Town Editing Guide?

I was looking over your fabulous guide for tips on town editing.  Do you have a guide for this?  If you don't then may I suggest one is created.  The question I was trying to find is whether a community lot can be placed on a world.  I know we can place buildings on already established lots but I'm looking to see if we can create new ones to place more buildings.  Yes I am indeed thinking of the challenging Barnacle Bay when asking this question.

You can change the lot type, residential to community and vice-a-versa.  In edit town click on the desired lot and then there is a button to change lot type.  To make a brand new lot anywhere on the map, there is a world editor button.  It is on the bottom left of the screen.  From there you can choose what lot size you would like and place it where ever on the map, as long as it does not intersect roads, other lots, or placed on unchangeable terrain(forgot the exact wording from the game).  If you can not find it, reply and I will log into my game to get a better description for you.

Your information was very helpful gerrr00.  It sort of brings home the point, however, that a town editing guide might be helpful.  Thank you for giving me the answer I needed.
