Now photobucket has stopped working. Great. I love life.

I will try to figure this out (and probably fail) but for now... no update.

Week 20 - Atlantico Oceanos: Proud new Uncle and Grandfather (is he ever not proud?)

Carmella goes into labor at Jules and Fawn's home.

(I think Carmella is a little nervous...)
Carmella: I have now been in at least two dynasties with rainboo inbreeding. I'm nervous about how this will turn out.

Caribbean gets a good hairstyle.

And Caspian braves the glitches...

...to see his kids, Lucinda and Beau.

A few days later, he sees them aged up.

Arctura is almost done with his requirements, and he decides to pop a few wishes that I just can't turn down... Be Worth 1000000 and Have Firsts Child. I was going to try and max a bunch of careers or something but this is easier.

Arctura learns his final recipes and throws then into the Vortex of Making It Harder For Me To Achieve his Wealth Wishes (MIHFMTAHWW.)

Then he heads off to complete an op and get his supernatural bestie at the same time.

While he's there Arctura decides to throw some vials of bliss DEATH.
Arctura: Haha, I will destroy you all with my elixirs of terror!
Shhh... No one tell him that they're vials of bliss.

And after the last few elixirs are thrown...

Arctura and Emelie decide to be adorable while trying for baby.
Emelie: Wow, I'm so happy!
Arctura: Why?
Emelie: Because I just got 70,000 points of LTH!
Arctura: I only got 20,000 for that wish. How come you get to use the orb of answers?

Atlantico CANNOT WAIT to be a proud new grandfather. Wilhemina CANNOT WAIT to end this dynasty so she can switch out of her ugly wolf form.

Heir Four: Arctura Oceanos (Mermaid)
Traits: Light Sleeper, Couch Potato, Unlucky, Hates the Outdoors, Evil
Spouse: Emelie Van Gould
Children: Wait and see!
Toddler: Xylophone, Peg Box
Child: Honor Roll, Ballet Recital
Teen: Mausoleum Lev. 3, Honor Roll, Charmaine Rasmussen
1- Best Friend: Dave MacDuff - Fairy
2- Career Rewards: Nectar certificate, Scuba Certificate
3- BlackOps: Master Alchemist, Best in Show Competition, Settle an Argument
4- LTRs: Permanent Mermaid, Animal Expert, Fireproof Homestead, Friend of the Kraken
5- Wishes: Marry Emelie, Master Nectar Making Skill, Master Alchemy Skill, Have First Child, Be Worth 1000000 simoleons
6- Challenges: Mix Master, Master Nectar Maker, Flavorful Feet, Master Alchemist, Excellent Elixirs, Alchemist Anonymous
7- Mausoleum: 7 Elixirs
Completed Date: Week 21, Day 1 at 4:31 pm (the day the heir was born)

Thank you, Arctura, for being an agreeable sim despite having unagreeable traits. Thank you for never being light sleeper ish, not even once. And thank you for not giving me outdoor problems. No thank you for never popping that $150 nectar wish I wanted. One question: How are you are both a light sleeper and a couch potato? That doesn't make any sense, and it never will.

This about summarizes Emelie and Arctura.

One Last Note: Arctura got two certificates, one from Nectar Making and one from Scuba. It's not like he maxed that skill himself, guys! He's a mermaid! But he joined the career anyway and got a quick & easy career reward. I'm so lazy about these things.

Aww, I was hoping for a nooboo that's green like Carmella. Are there more chances for that, though? ;)

Werewolf glitches are weird. I get the one where elderly werewolves get pitch-black skin in their wolf form.

She had four kids before I ran out of room in her new house with Jules and Fawn. None of them were green which was very annoying. All were pink except for one. Guess which sim became the spouse? ;)

No idea why she moved to that house, although I guess she was best friends with Jules (he had charisma maxed and was friends with almost everyone, plus he had alchemists anonymous completed and he threw so many fountain of youths at her.)

Wilhemina was originally black in her wolf form, but then I had a huge crash right after she moved in with Atlantico and became light-skinned but with hugely ugly veins.

Week 21 - Trait Randomizers Suck At Life

I have some questions for all of you.

First off, how can someone be an excitable coward? How does that work?
Antarono: Woo! I can't wait to faint at the sight of my mother! And myself! Woot!
Yeah, see? It doesn't work.

Second, how can someone be grumpy and easily impressed? How does that work?

