't bother with the Salon or the Laundrette.  The Junkyard lot is way out of town on the far side of the island.  The other two are basically in the downtown areas.

Why not? I understand the reason for not wanting a Laundry center, but I'd think a Salon would be a good thing to have. I just made a cute multipurpose building with a cafe, 'salon' area, and 'tatto parlour'.

Anyway, I just downloaded Riverveiw, and I didn't like where it put the fire house and consignment shop and salon, so I deleted those buildings, moved the entire neighborhood on the island to a different neighborhood, and made up new ones. I think I might have to make a new lot to put in a Junkyard...I don't like any large lots I see. Maybe it can be close to the Trailer Park area...

So far I've only placed two buildings. I put my fire house at 63 Driftwood drive and the salon at 27 Coral Flats. While I will let my Sims run amok at times I like my walkways and driveways to match up to the streets and sidewalks.

I placed

the Consignment Store where Pam did,
the large junkyard on a lot I made,
the Firestation on the available commercial lot,
the Salon next to the Consignment Store,
and the Twinbrook Community Garden on a residential lot, converted (I think).  Otherwise, there is literally no community garden with apple trees, etc. to harvest for starting a garden before the seeds begin spawning.
