Week 23 - The Return of the Terrible Hair Day

Antarono ages up into a bad hair day.




...the exact same hair as his father always aged up into. I hate that hair so much.




Guys. His genes. Guys.

Antarono does a lot of tutoring. He visits the MacDuff-Hai household to start the tutoring. Lots of glitches occur. First, Jules invites Arctura over to their home without touching his phone, all the while doing this:



Have a new desktop background.

Fawn passes out from dehydration. Mermaids and vampires both have needs-fulfilling issues, apparently.



Then Deirdre (I call her Didi) Hai gets tutored.



She's invisible. Lovely. So then I pan back to the house to check on Arctura, who just died for the fourth time, (unlucky mermaids rock) and while I'm at it the action drops from Antarono's que. I pan over to check on him and WHAT JUST HAPPENED




Which of these two do I pick? Didi! She's bright blue and has lovely features. Caitlin has an odd chin. (You can't see it too well in the pictures, but it's there.)

She gets an age of instant and moves in.



GUYS. She's so gorgeous how is this possible?



And she has attraction to Antarono!



And she immediately gets a wish to kiss him. GUYS SHE IS SO PERFECT



Back to Antarono. He begins his drums skill because those 5K wishes are driving me crazy.

But he still needs to tutor more people, so he goes to tutor the age-stuck Pete and check out what weird stuff will happen.




When he arrives home, one of the generated townies, who happens to also have generated fashion...



...causes Didi to glitch out.



I was like, "ok lets save and quit."

At the end of the week Antarono is almost done already! He needs:
~ 1 Career Reward
~ 2 Ops
~ 1 LTR (he has enough points to buy it)
~ 3 Wishes
~ 1 Challenge

The graphical glitch was actually just because I changed the Sim Detail graphics setting. My setting for the next few updates are truly horrid, and you may notice that. After about Week 25, I got a new computer and upped the settings again.

That glitch makes it look like Didi's gone into robot mode and she's so pretty. Glad you got a new PC

Actually, it wasn't a new PC. This might shock everyone, but apparently MacBook Air runs sims very well. I took a chance with my new computer... and it worked!

So glad everyone agrees with me about Didi. I just love her so much!

Expect lots more updates soon, as my 7th gen is a teen! I have some very simple requirements planned for him, and he is already completing them in great time.

Week 24 - Commitment Issues are evidently not powerful at all

(Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long.)

Antarono quickly finished his requirements. Why are there no pictures? Because he did nothing but drive in the motive mobile and play guitar at the subway. Not very interesting, huh?

(Didi is flirty. Antarono has commitment issues. None of this makes any sense.)

When Antarono pops a wish to kiss Didi and they start finding each other irresistible, I decide on a proposal...



...and a quick wedding...



...while Arctura dies again. (I love how Grim is all, "Stop already! God, don't you know I have a family and a house and stuff I need to do? Can't you take some work of my plate?")




And finally the baby is coming!

Arctura and Emelie aren't living together and also Emelie's reply doesn't make any sense.

Commitment Issues is such a weird trait. For every sim that plays it straight, there's another who screams "NOT OVER IT" after breaking up with someone and acts like a soppy romantic. Unless Antarono was just trying to brush it off to save face.

Hey all! I am planning to begin posting on this again. I am about 6 weeks behind, so it might take a while.

On the last generation, I've been having a lot of crashing. If all else fails I will have to move.

Maybe Emelie just wants a nice home for when Arctura pays a visit.

Haha, maybe that's it. I'm just confused in terms of game code. They aren't living together anymore as per dynasty rules.

TO RECAP:

The sixth generation is (hopefully) coming. They will be the child of Antarono and Deedee (originally Deirdre) who is technically Cerulean's grandkid.

The family tree is basically a mess. Generation one's kids are still alive and one of them has three adult kids.  Generation 6 will even have aunts and uncles!

The generations are, in order:
Cerulean (gardening and sculpting)
Atlantico (martial arts and athletics)
Caribbean (painting)
Arctura (nectar and alchemy)
Antarono (music and logic)