Antaro: Wow, Dad, I'm so impressed that you have scales like me, and I will now pout about that!
See, that doesn't work either. Trait randomizers suck at life.

Oh, wait. Let me back up. Emelie suffered through her GPS (Glitched Pregnancy Syndrome) and gave birth to two beautiful boys despite the watermelons. (Ugh!) Antaro (I've run out of ideas, don't judge me)...

And Antarono, our heir, who was suspiciously teleported home immediately. Is he a secret agent? (The answer, my friends, is no. Cowards can't be secret agents.)

He's his mother's clone. Totally.

Which is why I find it so funny that his mermaid brother favors his dad.

Seriously, go back and look at Arctura as a toddler. I swear to god they look so alike!

Some really quick aging...

...gives us a cowardly heir. Oh well, I knew it would happen eventually.

And a bonus shot just to see that he is a bright green and male Emelie Van Gould—

I'm really annoyed by my own no-recolors rule.
Antarono: I shall not let the horrible looks of my clothes get in the way of my mind (genius trait)! Therefore I shall play chess! I have no need of you, watcher! *sees his mom* Hey mom, I can't wait to faint at the sight of you despite the fact that I am also a vampire! *faints*

Emelie goes back to her room with Arctura.

Arctura: I still can't believe that you got 50K more for that wish.
Emelie: It's so romantic when you let the lady go first!

So then Antarono heads off to the chemistry table...

And I go and check on some former heirs.

For some reason, I think Caribbean isn't happy. I'm not quite sure why, it's just... a feeling I have.

WHAT. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR WINGS?

Late at night, the vampires go to a tutoring session - and Antarono rapidly gains Logic skill.

He reaches level 8 and doesn't pop the mastery wish. Then he gets to the top of level 9.

After a few days he hasn't popped that wish, so I let him finish it off.

He seems to guess I'm upset so he pops a different wish - Discover all Potions.

And on episode "I don't know or care" of just for the heck of it....

What is it with this family and thinking about rockets? He's a coward! I don't think he'd enjoy rockets! He'd probably start screaming and get a -600 moodlet!

There, see? He's a coward alright.
Antarono: I love fainting at the sight of things that aren't any scarier than vampires!

And as the last photo of this week...

Our spousal choices are at hand.

---<>---

*Note: I thought Emelie was going to have a girl, and I was going to name her Antara (for the Antarctic) because that's a real name. But of course she had boys. I guess I should just be glad they were cool colors. And that Antarono was an unbelievably handsome and hot adult. JUST WAIT.

She did but she also had a truly horrible facial structure when she became a teen. Carmella's genes didn't mesh as well as I'd hoped with Caspian's.

You did a life states dynasty... of course you understand!  :)

Week 22 - How Lag and Death became synonyms

The children age up on Monday evening after Antarono gets his honor roll.

Antarono gets a blog donation from Elisabeth Muncy...

Shown here. I think the homeless townies are the ones who donate to the blog.

Most of the townies who are generated from the sim finder app were actually already in existence. Ivy MacDuff shows up.

They just will not leave, and eventually I have to use a global reset sim. Why?

BECAUSE A SIM STARVED ON MY LOT AND ANTARONO GOT THE GRIM REAPER IN HIS RELATIONSHIP TRANSMOGRIFIER. (And because the game is lagging a ton.)

Then Antarono works on relationship transmogrifying more.

The townies fight over some cheating that I... may have started. *evil chuckle*

Then Antarono tutors.

Caitlin and Deedee are dressed in adorable spooky day costumes.

And now, just to show some Atlantico spawn:

From top to bottom: Starla, Bridgette, Pete in a hilariously terrible shirt, Dawn, and Anwar next to a quivering Antarono.
Antarono: I cannot wait to scream at the sight of my wolfy great uncle who is younger than me!
I totally understand why you would want to scream about that.

While Antarono tutors his YA great-grandfather in social networking...

BLOOPERS and some weird stuff

...so, um, this happened.

And then Arctura wanted to Learn Carmella's Sign after he chatted with her on the computer. Arctura, that is your great-aunt. Stop it. Now.

Pete is pretty darn creepy. Anwar is actually kinda cute, but Pete... is not.

Interesting bloopers there  :o That definitely seems like that would be a problem.

Do you mean the glitched outfit? That's a pretty common glitch but I still find it funny. The thing with Arctura and Carmella... I mean yes they arent elated but still, ewww.
